Nice range, but gets busy and loud at times.

This is a very well-constructed outdoor range however with one major drawback. The noise pollution due to the design of the canopies creates enormous percussions that even with dual layers of hearing protection, is obtrusive distracting and hazardous. This place needs major acoustical treatment. It is quite honestly very annoying when 8 people are shooting unsuppressed hunting or sporting rifle rounds in close quarters. The concrete shooting benches are some of the best I personally have ever used. They Make for sighting in rifles extremely accurate and stable......... If you can endure the utter discomfort of multiple high level percussions.

Today was my first time and it was absolutely great. As many others have stated I have had only good experiences with people at this range. Everyone was very polite and practiced perfect safety when going out to set/reset targets. I have only gone to the rifle range but it all looked very clean when I looked around. I will definitely return to this range in the near future! It was also a nice scenic drive going in and out.

Looks like a nice range. Was told it had a trap range and got there and it doesn't have one anymore. So if you are hoping for a trap area, it doesn't have that anymore.

Easily the best range around this area. Don't let the the 1 star rating even give you a negative thought about this place. We never have problems here with other shooters like green castle. Mostly hunters, military and cops we run into out here. Great range.

Place is closed even though web site says open.Numerous Numerous people driving to the facility to find its closed. Site Needs to be managed better and communicate with public at large.

Hours posted online show that they are open for business but they are not. Gates are padlocked and signs say the range is closed for the season, but website information says they open March 1. Five guys standing in their parking lot at 1:00 pm on March 1 ready to use the range, but could do nothing but turn around and leave. I drove 1.25 hours to get there just to be let down. It's a nice range but that means nothing if it's unavailable. Why can't I leave them a zero star rating? One star is too high.

Wonderful range.

Professionals go here, not a place for riff-raff or thug wanna-be's. Mostly law enforcemen, prior military, or qualified shooters. Most people clean up after themselves, which is refreshing.

Good range. Trap shooting area for clay pigeons and 50/100/200 yard ranges for handguns and rifles
