We purchased a gun online for our first time. The staff was the best. They made sure everything was perfect with the purchase, and everything was good online. I appreciate they took that extra step to make sure we are safe with the purchase. Definitely will be coming back to try their indoor shooting range. They have quite a few unique guns in their collection as well! You can get pistols - rifles - suppressors - even safes.

Great shop and range. Knowledgeable staff, and a wide selection to choose from. The indoor range is a great spot to become familiar with your purchase, and again, a knowledgeable, and very helpful staff is available to make sure you have a fun, and safe experience.

Recently stopped by and man, did i have a great experience. Trent was very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and helped me better understand what kind of firearm to go with. The facility was clean, and everyone was very welcoming. Thank you, trent, for taking the time to help me and make my experience great. I'm definitely coming back.

Last night, my nephew and I went to LSSS to enjoy a brief experience on the range. We arrived at 6:25. Once we entered we were not greeted with a smile but with discouragement. We were advice the range closes 15 minutes early for clean and to in process would not allow us any time to utilize the range. Both of us felt we were profiled for being Hispanic. Never have we felt so belittled in our lives. IΓÇÖm US Army Retired and the only things that comes to mind is, ΓÇ£they can all go coitus themselvesΓÇ¥

The website does not list that you would need to bring an additional person if this is your first time renting a firearm on the range, nor was this brought up on the phone call inquiring about range services for a first time renter. This really should be communicated before someone takes the time to come to the range. Two stars because the staff was friendly despite the poor communication.

I went in and made a purchase today. Wasn't going to post but just realized how prejudice the store manager was. So if your LGBTQ don't bother to waste your money. He clearly didn't have a problem with gay jokes in front of my wife and I after we spent $800.00 purchase. Do better manager. This day and I believe money is still green. They didn't mind charging my CC.!!!!!!!! Ps your assistant manager not sure of his name but super tall BEST customer service without prejudice!!!!

Don't go here, they steal your money.... they sell you used and broken things, then when you come back the next day they don't even give you part of the cost back, they don't fix it, and they mistreat you and tell you that they sell things that aren't new in their final state for an extreme price, the worst.

We took a group of first timers to shoot without knowing what to expect. Kent and Bill were extremely helpful and friendly. They walked us through how to use each handgun and rifle and were very patient with us. We loved our experience we will be back

I found a MG they had and wanted to purchase it. I live out of state so needed to coordinate it to be shipped to my FFL. I found an FFL for that transfer, then called Lonestar to start the transaction and was told "a customer is looking at it right now, call back later to see if we still have it." First bad customer service response from the shop when I said I wanted to buy it. I called back a few days later and they said they still had it, so I said I'd take it and started to coordinate with my bank for the payment. When I called back to send payment and get the two FFLs talking, I was told "The owner decided that If he wanted to sell it out of state he'd put it on gunbroker for more money so he's just gonna sell it locally." Horrible service, especially to a 20 year Army vet.

Best facility in town. Top notch facility, with all amenities you could ask for. Woman and Veteran owned and operated. Super competitive prices on all retail items including firearms. Range is clean and FRESH air is constant, you can actually breathe and your eyes dont burn. More employees on the floor than any retail gun store in town that are all ready and able to assist. Ample classroom space for LTC and firearms classes. What more could you ask for, keep up the great work Lone Star!

I've been making visits to this place for nearly 5 years. I've never had a negative experience. Doesn't matter which staff member I've dealt with, every single one has been able to answer my questions, or has quickly brought over someone who CAN answer them, if they themselves don't have a thorough answer. It is very well run...clean, organized and professional... and best of all... fun!

Not very happy with this venue. Poor customer service. Edited to say per my records we first came to this venue in 2018. Evidently my profile was not saved and due to this I was unable to shoot by myself. My job requires me to keep my skills sharp. I was not asked pertinent questions I feel wouldΓÇÖve helped staff qualify me, such as licensed or certificates etc. Staff was less than helpful and dare I say dismissive of me as a female. Really a shame. I will not recommend this venue to any friends or family.

My first time coming in was yesterday after work I get off at 5:30 so gun stores are usually closing then, got online and searched gun stores near me (new to the Lubbock area) and saw lone star was open till 7! I went in and the staff was very welcoming and helpful I can’t remember if his name was Ken or Kent or Trent but let me tell you this guy was Awesome at his job! I’ve been looking into getting a suppressor for a while now and decided this will be the year, but knowing that I showed up at the end of the shift I figured I would just browse around, nope! Last 30 minutes till close and he was giving me all the info on all types of products and with enthusiasm. It’s these interactions that make an average joe like myself want to do business here. I’d give more stars if I could. Today I’m off and have plenty of time to fill out paperwork and make some purchases I can’t wait to go back today! Best store in town out of the 4 I’ve went to they just do it the right way, very organized and clean, the staff is friendly and wants to sell to customers and treat you like they want you to be there unlike my experience at sharp shooters who had me sitting there waiting around for thirty minutes and when I finally got some help or whatever you’d call it the staff treated me like they didn’t want to sell me anything. I came into lone star in my dirty work clothes and got treated like I was the president. Thank y’all for the hospitality and today I plan on spending $1500+ of my hard earned money at this store based on that 1 interaction I had yesterday. 🦅🇺🇸

Came into your shop for the first time on 02/05/2024. I traded G20 Gen5 towards G48 MOS. I wasn't going to buy anything else when I sold my gun. But the way your employees made me feel comfortable and welcomed I was like hell with it one more gun will not hurt. I also like the fact that your rental fee is for 24 Hours unless extremely busy and that's understandable and also a reason I'm itself for shooters to come frequent your business. I really wanted the G43X MOS and I knew exactly where to go that had it in stock due to your location being out of stock. But with the professionalism of your workers I just had to put hasw a firearm. You will definitely have me come almost 150 miles away at least every two months to spend just two days shooting. I will also get my Texas LTC at your location and any additional trayas well. Oh yeah glad you all are a Staccato dealer I never shot a 2011/1911 but staccato will be my first entrance into the platform and will purchase through your business.
