This place is awesome. Really cool ranges, the facility is really nice, and their store is huge and they have a ton of cool stuff. I did my first FFL transfer there recently and it was extremely smooth and easy. Shout out to Max in the store who was extremely helpful and kind. He helped me figure out a bunch of things for my first modern rifle purchase and gave me some great tips.

Outstanding Facility for Shooting Enthusiasts! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Liberty Firearms Institute in Johnstown, Colorado, and I must sayΓÇöitΓÇÖs one of the best shooting ranges IΓÇÖve ever been to! The facility is top-notch, offering a well-maintained and modern indoor shooting range that caters to everyone, from beginners to experienced shooters. The lanes are spacious, well-lit, and equipped with excellent ventilation, making for a comfortable shooting experience. Beyond the range, Liberty Firearms Institute stands out with its extensive firearm selection, gunsmithing services, and educational classes. Whether youΓÇÖre looking to purchase a firearm, get some custom work done, or take a class to sharpen your skills, this place has you covered. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to helpΓÇöwhether itΓÇÖs answering questions about firearms or providing helpful tips on shooting techniques. I was particularly impressed with their gunsmithing services and training programs. The institute offers in-depth classes for those looking to learn more about firearms maintenance, safety, and even gunsmithing, making it a fantastic resource for both hobbyists and professionals. Overall, Liberty Firearms Institute is a must-visit for firearm enthusiasts in Colorado. ItΓÇÖs a well-run, welcoming facility that truly values safety, education, and customer service. IΓÇÖll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great shooting range experience!

This facility is nothing short of incredible. It would put you in mind of a hotel or spa given the cleanliness, general environment and the friendly service. Booking, ID checks and health and safety protocols were all very straightforward. I will definitely be back!

I went in to find out about a gun to purchase. Russ went over different types of guns and how to shoot them, as I had never shot one before. They really go the extra mile to make their customers feel welcome had to help them understand the product they are buying.

Over-all its not bad. The range is nice, the people for the most part are helpful and kind. The prices seem a bit higher than some other shops but not a ton. The reason I want to remove 1-1/2 stars is to certainly NOT recommend you take your weapon to the "gunsmith". The times I have tried to give him business he wont give me the time of day, has a poor attitude and wont ever explain why he cant do something. Every single time I have approached the window it is always "cant do it" from across the room. I am convinced either he can only, or is told to only, screw barrels and muzzle devices on.

What an amazing state of the art facility!!! The BEST range I’ve ever been to between California and Colorado. Heather, Cami and Wayne were the best hosts for our Mile High Bronco Club event! We all had an amazing time and can’t wait to come bring friends and family back up to Liberty. It was worth the hour drive from Castle Rock. We’d do it again and again. Thank you again for the amazing time!!! 🙏🏻🙌🏻

This place was truly amazing! My wife and I have never been to a gun range nor have shot a handgun before but a few local friends to the area brought us here and we are so glad we went! The facility is very well kept, and their process from as soon as you walk through the door to when youΓÇÖre lining up at the range was very well explained to us and thorough. Every interaction we had from the ladies at the upstairs front desk, to the range desk, and the RSOs were super friendly to us and answered any and all questions we had. We went upstairs to the pro shop to go check out their inventory and the gentlemen behind that desk were really friendly and respectful to us and very knowledgeable on the subject. Thank you LFI! We will definitely be returning!

What an amazing experience we had today. Heather, Mike, the ladies at both the front desk and the range desk were all super helpful. The range staff and retail staff were all very knowledgeable and helpful. If you are looking for a place to shoot, buy, learn, or rent, this is the place to go. My only regret was that I had not been in there before today. Very highly recommend liberty firearms institute 👌

I had the pleasure of visiting the most top notch shooting facility I have ever seen today with my Bronco family. Heather was so knowledgeable, kind, and fourth coming with so much information. Gave me great advise on my next purchase as well. Her, Cami and the rest of the team are definitely some amazing people. Meeting the owner Wayne was such a treat as well, getting to share in his enthusiasm made for the best Saturday! If you havenΓÇÖt visited, itΓÇÖs a must. I know IΓÇÖll be back to shoot, and probably purchase my next firearm!

Had the absolute BEST experience today with my family! Such a beautiful and luxurious shooting range with top notch service from everyone! The team is very knowledgeable and you can tell that they are all passionate about what they do. My family and I drove over an hour from Aurora to visit and all I can say was that it was well worth it. We will gladly do the drive again to come to Liberty Firearms Institute! They have the coolest, and most kind staff and the owner Wayne is the most generous man I have had the honor of meeting. You need to visit here if you have the opportunity :)

I went to look at some handguns, hoping one might catch my eye. I donΓÇÖt know a lot about guns yet. Russ came over and taught me so much. He gave me some history of revolvers, suggested some guns and classes and gave me tips to make my form so much better. I will definitely be back and hope Russ will be there!
