Odom Shooting Range

Q: How busy is this range typically?
A: It's not bad every time we have gone
- Kelley Bissonnette (4 years ago)
A: Every time I've been there has been stations open on the pistol and rifle range.
- Jerry Parker (4 years ago)
Q: Is the range open for bows?
A: Yes they are
- Mechelle Otten (4 years ago)
Q: How much does it cost.
A: It's free. Just need to sit through a safety course on an ipad for 5 min. The gps is gonna take you to the prison. Follow signs when you're really close to the prison to avoid coming to a dead end. This place is awesome.

Nice and secluded. Very helpful, professional and friendly staff. Only thing is itΓÇÖs outside so youΓÇÖll need to dress for the weather.

Range is very organized and staff is very experienced. It was a complete pleasure to work with staff and send some lead down range!

Free shooting range, not much more you can ask for. 30 yard short range and 100 yard long range. Just bring your targets, gun and ammo. Hearing and eye protection required of course. The place was very clean, professional and friendly staff, I'll definitely be returning in the future.

This place was clean! It is off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Great setup. Both of the RSOs I have met are helpful and knowledgeable.

Odom works for me, it's a drive from my area to get there. I like the area and the weather was perfect. I'd go there again just for the peaceful atmosphere. Be prepared to pack a lot of shooting supplies because it is in the middle of the country and it's best if you pack a lunch. I spent a few hours there on both the rifle and the pistol ranges. Thank you for reading.

Nice range. Shorter range for pistol and small stuff. Longer for anything under .50 cal. Archery range as well. Free to use. Just bring your own ammo and paper targets.

We had a great time. Awesome place. Remember that you need to bring all your own stuff. They don't sell ammo or tagets

I recently visited the Odom shooting range, located in Jackson N.C. Very nice setup, I am concerned about the pistol range over hang and the inclosed shooting lanes with all the wooden post in front, left and right of the firing lanes.
