Q: Are you guys still doing the concealed carry classes
A: Yes, Normally we hold our Concealed Carry Class on the second Saturday of the month unless I'm training out of town. Price is $125.00 and includes all course materials, coffee and donuts on arrival, lunch with salad and desert, as well as guns and ammunition if needed, at no cost. Our next class is March 11

Q: What are your hours?
A: We work by appointment only. Call and we can set up a time for you to train or shoot. Our rates are $60 per hour for training one person and $20 more for each additional person. We allow use of our facility as a range without training at $60 per hour for up to two people. On our pistol range you can draw from holster, shoot rapid fire, and you can do move and shoot exercises, provided you have the skills to be safe. We also have a 100 yard range for rifle sight in and a five stand shotgun range.

Q: What is your experience as a trainer?
A: IΓÇÖve been a compensated shooting instructor beginning in 1980. IΓÇÖve competed and coached on a national level since 1984. I ran the North Carolina High Power Rifle team for six years through the Director of Civilian Marksmanship, a department of the Army. IΓÇÖve competed in dozens of nationals and three world shooting championships. I teach the most up to date fundamentals that the best shooters in the world use.

Q: Can you do group events?
A: We can do team building and family group events that involve rifle, pistol, or shotgun. We can furnish food and refreshments of needed. WeΓÇÖve done corporate events, groom parties, family events, and even a baby gender reveal. We also do training and qualification for Church security teams.

Q: Do you rent guns?
A: No, but we can furnish almost anything youΓÇÖd like to try at no cost, shotguns, rifles, and pistols. You pay for the ammunition used. We have training guns that allow learning the fundamentals with low recoil, noise, and low cost of ammunition. We have all the best concealed carry guns and new shooters often come to do tryout sessions to find which gun to buy.

Q: Do you have an age requirement?
A: For shooting, we find eight years is about the practical limit for shooting a .22 training rifle, shotgun depends of the child, and pistol requires a bit more maturity. We have youth guns suitable for new shooters. We regularly do youth training sessions for families or groups. We do youth firearms safety classes if needed.

Q: What do I need to shoot and train on your range?
A: All you need is a safe attitude and a willingness to learn. Much of our training involves new shooters with little or no experience. With our instruction, we furnish eye and ear protection, targets, and training guns at no cost, ammunition is available and you pay for what you use.

Q: How does your facility work?
A: We have a large pistol bay with steel targets and target frames that allow shooting from inside our building. This place was great. I needed to sight in my rifles for hunting. He fit me in and had them sighted in in minutes. I shot them and never have been so confident in going hunting. So accurate. I shot my 1st deer.

Mr. Dick is the only professional marksman IΓÇÖve ever trained with. Within 30 minutes and 11 rounds he had me getting 4 rounds in a two inch group at 25yards with a 30-30 lever action. HeΓÇÖs an absolutely fantastic teacher and 60 dollars is a bargain for an hour of his time. Kind man and patient. An experience IΓÇÖll never forget.

I shot with some family for a couple of hours and the hospitality was great. The owner has such a nice personality and he even helped us shoot better. He also helped sight in a few guns and even let us stay a but extra. Now I want to take classes here to learn how to shoot better and I know that I will be getting much more than my moneys worth.

I had such an amazing time! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I have been to three different ranges, and this was my favorite. The pictures I have attached show my before and after targets, once I got more training from the staff. You can see the difference in how my function and aim improved. I will definitely be returning and recommend this range to anyone!

I been the military for over twenty years and my experience today has been the best one on one experience that I have ever had. He is funny, entertaining and very patient with his instructions. I would recommend Mr.Jones to everyone that is willing and wants to learn how to properly shoot.

Range was inadequate for any real shooting. Instructor was friendly we were quoted over the phone $60 for 2 people for an hour. It ended up being $80. Instructor said he wasn’t going to charge us for my GF being there and only shooting about 5 rounds. And he said it like he was doing us a favor. 🙄 My buddy had to zero 2 rifles and instead of being allowed to do it himself.. ( we are both Iraq Combat vets ) the guy running the range did most of the shooting… so that was odd. The “instructor” did a fair job when giving 5 min worth of instruction to my GF who is a novice. The so called “rifle range” is only about 100 meters. Final verdict… Nice staff but very over priced, and inadequate facilities.

Went to shoot a Glock 45, AR 15, & Micro Draco and had a really fun & great experience. I learned how to properly hold a pistol and aim properly. I hit a bullseye on my first attempt by just observing!! Really experienced teacher & has a nice, friendly personality.

Went a few days ago and it was amazing. The instructor was very insightful and helpful. Was the first time I actually LEARNED how to fire a gun and I saw my shot improve dramatically. Definitely worth the trip.

My boyfriend and I went today! It was our first experience at an outdoor range, and it was amazing! Mr. Jones is very knowledgeable and helpful! He even helped my boyfriend zero-in his red light- very quickly too! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Had an amazing time and one of the best ranges I have been to. I live in ohio and drove to north Carolina for my stepdaughters graduation. We wanted to take her to shoot for the first time. Best decision ever. As someone help teach concealed carry classes, he is the best instructor I have ever met. Even taught me something new. He was so good I scheduled my stepdaughter for a concealed carry course before we left. If I could give him 10 stars I absolutely would. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
