Q: Do you offer introduction training to trap shooting?
A: If you visit the range on any public shooting day, someone will be glad to demonstrate trapshooting and safety basics to you.

Q: Do you allow shotgun rifle slugs to be used
A: NO. Target loads only. Shot size 7 1/2, 8 or 9. 1 1/8 oz load up to 1290 fps 1 oz load up to 1325 fps 7/8 oz load up to 1350 fps.

Q: How much does a round of singles cost? Do you have a trapper on each trap range or do shooters self-manage?
A: Public shooting days are Wednesday 4-7 pm & Sunday 12-4 pm. There is always a range duty officer on site. Each round cost $6. You will need your own shotgun, ammo, eye and ear protection.

Q: Do you sell clay targets or know where they can be purchased in NJ?
A: We do not sell targets.

Q: do you rent and do i need a permit
A: We Do Not rent Guns or sell ammo. You do not need a permit to shoot at Mallard, just your own shotgun for clay target shooting.

Absolutely wonderful group of guys who are very welcoming, with fair pricing even for nonmembers I have only been once, but plan on taking a lot more trips

Went here for the first time Sunday with my son. Everyone was extremely helpful and informative. They really helped my son with some refresher pointers and helped make the experience much more enjoyable. Clearly a good group with great comradery. Highly recommend!

The members of this club are great! My friend and I took our 3 teenage kids and they basically took the kids under their wing. One of the members even let my daughter shoot a full round with his really nice gun. Big thanks to George and Franko! Looking forward to going back and possibly joining.
