Questions & Answers

Q: Few questions. Can only join if a NRA member, and why is that? How much are member fees, since it's not posted on the website? And how many yards is the rifle range? Does the membership cover a married couple or is it one membership per person?

A: The OKC gun club is an NRA affiliated club. It supports the NRA and the NRA supports us. In 2022 there was an initiation fee of $100 and an annual fee of $209 plus tax ($313.50 total), both due at the time of orientation. If you participate in a work day you can earn a reduction of the annual dues. The reduction for a work day is something like $100. Only one work day per year is accepted for discount. The discount is applied the following year. You will pay the full amount your first year of membership. Spousal membership fees are $25 plus tax ($26.12 total). The spouse must also be an NRA member and attend the club orientation.

Q: Whats the longest range yall have?

A: We shot a match there last month, it goes out to 600 yards at this time, it is expanding to 1,000 yards Very Soon ! Im thinking seriously about joining even though we live in Arkansas. This group of guys are some Awesome folks and more than accommodating and want to help everyone improve their skills. There are some World Class Shooters here Literally... I think 3-4 of them shoot on the US Rifle Team .

A: Shooting hrs are sunup to sundown.

A: Gunslinger, they are pretty much open during the day but be advised this is a membership required club. Mind you this is a fairly large range with a lot of activity so catching someone in the office may be difficult.

- Bob Mowles (6 years ago)

A: Ok then what are the office hours i called 6 different numbers and none answered

Q: (Translated by Google) I would like to know the requirements for shooting at the location and when is the entrance fee? (Original) Quisiera saber los requisitos que piden para disparar en el lugar y cuando es el costo de la entrada?

A: It is a private gun club.

- Joe Blow (10 months ago)

Q: Is there a lane fee to shoot here.

A: There is no lane fee but membership is required. Many competitions are open to the public and do not require membership. They may require membership in the NRA or other sponsoring organization. Contact the individual division heads for details.

The archery range here is one of the best in the country. I have been to many from coast to coast and this one takes the cake. Brad and Rob run it so well and the range MASTER Aaron Roberts is one of the very best at setting a great course. They host many tournaments during the season and are always helpful with new people.

I was a member. One of the board members acted 100% like he was some God. Pull through the gate and just buzz on without acknowledging 'hi.', I'll close that. Bottom line, I participated about 9 months and enjoyed the nice facilities. But I own teal land, and I figured out he was a jerk because most of the Board were. Hey. I just left.

This is a private club and is one of the best in the nation. Many different ranges for just about every shooting discipline including archery.

Love this gun club! I come every year for Land Run, the National Championships of Cowboy Action Shooting. The support that the whole gun club provides to the Cowboy action side is nothing short of impressive. You can tell that the leadership of OKC Gun Club is healthy and strong. ItΓÇÖs shows everywhere. Thank you for providing such a magnificent venue for such a wonderful Event!

Amazing group of people who always help with safety and share knowledge! We need to keep more people informed about firearms. I wish I could teach classes about safety since iΓÇÖm on disability and have the time. Just not sure how to start! But this is one of the most amazing communities youΓÇÖll ever be a part of if you decide to join, TRUELY!! So please do and reference me if you want to join if you donΓÇÖt mind. Photos and videos to come after next trip

Bring a table or put your gun on the ground! I like this place, but hate that they arenΓÇÖt consistent with tables at the stages. WhatΓÇÖs up with that??? TheyΓÇÖre sanctioned events, and a ton of people show, so why no tables for our equipment that costs a ton of money??? Make it better, buy tables!

Incomperable to anything in the area. The cost is worth it and the option of work days make it more affordable. Friendly crowd and always willing to help new members. They facilitate nearly every shooting sport. The only thing they don't have is sporting clays. Carry water and food with you when you come out. I would recommend anyone interested in shooting to become a member
