Incredibly knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I am new to all of this and they made me feel welcome and provided a safe and encouraging learning environment for someone new like myself. They have a very nice set up, and would highly recommend.

My daughter and I had a private lesson with Ken. Started from the basics of safety, stance, grip, sights - really everything you need to learn as a beginner! He helped us learn what to look for when watching each other shoot to continue to use the skills he taught us! We both felt really comfortable and safe! His teaching style was professional, but also warm in a way that allowed us to feel like we were with a trusted friend. WeΓÇÖll definitely be going back again!

Ken is an outstanding individual and instructor. I have been in law enforcement for over 27 years and have been trained by various firearms instructors. I have to admit that Ken taught me techniques that clearly improved my marksmanship in pistol shooting. I would recommend Liberation firearms training to anyone who wants to educate themselves in firearms safety and training. ΓÇ£Off the XΓÇ¥ was a lot of fun and filled with great subject matter. Whether you are new or experienced, you will take something away from this class. Ken BrownΓÇÖs teaching style is a lot of fun and effective. He was able to adapt the class to fit the needs and experience levels of our group. I would recommend this class to shooters who have the basic fundamentals down to a muscle memory and impeccable muzzle awareness (there are exercises that involve moving and shooting next to a teammate with a loaded gun). I would take the class again. 10/10

I had my first lesson with Ken at Liberation Firearms today and I can't recommend it enough! I had a little experience but not enough to feel comfortable handling a firearm, and I left today's training session feeling 100 times more confident in the basics of loading, handling, and shooting. I never felt self conscious or embarrassed, and I felt extremely comfortable asking questions no matter how basic they seemed. HIGHLY recommend Liberation whether you're experienced or not!

I have had three private instruction classes at Liberation and have progressed immensely each time. Both Ken and Brandon are very good instructors, very calm, very knowledgeable and very precise with honing techniques. Last week, especially, Brandon very quickly zeroed in on the issue I was having. The indoor facility is great, perfect for you around and most especially when it's too hot or too cold. Ken and his wife Crystal have done a great job creating the facility and they've staffed it with a top-notch team.

What an incredible experience! Got to get one-on-one training with Brandon while traveling in central Oregon. The facility was top notch, the training was by far the best. 10/10 high quality service with honest and relatable people. Amazing firing rage that can be static or interactive. One on ones, with tons of help and a probably if not one of the best classes for getting your concealed carry certification in Central Oregon. Never rude and great vibes. They also sell guns at a great price.

Absolutely awesome place for training/shooting. Everyone that works there is a very experienced shooter and their one on one individual training is great. Great place for beginners as well since you can rent a variety of pistols for a very reasonable price. Definitely would recommend checking this place out

I love it here. The staff is so friendly and they offer some really cool rentals. The range is a super fun experience. I did it with my brother. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed fun environment to get some training and experience with their firearms.

Kinda bummed out that I called you guys 9 days in advance so I could bring my son down to learn how to shoot in a professional environment and it didnΓÇÖt happen. I sent emails, talked to multiple people on the phone with promise they would call me back and never did. Now im having to find my son another gift last moment. I considered buying a family membership with you guys but feel let down. Phone staff took to long to respond to my inquiry and at the end of the day my hype to spend my hard earned money with yall was deterred.

Absolutely love this establishment! IΓÇÖve purchased a match grade weapon and I canΓÇÖt stress enough how friendly and welcoming the process was to accomplish. IΓÇÖve bought else where and never had the same service. You can tell can and his wonderful employees enjoy what they do and truly have fun with their job! It feels like true friends inside his shop!

I had the best time here at Liberation!!! Ken was amazing to work with from our very first communication to the final completion of the course I took. I have needed firearm credentials for over 7 yrs now, and out of three States and lots of classes, Ken's class was by far the best training I have ever had!! I was able to spend three days of one on one with him. He was full of very useful knowledge, and he helped me narrow down some weak spots that I didn't even realize I had. By the time we were done I left feeling extremely confident in the new things I learned. I plan on hooking my son up with him for some training, and I am looking forward to taking some of the other classes he offers. I am also forwarding his info to the company I do some work for, in hopes of getting company training done through Liberation in the future. Thanks again Ken. I'll be talking to you soon!

