A: No
- John Smith (a year ago)

A: You do not need to present ID to use the range, however it's always a good idea to have ID on your person when in public.

Q: how do you get to set up your own targets at this range?
A: There is no Range Safety Officer. Once someone asks, everyone agrees on "cold range" and you walk out and tape or staple your target to the frame. Once everyone is done everyone agrees on "hot range". Yes I have read of problems here, never seen them myself.
- Larry Cook (a year ago)
A: Range supplies frames free, shooter provides own targets. Like most outdoor ranges, expect Range Manager must call 'Range cold' to set targets.
- Stan Sugrue (2 years ago)
Q: Are Shot guns and AR's allowed?
A: Yes, there is also dedicated clay throw area for shotguns, mostly people leave their thrower there too so sometimes all you need is some clay.
- M Chetin (99nouns) (4 years ago)
Q: Is this open on the Fourth of July?
A: Usually close for part of the day on Wednesday for maintenance, but I think they did it yesterday because of the 4th
- Tara Ritz (6 years ago)
A: Probably
- Ryan F (6 years ago)
Q: Does the range still have limited shooting lanes due to COVID?
A: All lanes are open now.
- Charlie cross (3 years ago)
Q: Are black powder guns allowed.
A: The only places I've seen where black powder is prohibited is at an indoor range due to the confined space and fire hazard.
- X02AC3 (3 years ago)
Q: Who decides when the range is hot or cold?
A: Usually every 15-30 minutes, someone will decide it is time to call cold range. They will verbally announce it and everyone will render their weapons safe, leave them on the firing table and stay behind the white line until everyone is back to a safe position. Then hot range is called.
- THE REAL DIRTY DAN (4 years ago)
A: This range is not supervised, hot and cold range state is controlled by agreement of shooters. It works fine. Should you prefer, there are both private and public ranges around. I don't know where you are but the range in Daytona Beach is particularly nice, clean and ran in an extremely professional maner.
- Larry Cook (a year ago)
A: Their is a park manager their & they are strick with the rules are posted on the website

Your tax money at work. Not bad for a free range. I would like to have a ranger on site.

No frills but the price is right! People that go are the best! Been twice with my son and nephew and everyone is so helpful! I also find this range to be the safest I have been around due to the shooters being their own range masters.

Driving this range several times and has been busy each time. The range does offer PVC holes as variables distances to place target stands which is nice. Lots of brass and trash around the range and range booth

I give it a 3 stars because we went out on a Tuesday and it was packed 7 person deep as wide as they had space. They were packed in there like sardines! No way to even have a chance at firing for at least 3 hours. I left without waiting! 1 hour drive one way to see it and turn around. I'll redo my review once I'm able to experience the shooting range. It is open to public and free so that's the 3 stars. Until I redo this review.....

I've only been to the range twice and it's pretty straightforward. I like it. Be mindful of the casings that litter the ground of the range though not a lot of people actually pick theirs up. All in all it's a friendly place to go for target practice.

It's free bring your own target and suggestion is to bring some 1x2s as well so far everyone has been super friendly and respectful at this range.

Nice range, but very crowded (Monday 11am). Rule says it's one-hour if people are waiting, but people don't care about the rules and lots of rapid fire. You will get flagged by someone, so always be aware of others. Bring your own target.

Great outdoor range, you need to ensure you are watching others as there isnΓÇÖt a range master. Pistols and rifles as well as a clay shooting area.

Showed up with 2 other NRA instructors / RSOs when before we stepped out of the truck we see a woman with a very small child sitting on a bench. Someone 5 feet away uncasing a rifle off the same bench and pointing it in her immediate direction. Without Range Safety Officers to supervise your best to avoid this range or wear your AR500 plates and roll the dice!

Went by the range about 9 am on Wednesday. Its supposedly closed until 2pm. The gate was closed but there were still 4-5 vehicles inside with people using the range. Who do I see to get private access like them?? 😂😂

Can't complain, there's always someone who doesn't know shit about gun safety, and also there's always one who will try to give people rules that he just made on his mind but other than that the rest of shooters are great people, respectful and courteous.

Update: It's unmanned, meaning there is no safety officer. There are new rules posted. Everyone is expected to be safe and respectful. The grounds guy showed up on a Monday. Im going to say because they got emails the night before because of the weekend, mainly Sunday, which I hear got pretty wild. Anyway, couple of people are mad about him doing his job, meanwhile they were shooting at targets that were maybe 1 ft high. Smh. So we are just going to pretend that those bullets can't hit those crosswalks and ricochet back. Their argument was that coyotes, rabbits, and deer aren't as high as the mandatory target height. LOL. smh Cold Range, people walking down the range to put up targets and people still handling their gun or on the wrong side of the yellow line. I've been here a few times. I had no issues. To say that it's unmanned, everyone I've seen is safety conscious, friendly, and helpful. Okay, a couple of times, there were a couple of safety issues, but the regulars/vet's will politely offer some help/advice. P.S. When the range is cold and people are down range, no one should be touching their guns and/or pass the yellow safety line.

Really no way to be safe on this range. Showed up today and was flagged 3 times before I even exited the vehicle. Not to mention on a good day you get lectured by the volunteer that replaces targets for over 30 to 45 minutes eating any time you had to shoot and have to leave anyways. Get a Range Master. The cameras don't help.

This is a good public shooting range. It can be busy at times. The only down side I can say about the day I visited was there was no broom or dustpan to clean up the brass. Also the restroom on the LHS did not lock. Everybody out there was following cold and hot range rules.
