Q: If you have a felony can you still go
A: Phillips answer is correct an ex felon is not permitted to be around firearms whatsoever not in gun stores not even in ranges

- Phillip (5 years ago)
Q: Are air rifles appropriate to bring?

I have been here many many times. Staff is very friendly. I appreciate that they have an RSO monitoring and making sure the range is as safe as possible. I bring my own ammo and targets, however I know they have a wide variety of targets for sale as well as range ammo for you to purchase. I always bring eyes & years, but they do have eye and ear protection for the new shooter.

Good range but ammo is extremely expensive and they advertise 20 yard range but its 15 and the marker says 15 at the end of the wall i asked the employee over the phone. He stated it was 24 yards when I arrived. It was 15 and a employee quickly verified and assured me that he's worked there for sometime and it is 15 not 24. You may respond and say that I am wrong, but no, I don't think I am

First time shooting and it was a blast! Hubby aced his first time with a shotgun. Fortunately a nice employee guy showed me how to hold the nine milimeter and I outgunned my sweety! Lol! Great place to bring your own guns and shoot with friends or rent from this fun establishment.

Took my dad here on Father's Day. It was both our first time here and definitely won't be our last! The staff was cool and welcoming. They were low on the ammo we needed but the dude who was checking us in held our lane while we ran up the street to big5 to buy some ammo. Definitely a cool place. Not too many lanes so try and get in early.

Ive been coming here for a while now and this is my preferred range for a number of reasons. Firstly, the guys working the counter have always been nothing short of friendly and social, not just to myself but anyone regardless of race ive seen checking in/out and general questions. Range officers have always been good when i go, granted its only weekends i go and its usually the same 2, Nate is usually whom i go to talk to the most. The location is convenient as its 5-10min down the street so when i can get a few hours i hop over and unload few hundred rounds and head home. The range itself is generally kept up well enough, had one instance where bracket for target was broken but i adjust angle of my target so it was level and straight, least of my concerns. Cost is more than fair, I including targets, since i have bought my own splatterburstΓÇÖs now for another outdoor range i go to when i wanted 100yds+ its even cheaper. Ive only had once instance where because the stalls are cramped a bit to unpack a AR case i was talked to about not unpacking on the bench behind, not a big deal but but cumbersome to pack/unpack in the stalls, also not a dealbreaker and the RO was polite about it. Additionally they are pretty cool about weapons you bring themselves as long as youre not being an idiot youre good. Lastly, i have met the owner, friendly enough, always seems busy with working on the shop but seems like a stand up guy. I would recommend this place in general for your practice needs.

A quaint shooting range with about 10 lanes. It is a bit on the smaller side but if itΓÇÖs close by it is very convenient. The lanes are charged per person so if you have one lane but two people, youΓÇÖll be charged by the person. I brought my own handgun, ammo and protection. Overall, costs are pretty normal and the facility is very clean. IΓÇÖd recommend coming here if you want to test out a handgun after some adjustments or to practice marksmanship.

Had two good trips here with my CCW holding step dad, and one with my GF teaching her how to shoot. Strange though, how much the RSO with hand tattoos attitude changed when I walked in one evening with my black friend. Apparently it was "too hot" to shoot, meanwhile there was a dude literally back there shooting. As i walked out the RSO said wait, are you guys 21? SERIOUSLY?! You think id come trying to shoot if i was a KID?! Yes im 24. No I'm never coming back here. Guy with hand tattoos makes up rules on the fly. But when i come with my GF who isnt 21, you guys can bend the rules? Right. But for a black guy following every rule "its too hot". Well now im outdoor shooting at Spenceville Firing Range rain sleet or snow (or heat)

ItΓÇÖs a nice place to shoot at. I really enjoyed my experience here and would come again when I can. Their hours are a bit tight for me because of my work schedule but itΓÇÖs not their fault and itΓÇÖs nice. Good for beginners, not too expensive

Good place to go target practice. Range goes up to 15 yards and the staff are friendly. A range master is also present in the range. They have targets, ammo, safety gear too if needed. ItΓÇÖs a relaxed environment for some safe shooting.

5 star spot for sure. Chris, the range master/instructor, gave me some pointers about my grip, trigger pull and facts about the firearms I rented. In a couple minutes my groupings got better than they were. Now it’s a matter of practice. Curious to try out a 1911… - Darann

Excellent safety. Good quality range. The safety/Range Master there was informative & non-judgmental of those who aren't the stereotypical gun owners. Reasonable prices. The lanes are a bit narrow. But there are 9 lanes, and I'll take the narrow as a trade off for the better quality and safety when compared to some other indoor ranges between Yuba and San Jose that I've been to over the years. Although I live 90 miles away, I'll be back to Laguna at some point.

Great place for new shooters. Range officers are firm with rules and protocols but are open to educating you on firearm operation. Enjoyed my time there! Make sure to bring your own ammo and targets!

Terrible experience, range is small, ammo is super overpriced. Range master is stuck up, snotty. Kept looking over shoulders, wouldnΓÇÖt allow fire arm cases to be out on tables. Just overall uncomfortable experience. Would avoid at all costs.

My wife and I have never been so humiliated and disrespected by this rangemaster from start to finish. He constantly was looking over our shoulders and eventually told us to stop shooting because we were accidently hitting "his ceiling"(He's not owner) a few times. We apologized. One girl a few lanes over hit the ceiling about 3 times, but treated them friendly. I appreciated him helping with a couple of newly acquired firearms because they didn't operate properly at first. He finally told us that we weren't allowed again at "his" firing range. As senior citizens, we were never told this by anyone in our lifetime. I've been using firearms since I was 21. He told me to take a safety firearms class. Once again, we've never been so disrespected by anyone like this. It was one of the worst experiences of our life and I would never come back there anyway. It seemed like he never liked us from the very beginning. He needs to take a class in human behavior or a people skills course. He supposevly was a ranger in the U.S. military. He could of fooled me. That's one person I could never thank for their service. He definitely went beyond the call of duty. Incidentally, my father after coming out of the endearment camps in Arizona, became one of the most highly decorated serviceman in the U.S. Army having served in WWII, Korea & 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. "GO FOR BROKE".

I have been here twice. At first i went on a weekday with my girlfriend so i could shoot my rifle for the first time and it was my girlfriends first time ever shooting a gun. An older gentlemen and a women were working and the older gentlemen was very friendly and respectful and helpful. He made our experience great and fun. Because of my first good experience we went back a second time on a weekend with some additional guns. This time there were 3 employees sitting on a couch when i walked in and as soon as i opened the door they were rude. They continually accused my girlfriend and I of carrying our guns wrong, they told my girlfriend to keep her gun pointed down range when she was the whole time and the old guy in the range was yelling at everyone shooting there. People like this make you feel like a criminal just for bringing guns to their range and wanting to learn. I will never step foot in there again after how disrespectful they were not only to us but everyone else who went there. I wish everyone was as friendly as the gentlemen who helped us the first time. Maybe then more people would be open to supporting their business and learning about firearms.

An old man who has been hired there knows nothing but to yelling at customers. This place should get zero rating.
