First time here. Tori, Joshua, AB and Lou were awesome in helping us with all our questions, needs and more. Tori was great at setting us up with the Onpoint 6 pack, Joshua was very informative with the Blue Gun Safety as well walking us to our lane and making sure that we understood our guns and weΓÇÖre loading them properly and how everything worked. AB and Lou were great making sure to answer any questions or concerns as well as there for safety and guidance. Staff was great, really knowledgeable and helpful.

My first experience at On Point was definitely not what I expected. As a female, I was a bit intimidated going in, but I really had nothing to worry about. The staff was super friendly and the facility is clean and safe. Shout out to Charles and Lou! We've been back several times and got a membership so we are there almost every weekend now. If you're not shooting at On Point, you're missing out! Update: Y'all, check out this sexy new rental wall! 😍

This is by far my favorite indoor range in the triangle. Beautiful facility and the staff are all great. Big shoutout to AB and Lou, who are always helpful. Absolutely fantastic staff here and we had a great time. It had been a long time since either my wife or I had shot and was a little nervous never having been to an actual indoor range. It was nice to have help understanding how to use the firearms properly and lane functionality and I appreciated the emphasis on safety. Will absolutely be reserving another lane next time we're in Raleigh.

I found OnPoint through a Map search, and due to location, reviews, and the ease of use of their website, decided to give them a try. The facilities are top notch and everyone working at the range is very friendly and knowledgeable. The lanes are updated and kept clean and clear. The range times can easily be reserved online or through the app and I have never had to wait for a lane when arriving. They also have a nice selection of firearms to rent, whether you are without one of your own, or looking to add to your collection. After returning to the range a couple times, with consistently positive experiences, I decided I wanted to sign up for a training session. Lou Muccio reached out quickly that same day and we scheduled our first lesson. Lou was very engaging right from the jump, starting things off by sharing some background on his experience with shooting and teaching style, as well as asking information on my history and learning style to better assess a starting point and strategy. Based on this he set clear and measurable goals for us to focus on leading us to move through our first session efficiently and productively. Before long he had me shooting in tight and consistent groupings. From there he walked me through additional drills and provided information on how to assess my performance when practicing on my own time to maximize results. Lou's expertise is apparent and he is an extremely adaptive, instructor, able to provide expanded or simplified information and feedback, depending on how you are able to best process the topic or technique at hand. This allows for maximizing the time to build upon successes, but also throttle down for more technical aspects when needed. His instruction also translates to solo range time, as I was able to reliably apply the principles and techniques Lou teaches in his sessions, and run through drills on my own in a productive vs regressive manner. If you are looking for a top tier range in the area you cannot go wrong with OnPoint! If you are looking for an instructor to take you to the edge of your current knowledge and capabilities and learn to effectively expand and hone those skills, I could not recommend Lou Maccio enough! I'm looking forward to my upcoming 3rd session with him!

I had an amazing first experience at OnPoint, thanks to Tori! She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, making me feel comfortable and confident at the range. Feels nice to have options other than Triangle Shooting Academy, where they overcharge you on everything. OnPoint has more to offer than any other range Iv been to and is more accommodating. Not to mention how friendly the staff is. I canΓÇÖt wait to see what OnPoint adds in the futureΓÇöworth every penny.

Wonderful experience!! Range Officer was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful working with my wife with instructions/teaching. This was the very first time she had been to a range and only her third time firing a weapon. I found all the staff we interacted with to be friendly, helpful, and respectful. I was in Raleigh on business and dropped in with a friend for an evening shoot. The service and facilities were excellent and would thoroughly recommend a visit. The only downside is that I live in the UK so cannot spend more time here.

James taught me what I needed to know when handling and firing a firearm for the first time. He taught well and was very fun with it too. It made everything a lot less nerve-wracking and I couldn't have had a better experience using a firearm. I chose the Glock 19 as my first and it went smooth from there. He let me take my time holding one properly, figuring a good stance, shooting it at various ranges, and loading it. Though he was on the job, you could tell it's one of his passions. He talked a lot about what he knew about guns and it just felt like any other hobby. AJ was also being really informative on how to put my foot into guns and where to start off if I ever felt like purchasing one for myself. Such a great experience thanks to James and AJ. Glad to have people like them in Raleigh.

Great range, helpful staff always. Private lessons have been great - both complete & comprehensive & I have learned the proper use of a firearm & am becoming very proficient in my skills. I had a great and fantastic time here with my fiancé during a private session with Lou. My fiancé is new to guns and was anxious holding and firing a gun. Lou was very understanding of this. Lou being there teaching and showing her the fundamentals of shooting and safety helped her to relax and have a fun time! During this time Lou was also able to help me work on improving my grip which definitely improve my shooting. We will definitely set up another session in the future!

Absolutely love this range! All of the staff have been so kind and helpful, and the environment is super friendly! It’s been my first time ever shooting, and my fiancé has been getting back into it, so we took a private instructor course to get some pointers and help. We had Lou as our instructor and he was fantastic! So fun to work with and great with explaining concepts in a way that makes sense to both those with experience and without! He was very patient with me being nervous at first and set a very structured learning plan for us for that session and those going forward. All around great guy and we will definitly be taking more private instruction classes with him!

Had a great time at OnPoint in Raleigh. I was in town on business with some time to kill. I called the team at OnPoint and asked if they had an instructor who can spend an hour with me. They immediately set me up with Lou who was extremely flexible and easy to coordinate with. The facility is gorgeous, clean, state of the art. The lanes fit two per which made working with my instructor a pleasure. Lou was knowledgeable and interactive with his lesson. We worked on fundamentals and he was very helpful in improving my skills. I canΓÇÖt wait to get back here next time IΓÇÖm in town. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is a beginner or an experienced shooter. It is a welcoming place for all.

My wife and I were visiting from NY. I was very ready, willing and able to shoot but my wife was resistant. JAMES, made all the difference. He was kind, patient, informative and most of all funny.
