A: They just changed the rules for shooting inside. Because of some bad behavior they made it that you have to be a member to shoot in the pistol range.

A: No you don't have to be a member but there is extra cost for non-members.

We just moved to Grand Haven a few weeks ago. While we were moving our belongings into our new home I heard what sounded like skeet shooting. So I Googled gun range near me. Low and behold the North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club established in 1921 is 2.1 miles from our new home! I stopped by today and met up with the VP of the club. He showed me around and introduced me to some of the members, it looks like great facility and nice people. I will be joining the club if they will have me.

Small range. Has an indoor pistol range. Rifle range is not open at this time. Trap range is open. Snacks are available for purchase. People and staff are very friendly and willing to help in any way

Great local club with awesome volunteers who take pride in making the experience fun and challenging. IΓÇÖve been a member for 3 years and plan to renew again.

Nice club house. Not very busy but the shooters that were there where very nice. Would visit again.

Instructor that doesn't calmly explain what you're doing wrong but instead stands next to you screaming instructions in your ear while you're shooting when you've stated you're a beginner is not a good instructor in my opinion. Perhaps they need to make it clear before you pay $150 that you must have previous experience. Amatuers do not apply! Also, stated in their paperwork to sign up that they supply pistols and 100 rounds of ammunition but, when you get there, change the rules. I do not recommend NORGC and it's too bad, my father was a past President.
