Parabellum Firearms & Indoor Range

Kenny was awesome!! We were first-timers and he made sure we had a good experience. He suggested the correct gun & ammo, gave clear instructions, taught us well, and made sure to check on us halfway through. We had a great time!

I called them to see if they'd be willing to sell to me (my home state is not Indiana). They had informed me that any gun, with the exception of black powder, must be sent to an FFL in my home state. I can purchase in Indiana, but cannot possess it there at that transaction. I very sincerely do not believe that is true. I know that with handguns, this is the case. But as far as I've ever known, I can buy and possess a firearm in Indiana as an out of state resident provided that the transaction is legal in my state. Doing some research, I could not find any evidence to support Parabellum's claim either. I did find several sources that indicate one can purchase and receive a long gun in Indiana provided that the transaction is legal in the home state (without having to ship to an FFL in my state of residency). FFLs have a right to determine who they sell firearms to. It is concerning, however, that a firearms dealer is unfamiliar with the law.

Tried this place for the first time after having gone to Indy Arms previously, and had an overall good experience. Staff was professional, they give you one free target with each range rental, you can shoot pistol, rifle or shotgun. They don't make you "upgrade" to shoot outside of handgun (Indy Arms does)..that's very nice. Will def be coming back. The only gripe I have, and it's kind of a big one, is they def need better ventilation in the range. It's very smoky and can be a little difficult to breathe, especially if it gets busy and all lanes fill up

The folks here are very helpful, welcoming, and friendly. As someone new to gun ownership, I have felt comfortable and been helped every step of the way. Highly recommend this place

Prices were good and staff was friendly but ventilation inside the range was so poor, the place was smoky and hard to breathe. Good thing we only got a 30 minute session I donΓÇÖt see anyone else mentioning this as a problem so maybe we just went on a bad day. Besides that, the place was great.

Took my wife there for her first time shooting a gun. We had a great time. The staff is professional, polite, and the place is affordable. If you're going to shoot some of their rental guns, brush up on your manual of arms. Some of those guns are scuffed, but nothing dangerous. 10/10 would go again.

Top notch employees at Parabellum. Their in store selection may be a shade less than some competitors but it is more than made up for by the friendliness and good customer service on behalf of the staff. ItΓÇÖs a night and day difference between how youΓÇÖre treated at Parabellum and any other firearms retailer on the west side, no exaggeration.

Visited today from England and the guys made us feel very welcome. Extremely friendly and helped my husband and dad who have never shot a gun before. Thanks for taking care of us lads especially the Liverpool fan sorry I didnΓÇÖt catch your name

Been coming since 2021 and have never stopped coming back whenever I get the chance ever since. Very friendly and reasonable staff as well. Great place to shoot especially if it's you're first time.

I had to take back my five stars and redo my review I went in to Possibly sell a rifle and a pistol one employee was very rude when I told him my price I wanted to get out of my firearms and the man Immediately Laughed in my face and said yeah no buddy I'm not going to negotiate with you on price I'll give what I'll pay and that's final they will low ball on or offer to trade you cheap used guns for your high end guns and the best part of this the manager that has a holster with my little ponies on it will tell you that he have a friend that would be interested in buying your firearm for really dirt cheap price

Bought my first gun here recently. I believe the man who helped me was Trevor, maybe Travis (IΓÇÖm not the best with remembering names). He was extremely kind, helpful, answered all my questions, and it was clear his main goal was to make sure I knew how to safely handle my gun. I never felt rushed. Very calm and welcoming environment. I left feeling educated and happy. Excellent customer service!!!

Overpriced everything. Maybe it's because i've been spoiled coming from Texas. Ammo price is by far the most ridiculous pricing inside this range with rental price coming in close second and range price in third place. I simply checked all of the prices and left.

