Q: Can we mag dump and is it open i heard it was flooded ?
A: Hi Luis, that depends on what you mean by "mag dump" - if you are referring to rapid fire, that would be no. If referring to full auto fire, fully auto firearms are not permitted at the club If meaning firing at 1 shot per second (or longer) until your mag is empty, then that is fine Yes, the entire property was flooded, but all ranges are now open except rifle range

Archery, pistol, blackpowder and shotgun. Location is alright just need to be careful on airport with sppeding cars, the driveway makes it a challenge with the incline to leave and enter at times

While in the Manteca area for a class my sister and I decided to try out a shooting range in the area. Arriving at the range one fills out the release of liability form, pay their fees and gets their lane assignment from the RSO (Range Safety Officer). While in the range office a gentleman in a Blue Coat introduced himself as the RSO. We were given the run-down of no speed firing, mag-dumping, etc, 1 round per second. Fair enough. Once out on the range, another guy who was shooting wearing a brown coat and beanie cap was directing us to the lanes. Odd, as only one RSO is needed. Meanwhile, we could hear speed firing on an adjacent range, yet it may have been a class qualification, as they use ΓÇ£TridentΓÇ¥ training school,... (Perhaps I should call Don Shipley). The point and purpose of our visit is to A.) Check out a new range we may want to partner with and B.) my sister needs to practice for her CCW Class renewal. The set-up was fine yet I noticed Brown Coat walking around to other folks lanes and watching and giving advice,... yes let's call it advice. I am thinking literally ΓÇ£Stay in your LaneΓÇ¥ dude, as that is rude. Now I have been shooting for a while, like since 1978, I was a qualified instructor for over 25 years, so I am attempting to instruct my sister on her target acquisition and trigger control. Then Blue Jacket comes over and starts giving advice, and mentions a women's firearms class, while I am attempting to get her relaxed and back into the groove. Its a kind jester and his heart was in the right place so, I let him talk. Her next volly, she has an issue with her hand as it's really cold out and she set her pistol down due to cramping. Now, the safest place for a firearm on the range is in your holster or on the table,... here comes Tackleberry with a Brown Coat. Half yelling: ΓÇ£Don't put a loaded firearm down on the table, you never set a loaded firearm down on the table!ΓÇ¥ So, I picked the weapon up, cleared it and locked the slide back and jammed a flag in it, to show clear chamber. He was still griping: ΓÇ£Sheesh! I can't believe that,... she set a loaded firearm on the table!ΓÇ¥ She was done, after that. It is bad enough that she has shooters anxiety, and it was 46 degrees out, she does not need John Rambo running around her critiquing her safety performance. On a cold line after a cease fire, don't leave a weapon loaded, the action should be open and flags in. On a ΓÇ£Hot LineΓÇ¥ if she needs assistance, or has an issue, place the loaded firearm down, with the barrel down range, (Do not pass it to me) and I will handle the malfunction or issue from there. So, he was wrong for that and they lost 2 customers because if it. After reading the reviews, it seems to be a mixed bag of ΓÇ£I love this rangeΓÇ¥ to ΓÇ£The staff are rude and inconsiderate of othersΓÇ¥ among other complaints. Then, as I am walking back to the range area after going to the car, here is Brown Coat hovering over our firearms. Then he is pointing at one of my sisters pistols asking if it is the ΓÇ£Three, Eight, Zero?ΓÇ¥ I said: ΓÇ£no, its a Ruger Max 9.ΓÇ¥ He says: ΓÇ£A Three Eighty?ΓÇ¥ No, Max 9 as in 9 millimeter. His response: ΓÇ£Oh!, okay!ΓÇ¥ yet continues to peruse over our cache of firearms,... poor form. You ask to look closer, not just stick your beak in there 13 inches away. As I am loading up the last bag, I hear Brown Coat check another patron for laying down a loaded pistol on the table while the firing line is hot. Blue Jacket told him: ΓÇ£That's okay when the line is hot.ΓÇ¥ Brown Coat states: ΓÇ£Well accidents happen!ΓÇ¥ and walks away mumbling. No, the only mistake is giving Brown Coat any semblance of power on that range, he will drive business away and prevent repeat business. We won't be back,...

i was going to this range back in the 80s, used to be a real good range friendly people and nice place to shoot. looks like the state shut the rifle range down been down a long time and i dont see it open up anytime soon. the owner used to live at the old house out there, used to drive up pay the lady and go shoot. those good days are gone. i read the reviews on these so called range masters, these guys were never heard of back in the day when this range was a good place to shoot. now there out there screaming at people thinking they are mr tactical, saving everybody from themselves, makes me laugth..

First time going here and had a blast. They accommodated my large family and even had a tutorial for first time shooters. Experienced staff was awesome! Showed my kids about safety and the rules when it comes to firearms. We can't wait to go there again. Thank you

Normally itΓÇÖs a good place to shoot, but they have been getting more disrespectful and out of compliance. Rifle range isnΓÇÖt open due to being non California compliant and they have no intention of getting in compliance. They still charge the same even though half the range is closed. WonΓÇÖt be going back any time soon.

Place is very unorganized, came to sight in a rifle, the rifle range was closed for "construction" but pistol was open. They said they have no idea when it will be open. Garbage.

This place used to be great, but their RSOs and staff in general have all become extremely rude and of low intelligence. For some reason, any facility that is built around guns ALWAYS has some staff/members that act completely pompous, self-righteous, and aggressive to anyone that isn't their idea of a "perfect" shooter. I say all this to say that MSI has gone above and beyond when it comes to employing these types of people. It doesn't help that there doesn't seem to be a COO or anyone who would be in charge of operations or customer relations. Also, their rifle range is closed for the foreseeable future. Don't even think about asking them about when it'll be open unless you want some geriatric with a p*ssed-off attitude to scream at you that they don't know. Since it is now only a handgun range, save your money and go to a local range in your town.

My last two times in this shooting range was bad experience, long range close , Then I asked at the reception what was happening with that closed area if they would open it later or tomorrow and they answered ΓÇ£noΓÇ¥, I asked him again and how about next weekend? "no" they answer in a not friendly way, before this place was great, I don't know what happened, but if you drive here, call before coming and ask for hours and closed areas

I used to go every week when I used to live in manteca I love this place only thing is the 5 second round thing I really hate itΓÇÖs like you canΓÇÖt really practice your target at a high rate of fire I have done rapid fire there before range masters never say anything to unless thereΓÇÖs a senior citizen complaining like always cause they like revolvers and stuff and just stare at you if you fire fast and then complain to the range masters then they will tell you no rapid fire range masters will even give u tips on how to aim and stuff donΓÇÖt blame the range or anything itΓÇÖs the people that go there that make it a big deal other then that those guys are amazing tbh I love that place would be awesome if they had a range for rapid fire for tactical practice would have a lot of new customers if they did wouldnΓÇÖt need to drive far for a blm

It's never too crowded and people are friendly to novices. Rangemasters are always great, people follow the rules. Took the free women's indoor handgun class for women who've never shot before when I was a teen and it was a wonderful experience. My family still comes here to shoot whenever we're in the mood to brush up on skills. I recommend this place often. Someday I'll come to watch a competition, maybe sometime even try competing.

Not crowded no body breathing down your neck. Don't really like the 5 seconds between shots rule but still not a bad range

Bad business. Says 4:30 well they actually decide what hours they feel. Drove 30 minutes for they to be closed. I was well ahead of time! Not cool.
