Otto Range is the best private range I have been to. You have access to many bays to offer all types of training for all disciplines. $100 a year?! That is pennies compared to tons of ranges out there. I see some bad reviews unfortunately. Management constantly has to deal with members sneaking non-members in who have a blatant disregard for safety. So if someone asks to see your membership card, that is why. Don't be offended especially if you are new and not recognized. Be nice to Hank, Dee, and others that maintain the range. If you shoot targets down (at long range) fix them or let them know! Don't bring your trash to shoot at the berms and leave it. That is no cool which alot of guys do. Take care of the range so we can keep it around. Also, feel free to volunteer and help Hank. That is a lot of range to maintain to make sure you have paper targets, steel targets, benches, etc.

The range itself is great, I thoroughly enjoyed going here for the better part of two years and love the hands off approach but the management needs to handle things differently. Now the woman who runs the office is wonderful, I've got nothing bad to say about her but the old guy that patrols the range is a different story. The first time I spoke with the guy outside orientation we were picking up brass as we do because as I mentioned I've been coming here for almost 2 years, and I follow the rules. He drove onto the lane we were shooting in very aggressively, looking like he meant to run me down with his car and I almost ran out of the way for fear of being hit. Without explanation he yelled "WHERE'S YOUR CARD?!" to which I replied it was in my car and he told me to get it then drove at one of the people I was there with. I got the card and showed him so he without explanation took it only then stating it was past sunset. Now I couldn't see the sun behind the hill but there was absolutely still light in the sky and this was a massive overreaction. He also told us that he would open the gate but we had to leave. Now a reply to another review states that he was waiting for an apology? No. For one the guy was sitting at the front with his window rolled up glaring at us, it was not stated nor implied that he wanted to talk to us any further. He was very adamant, practically yelling at us to leave. And for two, this type of behavior does not deserve an apology. I was a loyal paying customer, did not break any rules in the last 2 years and at the first slight disagreement he took away my membership. I will not be coming back here. I will not be recommending this range to anyone.

Super rude owners. They yell and cuss at people. Not worth the money at all.

Avoid This Range at All Costs - Rude Management and Unprofessionalism I have never experienced such blatant disrespect and unprofessional behavior as I did at Otto. The manager, who seems to think he's running a military camp instead of a customer-oriented business, was shockingly rude from the start. Not only was he dismissive and condescending, but he also revoked my membership for no valid reason. When I asked for clarification, he refused to explain and simply told me to leave. This is NOT how you treat paying members who follow the rules and come to enjoy their time. It's clear the management has no regard for their customers and is only interested in asserting their authority in the most obnoxious way possible. Save your time and money and find a range that actually respects its members. YouΓÇÖll thank yourself for staying away from these people.

Owner of the range is EXTREMELY unprofessional and will yell at you without explanation and take your card and tell you to not look back. Be careful, the owner may try to run you over with his vehicle. There was a reply to another review saying that ΓÇ£the old guyΓÇ¥ was at the gate and could have been given an apology. Excuse me!? A business owner yelling, screaming and cussing at PAYING members does NOT deserve an apology. I strongly advise the owners of this range reach out to those affected and offer an apology for their UNACCEPTABLE behavior.

I just became a member yesterday and was so excited to be able to use this range as itΓÇÖs hard to find outdoor ranges. I paid my $100 for my membership card and went through orientation. However the next day, I went shooting with some other range members around 5ish due to us having to work. We were wrapping up and I guess it was past sunset and the old guy drove up furiously, yelled at us and took away our cards saying we donΓÇÖt know what sunset means. Well thatΓÇÖs correct, for us we still saw daylight, since there is an abundance of hills we assumed the sun was not fully set, being that there was plenty of light. I get understand the rules and holding people accountable but to revoke membership for being maybe a couple minutes late??? ThatΓÇÖs an insane business practice. Especially for a rule that is so grey. When your closing hours is ΓÇ£sunsetΓÇ¥ maybe adhere a warning first so we could understand and adjust. We were extremely respectful, safe and cleaned up after ourselves. Lost 3 good range members due to anger and now I understand why this range isnΓÇÖt rated 5 stars

First time at a shooting range and the place is well kept. The gate can be a bit tricky at first, but you'll get it eventually. The sections are well marked and there's a bathroom on site.

