I want to think Mr. Billy and Mr. Robbie. I am disabled and had the hardest time sighting my gun in. These 2 officers took the time to help me get my gun right and I really appreciate them doing that. Now we're hitting the bullseye. Thank you guys

Clean, safe, and professionally laid out fully functional pistol, rifle, shotgun, and archery facility. The deputies that run the facility keep it in top shape. If you haven't been here, it's definitely worth visiting.

I was not allowed to shoot my registered SBR. Staff advised me that anything with less than a 16" barrel was a pistol and was not allowed. They also stated that rifles must have stocks, which mine does. Other reviews have pictures of patrons shooting pistol AR platforms with braces. I was advised that the rules and regulations are not written and it depends on the opinion of the range staff on any particular day.

This place is a good place to shoot at. It's 10 bones to get in and they provide the targets. Don't be a choch and the range staff will leave you alone. Seriously, just be respectful and responsible with your guns and everything will go smoothly. Get some!!

The OPRR did a wonderful job hosting a steel challenge today. Their entire team was very helpful and took the time to answer everyone's questions and made everyone feel welcome. This is not unusual as the Ouchita Parish Sheriff's Office is well know for helping the community as well as local school organizations. The range is in good condition and there is also skeet and an archery range on site. I highly recommend the Ouachita Parish Rifle Range for everyone and I can not speak highly enough of the men and women of the Ouchita Sherriff's department.

Everyone out here is very kind. There are a ton of targets. Their pistol range has steel pop up targets that are very fun. They also have a rifle spot and a shotgun trap shooting spot with 5 (I think) set ups. They have competitions out there quite often for different charities and such as well.
