ItΓÇÖs weird that I see many bad reviews about this place. I have been going to Marks for years and I have never felt ΓÇ£not welcomeΓÇ¥ like one guy said in his review. The owner is almost always the only one working and he is as nice as can be. Never seen anyone get turned away or treated differently. And all the reviews about prices being to high, are all from around the year 2020, and anyone who has been into firearms knows that around 2020 the price of ammo and gun for that matter sky rocketed, because the supply just wasnΓÇÖt there and the demand for ammo was high. I will be honest and say yes the prices on the firearms they sell at marks are high because he deals with quality firearms, and heΓÇÖs running a local business. And no one is making you buy anything. If you think you can find it cheaper then go find it cheaper, but donΓÇÖt get online and try and make other people not want to shop there just because your having a bad day or donΓÇÖt have the money to spend. SMH some people are never happy. IΓÇÖve been going there to use the range for about 7 years now and I love it there. HeΓÇÖs very lenient on your time, hell one time I only paid for 30 mins and I know for a fact I was in there shooting for over an hour. 5 star local gun shop. And the guy knows everything about firearms, and will answer any questions you have about firearms. Support local businesses!!!!

I've been a customer for well over a decade. Taken many of my friends. Never a negative experience. Joe, the manager is a top notch guy. Treats me more like a friend than a patron. Range prices are more than fare for the times. If you are not a novice or unsafe, dumping a mag is not out of the question. Targets are inexpensive. Wide range of ammo at competitive prices. Gun price tags are not etched on stone. Have fun and see what kind of deal you can secure. I love this gunshop, and will continue to introduce shooters to this KY gem!

Perfect range/shop all around. Prices are the best in the area by a long shot. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He's always willing to help with any questions or problems. I enjoy the range here. The employees are nice. One issue... A price tag that is 35% higher than the MSRP on firearms seems a bit excessively. Accordingly they will be rated 3/5 stars for an inability/unwillingness to have competitive prices on firearms..

I really like it here. They don't charge you a arm or leg like most of the big Stores in the area. There much cheaper on ammo and guns. They're range is a little out data but very comfortable, feel Relaxed and laid back. The range doesn't have the fancy air conditioning or heating so you get a more real world experience like if you're on the street. But if you're a pansy Prince Madonna maybe this is not for you.

They have the highest prices in the area. Make sure to check other stores. You can even order off-line pay for shipping and transfer and save yourself money on almost everything in this store.

I don't know how this place has bad reviews, I just got with the owner and it was nothing less than pleasant. Great place to buy a firearm, great place to go to the range. Better than dealing with a big-name retailer. Very nice, very polite, and they don't know me from Adam. Definitely a recommended place to buy a firearm.

Have been a customer of this shop for going on twenty years. Kevin and Joe are great people to deal with. They make you feel welcome and are glad to help you in purchasing a handgun or rifle. Whatever you are looking for in a firearm you need to stop in and see what they have. Might have just what you are looking for especially if you are into the more high end brands of firearms.

We will NEVER be back there. We have dealt with this place for years, bought guns there, ammo etc., and never had a problem until recently. My husband put a gun in layaway and paid $60.00 on it. I went back to pay on it and was told by Joe, he returned it and got a refund. I am like that is weird he would of told me. Come to find out my husband did not return it and did not get a refund. Marks guns did not have any paperwork of us signing a receipt. Go figure it never happened.

Purely luck that I just happened to stumble upon this place, I ended up purchasing a few weapons and I'm very satisfied. Very knowledge with great service, a good selection, fair prices, veterans are appreciated and a nice gun range too! When I'm in the market to buy something else this will definitely be my first stop. On a side note, for those reviewers that cry about ammo prices and left negative feedback obviously don't understand the concept of supply & demand, it's that simple.

called and asked if he had ammo, FMJ for 42$ and hollow point for almost 70! if this isn't a gouge, I don't know what is. The castle pawn in florence has ammo for literally half his cost. I do not recommend.

My husband was needing 9mm ammo and we were having problems finding it. We went to shooters and purchased 2 boxes for about$38. Then thought we would try to find another source. He went into Mark's Guns. Picked up 2 boxes of regular 9mm and 1 box of 9mm hollow point. The man who rang up his purchase was talking to him about another type of ammo we were looking for and some other things. When I looked at my charge account the next day the cost of the 3 boxes of shells was $127. About $43 a box....that us outrageous. Shooter's was $18 a box for the same ammo. We tried to return the ammo and they said "No returns". We will never go back there again or recommend this facility. I understand supply and demand...but do not condone price gouging.

Went into this place and got a cold shoulder. Not being from around this area I didn't know this was the type of place you had to be part of a click to be welcome. Was brushed off and left feeling like I got that "your not welcome her" attitude. To shake your knowledge on who I was - I was asking about AR parts was told I couldn't buy that stuff any longer- I then ask about the "HUNTER" in the case as I have the "JUDGE" and I ask about range times. All summed up I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. I went 4 blocks away and purchased a receiver and was very welcomed. MY neighbor today told me "If yer not part of the "CLICK" don't go in there. Suggest maybe taking the "PUBLIC" sign down!

IΓÇÖve shopped all over for weapons at a good price and available. This place is outstanding with many choices, in stock and at a great price. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Veterans are well respected and taken care of. Comfortable range at great prices.