Otto Road is a solid shooting range at which to shoot and become a member. There are several bays for rifle, pistol, a shotgun range with throwers, and the only 1,000 yard range I am aware of in the immediate area, which is awesome. I never had a bad interaction with ownership/management during my time as a member, or an RSO hovering over me while shooting. The shop also has a nice inventory of reloading components at a fair price. The range itself, however, could use some more maintenance and refinement to improve the member experience. The angle iron target stand holders in the rifle range bays frequently do not hold target stands (available at the range) properly if at all. This is frustrating after lugging your target stand 100 yards downrange! Stand holders at the pistol bays would often suffer from the same problem, and are setup to position your target extremely low. This is likely for safety reasons, which is understandable, yet still frustrating at times. Steel plates on the pistol range are a nice touch when maintained and available. Many benches and tables at the range bays are wobbly if not completely broken. Target stands and ΓÇ£take what you getΓÇ¥ targets are included with membership, but difficult to find or not always available. Bring your own staple gun or tape, as there is maybe one range stapler that is always MIA or out of staples. These kinds of issues seem minor at first, but upon repeated visits add up to a somewhat annoying and or frustrating experience. Headaches in target/range setup take precious time away from actually shooting! Renewing range membership is also somewhat cumbersome, as the online system does not always work and memberships do not run a full calendar year from your sign up date. Further, if you miss your membership renewal date, a late fee is charged. Again, a minor, yet somewhat frustrating issue over time. Membership, however, is offered at a very fair price, with a very fair guest policy. Because of these issues, I decided not to renew my membership this year and go a different route. I would still recommend Otto Road to anyone looking for an affordable no-frills shooting range. I will also consider rejoining in the future, especially if improvements are made for the range and its members.

Great facility for learning, training and relaxing. However, the last couple times I was out I left contemplating turning in my access card due to rude, unsafe and unfriendly people. Today may have solidified it. Watched the manager throw a ball for his dog directly in the path of an oncoming car. We shall see how I feel in the morning wether or not I continue to come to this place.

This range is okay, but the people running it are some of the rudest IΓÇÖve met. When I had initially started my membership, they were rude on the phone when I was looking to set up my orientation. I work overnights, so when I asked for afternoon they became snippy about it, wanting to know what I have against mornings. IΓÇÖm so sorry dude, I am a shift worker. I do overnight IT support, my morning starts at about 4pm. The one time I did a transfer was also a nightmare. They have you show up to the office, wait forever as the one who handles it isnΓÇÖt even there, then donΓÇÖt tell you that itΓÇÖs cash only. This has to be the one place left that is cash. I sorry I donΓÇÖt run on the same schedule as you, and that I run digital payments. Out side of that, you NEVER see an employee on the range. The range is left unattended most of the time. As long as everyone is respectful of the rules, thatΓÇÖs not a deal breaker. My biggest issue is that they donΓÇÖt provide online renewal. Their website just has a snarky comment about online stating that youΓÇÖre already late and provides no option to pay. Office hours are when I am asleep and without an online option I canΓÇÖt give you money. Maybe if they would recognize they are running a business, and that not everyone is up first thing in the morning, they would be alright to go through. Sadly, IΓÇÖll be taking my money to another overpriced range where I donΓÇÖt have to deal with these issues.

Great shooting range that provides you with targets for a bunch of different calibers including a shotgun range with clay pigeon launchers and in my opinion best shooting range ever

Very open and specific bays for pistols, rifles and shot guns. No one hovers over you while you shoot. Nice change from archer. Will be a member for life

Staff has been extremely rude and unprofessional multiple times over the years. I will never give them my business again, even though the other ranges are more expensive.

Extremely rude and unprofessional in terms of keeping track of finances for memberships. Very defensive if you are a woman and ask questions for clarification. Do not recommend.

I drove here with my son, not only are they not following the mask mandate but theyΓÇÖre very rude. I would give your business somewhere else, I used to come here every day with my son but things have changed.

DonΓÇÖt waste your time with these people. I called and asked about their membership, and they told me to go get my information somewhere else. Zero professionalism, but thatΓÇÖs to be expected from a literal dirt lot.

Nice shooting range. Friendly members. Lots of space and safe. Unfortunately, one staff member drives around on a golf cart with an ego larger than the range itself and creates problems with members. Nothing to do with safety, rather ego driven. Makes membership less than desirable, but it is great when this clown isn't around.
