I really enjoy this range and would give it five stars except for the fact that there are days when the range gets closed arbitrarily with no notice. I don't know why this happens. The folks at the police department who issue the permits are very friendly and helpful but be aware that you must have exact change when paying the annual fee.

Its a nice range and the staff are friendly but it is difficult to get information on if not in person. They say it is open dusk until dawn except on Thursday mornings but they close for random times related to the hunting seasons for multiple weeks and they provide none of this information when getting the membership and to my knowledge it is not posted anywhere so you end up making plans and wasting gas. How hard would it to be to put this information on the membership paper? I would say call before you drive out but you probably will still be listening to the menu options or waiting to speak to someone by the time you would get there.

Just started shooting here. It's a pretty nice range. If you don't know, you have to go to the Norris police station to get your membership there, $75 fee. 2 pistol ranges and a rifle range from 50-200yds. If you need a cold range, speak up. (Literally)

Overall a wonderful range that is secluded. It's definitely the best unsupervised range and it's not super busy. You can also shoot a 50BMG up there, which is a big plus!

Out of the way shooting range. Concrete shooting tables are stable and no crowds today. Enjoyed myself a great deal. Norris Police department (where you go to pay annual dues & get access) was very courteous and helpful. Definitely planning to go back.

Live close. Get tired of hearing it all of the time. Wish it was still a secret.

Range is nice, goes out to 200 yards. The road leading to the range is gravel, and it is fairly steep going up to the parking area from the road. Overall a nice range, but be careful driving there.

50 dollars a year for full access. You can't beat it. 2 pistol ranges and 50, 100, and 200 yd rifle ranges. It's no secret anymore, and it's crowded on the weekends.
