Had a great experience at Nick's. Professional range officers that were professional, competent, and focused of safety above all. Range officer Daryl assisted me with zeroing my rifle and was helpful with spotting. Definitely recommend

First time to shoot on this range and I see why they call it satisfying. Staffs are very accommodating specially our range safety officer Mr Donald. Thank you sir. For sure this will not be my last visit here. Highly recommend.

IΓÇÖm not usually one for reviews but after leaving this place today I can say itΓÇÖs worth it. This place is by far the best locally you can go to! Everything from knowledge and safety to just outright a good time and place to unload rounds. I came with my sister and parents today and we are new to outdoor ranges and learning their protocols. One thing I learned aside from range education is if you give respect you get it right back. I wish people would realize and understand that the strict and stern rules is to make sure you make it back home safe ΓÇ£with the same holes you came withΓÇ¥. They arenΓÇÖt being ΓÇ£rudeΓÇ¥ or ΓÇ£talking to you like you are a childΓÇ¥ they are caring for your safety and thatΓÇÖs number one priority always with guns. If you canΓÇÖt handle that in my opinion then you shouldnΓÇÖt shoot. Mr.pete and Mr.donald were more than helpful and knew their stuff thatΓÇÖs for sure and never one time turned away questions or help we mightΓÇÖve needed, even gave my sister a 2 hour lesson because he wanted to. Being new there after my first day I can say IΓÇÖll be back any weekend I get a chance to practice! Great place and great business!

If you don't have experience, it's usually best not to ask for help in this area because you might get bad advice. Recently, I wanted to make sure my gifted rifle and scope were set up correctly. Unfortunately, the person helping me looked at the wrong target and kept saying I wasn't hitting the center of the paper, even though someone nearby confirmed I was. Because of this, they had me get my rifle re-bore sighted twice. We also checked the scope, which was tight before tight before I left home and before the second bore sight,but then the technician said it was loose and suggested I pay to have it remounted. At the end of the day, I just spent $80 ,to make my rifle completely out of sight and not ready for hunting. As a beginner trying to learn about scopes, I'm really disappointed with this experience.

First of all me and my husband was referred there I would not visit this place again if it was for free the guy is very rude he was yelling at grown men like they were his kids which was very rude and unprofessional he was huffing and puffing throwing a fit with a cigarette in his mouth we was only there for 10 minutes I would never never ever visit again

I love the staff, including the ROs. 100 yards may seem short to some but adequate for me and 90% of the deer hunters in South Louisiana.

Some of the people in there are professional 100% but the one older bald guy was rude and talking to me as if I a one of his kids, mind you I was already a little uncomfortable because thereΓÇÖs a sticker on the inside tier says ΓÇ£coloreds donΓÇÖt deserve weaponsΓÇ¥ or something along those lines. As a legal black gun owner itΓÇÖs overwhelming and uncomfortable having an older white man that comes off as prejudice yelling at you while youΓÇÖre firing a weapon. As long as that man is there I donΓÇÖt recommend that firing range to no one. We were following the rules, one second between shots and made sure all weapons were clear before proceeding with anything

Nick's is great for plinking and practicing. I've been there numerous times and I have never had a bad experience. One stop shop for your shooting needs.

Really great range for rifles and pistols. I love the two seated stalls so one can shoot and one can spot. The range masters have always been very friendly and give good advice. I have always had a good experience here.

In my opinion the best shooting range around not because they have a great shop on site and not because of the perfect outdoor range because the instructors were awesome. I bought a new sight and they put it on for me and helped me zero it in and in the process one of the instructors helped me and my girlfriend shoot more proficiently and gave lots of helpful pointers. He was nice enough to basically give us a full course on shooting for free which was much appreciated since we are new to the gun game. If u want to go somewhere where you can be comfortable and feel like your with family this is the place.

Today, my friend and I headed down from New Orleans to check out this outdoor range. Honestly, it's top-notch ΓÇô super organized, friendly vibes, and the prices are just right. All the range officers were awesome. Hats off to Scotty, he was something else, really went the extra mile to make sure we had a safe and we had a positive experience. My buddy from Brooklyn, I havenΓÇÖt seen in a year weΓÇÖre able to create an unforgettable time. I'm definitely planning more visits. You guys are doing a fantastic job. Damn good spot!

Great outdoor range with full coverage over the shooting area for you and your gear. We mostly stick the the 100 yard side. Yt we have been wanted to do the short pistols side. They have the frames / stands for you to bring your targets down range and they keep a range master on site they keeps things safe. Also really like the full different color lights for hot and cold range. Wish we could go more than a handful of times a year.

Overall I had a good experience except for one of the Range Officer. The guy with the bald head was behaving very unprofessionally. He was yelling, and speaking to me as if I was a child. I get you have to maintain safety but there is a way in which to communicate that without being aggressive and speaking down to people. The black guy conveyed the same message but in a more professional manner. No need for all of that when people are trying to come out to have fun. Makes me not want to return, it's very stressful to have someone acting like that when you are firing a weapon. Then he lights up a cigarette as if that's a safe thing to do around ammo.

Range is outdoor. 20$ a day for the whole day or 100$ for the whole year (worth it by the way). They have ammo even 10mm available which seems to be difficult to find and a very great selection of firearms for sale. I forgot the guys name but they Sighted my AR15 and fixed it, and some dude named Tony even let me use one of his pro mags for my AR15 since the cheap metal ones I had were pretty awful. Everyone is really nice and helpful and SAFETY is their number 1 priority.

Came here today (first time and new-ish to the AR platform). I canΓÇÖt say enough about the professionalism and service-oriented nature of the range officers. Lots of clear, concise directions and gave me some tips on how to operate my new AR a bit more efficiently and correctly.

Very friendly and helpful people, plenty of shooting time in a safe environment. RSO Pete was especially helpful to us, and we enjoyed meeting Mr. Brown, the cat who seems to think he owns the place. The only thing I can think of to improve would be to add a real bathroom on the outside of the building or at least a real sink to wash up after shooting. We'll be back!
