A: Hello Lester, we are a training academy, meaning we don't have an open range for people to shoot on their own, but rather we offer about 20 different shooting courses by certified instructors. We offer beginner and advanced courses, which range from learning how to do your first shots with a gun, to more advanced shooting such as drawing, moving, and rapid firing on the move. A: Hi Mike, thanks for your interest and question. You have to be at least over 18 years of age, and we do rent firearms, but only for our courses such as our 14 hour intensive concealed carry clinic, or our NRA instructor courses. We also teach concealed carry license classes and do private firearms training. If you are interested in those programs, you can call us and we would be glad to go over them in more detail. This is not a range, it is a training facility with classrooms, and we do shooting off site at other locations. Thanks.

Q: Can I take an introductory lesson on gun safety? What are the requirements?
A: Hi, thanks for contacting us about this. Yes, you can definitely take an introductory lesson on gun safety. We offer a concealed carry permit class that covers exactly that. The first hour covers basic/introductory gun safety and gun basics such as how to unload and make a gun safe, the five fundamentals, the 3 major gun safety rules, causes of firearms accidents, etc. The second hour covers all the Florida gun laws that you should know before responsibly owning a gun. As of now, we teach the class Mondays at 6pm and Saturdays at 10am, but schedule is subject to change. When demand increases we run the class 4 times a week. I advise you call us to confirm the schedule and reserve your spot for an upcoming class. Thanks.

What a great class! Marcos was thorough and clear in his instructions, funny and made everyone feel very comfortable. IΓÇÖve been wanting to take a shooting / weapon safety class for some time but truthfully was a little afraid. Marcos made all the difference and now feel very comfortable with a weapon. I highly recommend this class for women and anyone new to shooting.

Rude staff, called on 11/14 at 7:30pm to request general information about firearms and their use, the lady that was operating the line did not even let me finish what I was trying to say without cutting me and interrupting my sentences. Not helpful at all.

I took the NRA personal defense in the home instructor course this past weekend august 3/4 . This is the second time that I take a course with them and I can only say one thing This place is awesome, we had a fantastic group of people in the class but the star of the show was the instructor Kevin Perez what a professional and knowledgeable guy he is , he thought all of us the same lesson but each of us had different abilities and he found ways to present the principles in a way we could all participate . Overall I highly recommend them if you are into the shooting sports or want to learn the basics . Give them a call you wonΓÇÖt regret it .

My first time interacting with any kind of firearm was a safety class this week with Marcos. The quality of instruction was so high- he helped us understand the basic engineering of a gun and covered safety principles, loading, aiming, and shooting. One thing I really appreciated was how hands on each component was- Marcos didnΓÇÖt just explain things but had us repeat the motions until we developed some confidence. Despite how politically contentious gun ownership can be, I think itΓÇÖs important for everyone (gun owner or not) to have a grasp of the basics. Our morning at Miami Shooters Club truly helpful and memorable! WeΓÇÖll definitely be back.