I thought IΓÇÖd have been tired and a little overwhelmed with the 8hrs CCW instruction class, but left energized and wishing I had another 2 hours and 200 rounds to shoot! These guys know their stuff, are incredibly professional, very safety conscious and are huge on how you train is how youΓÇÖll shoot. CanΓÇÖt wait to get back in!

Seeing your absolute favorite band from the front row, being able to see, hear, and feel the energy… versus watching the performance on YouTube. Not quite the same, right? That’s the difference and differentiation that Liberation Firearms training brings to you. As a person who was becoming so unfamiliar with firearms due to years away from them, I was interested in safely re-acquainting myself and started with the “CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON (CCW)" course. I had no idea this seemingly entry level course would include the most engaging classroom time I have ever experienced, but also Virtual Reality, as well as hands-on, individual instruction on the range. The Virtual Reality component was a completely unexpected treat, and I feel it was the perfect set up to get me moving and active, in order to prep for the following range time which was similarly active with times drills and movement – this is no “stand, point, and shoot” operation. The crew at Liberation met me where I was at in my knowledge and skills, and subtly pushed me beyond my own expectations of myself, to become comfortable and confident with firearms. The 1:1 attention in both the classroom as well as the range was unexpected, and I would believe unmatched by competitors. They had me feeling like the main event on-stage, not just a bystander in a the nose-bleeds. Right after I publish this review, I will be going straight back to the Liberation website to book follow-on courses, not because I feel like I was left lacking and that I NEED to, but because I WANT to.

Professional guidance and attention to safety. My mom and I took a basic pistol course. Both of us have not fired a pistol in nearly a decade. Kirk had us feeling safe and at ease within a few minutes, but took extra hours with our specific questions around modern defensive shooting. Kirk had the dynamic leadership it takes to work with both of us simultaneously. My mom is a 100 lbs 60 yr old female and I 180 lbs 30yr old outdoorsman. Kirk challenged us individually and we were laughing by the end of it. Admittedly I felt very protective of any instructor working with my mom. I was afraid they might frighten her or make her feel dumb for asking questions. But she had absolute blast! Kirk taught us a strong foundation of safety. Now we have the confidence we needed to train properly. We both still have a lot of reps before we become proficient with our weapons. We will be going back to LFT for all our future training.

As a fellow instructor, I appreciate receiving/experiencing thorough, effective teaching from other instructors. Ken and Kirk are great examples with their genuine interest in their student's progression, patient coaching, systematic delivery, and astute observations and feedback. I highly recommend taking training on a continuous and consistent basis with Liberation Firearms. Shooting is a diminishing skill, therefore it is important to keep practicing, and practice making decisions. I love Ken's mantra where he wants "shooters who can think, and thinkers who can shoot."

My wife and I moved here 6 months ago. I decided to do armed security and was recommended to Liberation Firearms Training. These guys are the best and will help & answer any thing you throw at them. Being a Ca. Smog technician for 27 years IΓÇÖve had a lot of instructors but not like these gentleman. If you have a chance to check them out do it. Thank you Ken and Kirk, your awesome!!!!

Kirk was knowledgable, personable and professional but also fun! I really enjoyed my experience! My pistol confidence and skillset has significantly increased with my class experience. He kept the class interesting and engaging. The pace was good. I am looking forward to additional training with him.

Kirk is a very knowledgeable trainer. He is very through, answers any question you might have. I took the 4 hour class and learned so much more about weapons, ammunition, and most importantly, concealed carry laws. I am glad I took his class instead of one of those mass classes that don't care if you learn or not. I feel much better about my weapon, ammo and my own capabilities. Thank you again Kirk ! BC

Kirk was awesome. I took the 4 hour concealed carry course and couldnΓÇÖt be happier with the experience. I will definitely be back for their live-fire training. TheyΓÇÖve got some neat plans for the future and some cool technology already in place.

Kirk was excellent. He knew what guns we were bringing ahead of time. He used a camera that was displayed on a tv screen so we could see what he was showing us on his pistol and ours. He went to each individual to show and help them. He went over how to take the gun apart and how to clean each and every piece. Then after we cleaned he checked to see if we missed any spots. He also showed us how to look for nicks and spots that may need to have extra cleaning that could affect the shooting of the gun. Also what to look for to see if a part needs to be replaced due to damage. Definitely recommend this class.