Loved it loved it loved it. First time shooting a real gun and these guys really helped me out. They really had time for me, showed me how to safely handle a gun. I will definitely be back before I fly home to try some bigger guns. They didn't believe it was my first time, they said I was a natural but must give credit where it is due, they were some great teachers. Friendly environment and really felt welcomed.

Rolled in without a range time and they squeezed me in. Very cool range! It was really good to see a large number of young people shooting and having fun!

This was a one star review, however after speaking to the owner (Joe) I found he was unaware of these situations occurring. I had a great conversation with him and all is well. Hope to be back to shoot in the near future A+ customer service. So I made sure to review the website prior to writing this review. I never really have much time to get out to shoot anymore between work and family. So today (4Jun2023) I checked hours and see that they are open until 7pm. I packed up and headed to the range only wanting to shoot maybe about 30-45 min. I walked in the door at 530, with no less than 3 people leaning on the counter appearing not to really be doing much of anything other than talking and watching TV with one additional guy running the register. Only to be told " we close the range early on Sundays" so they can clean up and we stay open out here (the retail side) until 7pm. I cant find anywhere on the website that states this other than * Hours are subject to change. Please be sure to check our calendar for any possible events and closures. Checked your calendar and doesn't appear to have anything going on to facilitate closing early. I totally get wanting to head out and call it a day right at closing time. But really close the range and hour and a half early? This isnt the first time Ive dealt with some one just making up hours and rules at this place however wont happen again as I wont be back.

UPDATE: 02/22/2023 - The Owner Listens! After reviewing the information the owner has provided and taking another trip to this location to Verify the Data Security. I can honestly say the owner has increased security measures for data use and is exceeding most requirements. I was truly impressed by measure and has inspired me to change my review and provide you all the information! While at the location we also decide to take part in the range which was both enjoyable and safe environment that was not near as restricting. All transactions included SECURED scan of license (Was able to see proper encryption during data scan). The employee interaction was both pleasant and informative when requesting information. This Establishment is APPROVED by Modern Pirate Lord PREVIOUS REVIEW: This is not easy for me to do as I have personally enjoyed checking out this location- BUT requiring customers to scan there driver license to purchase a BASIC product - even a backpack - is a BIG red flag and is a sure sign of selling data to 3rd party or profit marketing. After my purchase and having my driver license scanned ( It was stated by the employee this is REQUIRED ) and giving my trust to this company - I sadly am receiving MMS messages that are from another company but are associated with an account with parabellum. After doing a Data Check with my security firm - we was able to verify my data was sold. My info is now at risk and is being sold without my approval or permission. Please be careful purchasing items at this location. When requesting to speak to the owner - it was stated the owner is IN and OUT so it was not possible. I am more then happy to provide Stat. Sheet and proof of purchase if the owner wishes to investigate.

I came to shoot my handgun and the guy behind the counter was incredibly rude to another customer. He yelled at a man who clearly wasn't from the US that if he "spoke English" maybe he wouldn't have trouble asking questions. The customer, as far as I could tell, was being polite and attempting to spend his money and time at this location. The customer didn't stand up for himself but you could tell it upset the man. It wasn't bizarre that someone could be that ignorant and demeaning. It was bizarre how the other employees didn't even bat an eye. That experience was the final straw. Limited equipment, expensive ammo, no control over the shooting range, bad customer service. Add on the fact that an armed employee is now insulting an armed stranger, I'm out. I'm definitely not some bleeding heart liberal but I'm not some hillbilly redneck full of hate for people different than me.

Staff was very helpful, informative and friendly, over the phone and in person. We ended our staff retreat at the range and it was perfect!

Great place to shoot. Nice friendly staff. DONT buy ammo from there. I got charged 50 dollars for a box of federal 40s. Way over priced when they are 23.99 down the road.

Upgraded to 3 stars. Jim is very friendly and helpful. A lot of the younger employees could learn a lot from him as far as customer service skills go. The range is nice. I like to go at the less busy times. I did go on the weekend and the weekend staff was friendly.
