1st time ever going here walked in was never greeted the worker didn't even make eye contact when i was asking questions they make you pay for their ammo to use their range at least that was the spill i got from the fudd behind the counter not a inviting atmosphere at all

This place is a great asset for everyone here in Menard county! I wish I had more available time to come in more often! It is awesome to have such a great range so close by, easily accessible and great staff!! Very affordable and so nice on bad weather days to be able to shoot inside!! Hope to be able to make it in again soon! Highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for a new gun, ammo, or if you just want to get out and do some target shooting. This place is great!

Was refused a range rental as I brought a coworker under 21 (he was 20) to learn to shoot my handgun. I was told they do not allow non family members/relatives under 21 to shoot anything besides long guns as the ATF deemed him a minor. It is their range and their rules, so I understand, but it was disappointing to hear we'd have to wait for his birthday to use this range. We'll visit again eventually!

Our first time going was met with ease by kind staff and other customers. The initial paperwork was simple and we were quickly in a lane. Prices are great, we will definitely be returning!

First time visit to the range today and I'll definitely be back. In my opinion, the best range in the area BY FAR. The facility is clean and comfortable. The firing lanes are well lit with standard firing distances well marked. The staff is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Overall, a great experience...thank you!

Family owned business and some of the nicest people IΓÇÖve ever known. Travis is a great teacher (incredible knowledge) and will help you get your CCL. Range design is different from other ranges (concrete walls). Decent selection of firearms and accessories. I recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a firearm or get their CCL certification.

I recently completed a concealed carry course with Travis at MTM Arms, and I cannot speak highly enough of his abilities as an instructor. His expertise and knowledge of firearms is matched only by his enthusiasm and passion for teaching others. Travis took the time to ensure that every student in the class felt comfortable and confident with the material, and his hands-on approach made all the difference in my learning experience. Not only was he an excellent concealed carry instructor, but his expertise in the field of firearms and self-defense made the course a truly valuable experience. And let's not forget about MTM Arms, the facilities and amenities provided were top-notch and made for an overall fantastic experience. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Travis and MTM Arms to anyone looking to become more knowledgeable and proficient with firearms.

No one is making a review of your business for no reason. I've been to your range a couple times and had a terrible experience. I got a much different customer service from when I was buying a pistol than when I came to just shoot. I don't like your range and I wouldn't recommend it. My experience here was bad enough to write a review so take that for what you will.

Friendly family owned business. Range and shop are clean and well kept. Range is also modern and not dated with lanes well lit and marked. Front counter is a spacious area with seating and a TV. Mark is always willing to help with product info or just small talk with his customers 😃

I just took my conceal carry class and Travis did an amazing job teaching this class. If you are considering taking a conceal carry class go to MTM you will not be disappointed.

Travis and his family at MTM Firearms in Athens are incredible! Highly recommended to anyone wanting to learn more about fire arms, training and conceal carry certification. He made a 16 hour class feel like a 3 hour class. Professional and good humor. Thanks so much for a great experience!

Very nice place, very helpful friendly staff. I have enjoyed going in and looking around. Bought a pistol there today can't wait to pick it up. Really need to get in here and try out the range, im sure its great as well. Will be alot easier and more convenient than having to get a bunch of targets drug out and set up at home, plus when its too cold like now or too hot in the summer! Very glad I decided to check this place out. Thanks guys!

My wife and I went today and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. The place is very clean, service was fantastic, and the prices are very good. I was able to shoot my AR after purchasing their ammo, but you can shoot your own pistol ammo.
