Q: Do you have rifle ranges that your location?
A: Our LHSC range is a pistol range in length, but is RIFLE READY for up to most 3600 fps rounds. We double wrapped the all steel traps with two layers of AR 500 bullet resistant steel. We do restrict the use of .50 caliber BMG, STEEL CORE AND CASED AMMO and INCENDIARY ROUNDS. Shotguns are OK, but slugs only, please. Our ventilation system does not recycle range air, so ALL range air is filtered and expelled into the atmosphere.

A: Lake Highlands Shooting Center does have a selection of rental guns

A: We do have several brands of pistols to try out from .22 to .45 caliber. I always recommend trying out several brands before buying. There is no cost to change guns once you rent a weapon. Q: Do you have a discounted "lady's day" like other ranges?
A: Aimee, We did for a couple of years, but the ladies attendance slowly dwindled to zero on that day. We do have "HALF PRICE HAPPY HOUR" weekdays from Noon til 2PM start time with shooters allowed to stay until we close at 7PM. Members can shoot for $5 during HPHH! We have a number lady instructors teaching at Lake Highlands Shooting Center. We encourage instructors to bring their classes to our range and share their diverse experience with our shooters.

Q: Can I bring my break barrel air rifles to this range? One is a .177 air rifle and one is a .22 air rifle.
A: Either one is fine as long as you are shooting lead pellets David

Q: What is the pricing like? How much per lane and is it charged hourly? What are the requirements?
A: Prices are solid. Facility is clean, well lit, and management knows its stuff. I won't shoot handguns anywhere else. Great instruction is available for newer shooters.

IΓÇÖm about 3yrs late on posting a review on this establishment lol but I just randomly remembered how my first time using a firearm was here on 9/10/2021 with Wil. He was my instructor and was very thorough on helping me understand the proper usage of a firearm and all the safety precautions that I should know when using one. Although I donΓÇÖt live as local as I used to, I would definitely come back if in the area.

Good range for the casual recreational shooter. Easy to find and worth the drive across town. This shooting range has mechanized targets, ammo is available, and the staff is friendly. Range fees are very reasonable and they have 1/2 off from 12 noon to 2pm. Definitely recommend this if youΓÇÖre looking for a place to shoot a few rounds. Oh yea they offer LTC classes and self defense gun course.

This shooting range is fantastic! The owner, Marc, is kind, helpful, and willing to educate. The atmosphere of this range makes people feel welcomed. The facility is clean and well-maintained as well. The M-Th happy hour, 12-2 pm, is a very nice feature if your workplace is close to this range like mine, haha.

Racist Racist Racist. This was my first time at this gun range, walked in with some family members that were visiting from Mexico, when I handed mt LTC and my uncles passport the gentleman at the check in counter started looking for a visa stamp on the foreign passport and denied access to the range because he believed that my uncle did not enter the US legally. He said that was the rules and he was only doing his job. After leaving the place, I checked their website, and nowhere states that shooters need to prove that he or she enter the country legally as a passport is an international ID. Here is a screenshot of their rules posted on their website. According US customs and border protection web site they do not stamp passports since August of 2022. It's clear that your employee was profiling based on looks.

IΓÇÖm very picky when it comes to gun ranges as I like to shoot suppressed and I have to say this place is awesome. Well ventilated (A++ for suppressors), cool AC, very organized and safe. Highly recommend this spot. Will be back again.
