My husband and I were so impressed with this course and all of the staff involved! From signing up for the course, to the class room instruction, to the firing range everyone was so knowledgeable. I had previously never fired a gun at all and they made me feel totally comfortable. Totally worth the time investment! Highly recommend!

I attended the pistol training course required by New York State to carry a pistol. I was very impressed by the knowledge and experience of the instructorΓÇÖs. Safety was priority#1, I learned a lot of interesting things. I was thankful for the patience of the instructors. They took their time to make sure everyone got comfortable and learned how to properly handle a firearm. The course brings you up-to-date on all the current laws of the state. The range is beautiful, modern, state of the art facility.I would recommend this course to anyone interested in safety and learning about how to acquire a pistol permit. ItΓÇÖs a beautiful range to shoot the guns and they sell some beautiful weapons. Thanks for sharing your expertise. 10 out of 10

I just completed the 18 hour NYS required course for a pistol permit at On Target, and I highly recommend them for this course. The owner, Corey, his staff and our course instructor were all professional, informative and made the course as entertaining as it can be. Brian was our instructor and heΓÇÖs a phenomenal teacher, and every staff member that we interacted with over the two days were so knowledgeable and happy to engage with us and answer any questions we had. I strongly recommend this location both for the classes they offer as well as the great shooting range thatΓÇÖs on site.

The class I recently took was great! I learned everything I needed know for my application for a pistol permit. The owner insured me that they teach every skill level, and being a beginner was no problem. I am empowered to continue learning with them, until I am comfortable enough to carry the weapon I choose, when I choose one. Thank you Cory, Brian and staff!

I was not looking forward to having to take the 18-hour NYS mandated pistol course; however, IΓÇÖm glad I chose to take it here. The primary instructor, Brian, was great. Super knowledgeable and made the instruction engaging and fun. The owner, Corey was professional, answered everyoneΓÇÖs questions and his facility is top-notch. IΓÇÖd highly recommend On Target Firearms.

I am incredibly impressed with the people and the facility here. I just finished my NYS mandated course for my pistol permit, and as a first time shooter they made the experience really great! Brian is super knowledgeable and Corey is so nice and helpful! I have honestly never checked the clock less during a class than this one. They exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend going here. The facility is clean and the staff are so nice. I cannot wait to go back once I get my pistol permit to come back and practice!

I just recently did my fire arm safety class here & I have to say they are amazing . I have never shot a gun before & my anxiety went through the roof when it was time to do so but my instructor, the owner of this business held my hand (LITERALLY) To help me be familiar and feel safe with this tool I was about to use.

During the Firearms Training Course, everyone was so kind and helping, the instructor was very professional and kindly listening to all inquiries, the owner as well. Very friendly, informative and safe. The place is clean and spacious as well. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

I could not be more pleased with my experience at On Target. I am new to shooting and I just earned my conceal carry permit. They recommended I take their safety course and it was extremely helpful. It helped reinforce safety and the fundamentals. The instructor Doug was very professional and knowledgeable. As a woman, I appreciate the fact that they respected and encouraged me and never talked down to me. I also appreciate the professional, no nonsense atmosphere at this range. Safety is their number one concern….as it should be. They are serious professionals with extensive experience and knowledge. If you are looking for a professional, knowledgeable and safe range, On Target is the place!

On Target Firearms is a great place! I am in the process of getting my pistol permit and I picked On Target for the 18-Hour Course and it was phenomenal. Led by a 30 year RPD officer and Firearms Trainer, I definitely learned a lot and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to get their permit, or even just shoot on a nice, clean indoor range!

Great shop and range! Staff is always very very nice and very informative! It is tough to find a Gun shop with employees that do not mind novice shooters and buyers asking questions. They do not mind at all and answer all of the questions with a smile!

I've spent thousands of hours target shooting on many different indoor and outdoor ranges over the past 65 years or so and I can't praise On Target Firearms enough. The facility is clean and well maintained and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable. I've been to some ranges where I've not felt safe but not so here. Lighting and ventilation are top notch and the shooting range is monitored by several cameras and the staff is always vigilant. Thank you Cory and your terrific employees!!!

Came here for my 16 hour pistol permit class yesterday and today. I would recommend them to anyone that is wanting to get their permit or even a one on one lesson. Brian was outstanding!! explaining and teaching and making everyone feel comfortable was awesome.They all have law enforcement backgrounds and years of teaching at police academies. For the money that you have to pay is by far the cheapest around. I know I will be returning and sending any of my family and friends there! Highly highly recommended. If I could give it a 10 star I would

Came here for my 16 hrs concealed carry course, I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs this course. The staff were so nice, the instructor made the class interactive and enjoyable. Overall I felt very comfortable with the whole experience. I will be coming back for 1 on 1 lessons once I get my permit.

Recently took a NYS mandated course here and even though the course was a long one, the instructor, Brian, made it enjoyable and very helpful. All the employees we got to speak with throughout the weekend were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The facility itself was great too and we look forward to enjoying the range in the future.

I just took the 18 hour pistol permit class with Brian and am so glad I did. I was very nervous about this as I've never held a gun before. He alleviated those feelings and made the course very enjoyable. On Targets staff are very courteous and helpful and I can't wait to come back!

First time going to this range today. The staff members were great, the facility was clean and the ventilation in the range was excellent. There was a good selection of targets to choose from and prices were very reasonable. $18 plus $9 for a second person to share a lane. I will definitely be back.

Great staff and enjoy knowing that many of the rules are explained as you check in. If everyone is on the same page, it makes for a safe environment. Knowledgeable staff at the sales counter as well.

I think the facility is great but some of the staff aren't really accommodating or friendly. It's easy for 1 of 3 employees to really put a damper on the experience. Typical of the gun industry, everyone is an expert and knows more, even without gauging the level or experience of the person they're talking to. Quite condescending and patronizing. I think it's industry wide, however. As convenient as the location is, I'd rather go out of my way than deal with arrogance. One older gentleman and lady were quite nice, though.
