Osceola Shooting Range

Went for my first time today. Was alsoy first time shooting by myself. I put about 100 rounds through each of my handguns and about 200 through my new AR. It was really chill. The RSO was very nice and respectful. Even when I shot a little fast at the end, he just politely asked me to slow her down a bit. Will definitely return with my family soon

I love going to this range with it being out doors I really get to take my time and dial in my shots. I'm not rush by range time per lane. If you're are a fan of outdoor shooting this is a great starting point.

You can only blast here like a gentleman. They only do olympic style shooting here and restrict you from blasting like you're I'm Iraq agian... Sometimes that sucks but there's places for that.I guess I just haven't found one.

Range is very nice and well maintained. Word of warning: donΓÇÖt wear any kind of tactical gear unless you want the RSO to yell at you about ΓÇ£rapid fireΓÇ¥ shooting. Watched someone get kicked off the range today by the RSO for this supposed violation while he ignored other people mag dumping. The RSO loudly threatened to have him removed from the premises by the police, which was ridiculous as the gentleman who was a veteran didnΓÇÖt as much as raise his voice or say anything. The RSO then FOLLOWED THE MAN TO THE PARKING LOT to further berate him. Good to know he fought for his country to be harassed by an old fudd who clearly had nothing better to do with his time.

Been going there for over 30 years. I've read complaints about the noise. ITS A FIRING RANGE! Complaint about no eye and ear protection rentals. It's a FREE range. Bring you own gear. If you need babysitting, you don't need firearms. Complaint about flying shell casings. Again ITS A RANGE! Seems some people should just take up putt putt or bowling. It's a great range, accommodating responsible shooters. If anyone does something stupid, the other shooters will call them on it. No need for a range master.

I see stupid comments about Rifle noise . If you don't like the noise of a rifle you cant own a firearm. Any firearms make one hell of strong noise . Don't come if you're used to it around firearms noise. The park is great . No asholes park supervisor. Leave as it is . PEOPLE STOP COMPLAINING. You don't like it . Dont come here .

It's a decent range until the Range safety officers leave. Idiots rapid firing with their muzzle brakes clearing out half the range because the concussion is enough to cause migraines.

This is a great Range for people who frequent shooting ranges and have their own gear. Also helps if you know proper range etiquette as you are expected to shoot responsibly and Safely, following all Range Rules. Rifle, pistol and archery, no shotguns with shot, only slugs. The facilities are top notch, plenty of shooting locations, concrete sidewalks and range area, good benches that are adjustable, and plenty of well maintained target frames. Bring your own targets. There are class room facilities, picnic tables and bathrooms that are old but clean and well stocked. The grounds are nicely landscaped and maintained, with an attendant who does a great job maintaining targets and keeping the brass cleaned up. This is a great range for families or groups of shooters.

Learned about this place today, decided to take a short drive down to lake city to check it out. Pretty cool spot. However upon going there READ the range rules. Even though the shooters there seemed to have been responsible, the range wasnΓÇÖt monitored when I was there. Im not sure if this particular day is like that. IΓÇÖd bring hearing and eye protection as well because itΓÇÖs not available for rent there it seems.
