Paul Bunyan Rifle & Sportsman's Club

Q: How much is the annual membership?
A: $120. 10 bucks a month. This is after a background check if you don't have a current concealed weapons permit and after joining the N.R.A. if your not currently a member. Note: you only have to be a member of the nra to join. Your nra membership is no longer required after you join, just yearly dues.

Q: Why do I have to become a member of the NRA to join your Club I believe in the right to bear arms but I believe that more restrictions are required that the NRA does not support
A: I do not speak on behalf of the club and you have the liberty of your political stance but the range currently supports the NRA. It is a private club and they have the right to uphold these requirements. They also require a background check. That being said, the facilities are some of the best in the area and all the members I have interacted with have been kind and helpful. I have never had to fear for my safety here due to a negligent or unsafe shooter.

Q: would need to be a member to shoot at your facility?

Q: Can you rent guns at this facility and also sell ammo?
A: No
- Jay Burt (a year ago)
Q: How long is there range
A: Rifle Range is 200 yards. Pistol Range is 50 yards. Rifle Range goes out to 600 yards, but you have to qualify and there's fees to do it. Also, they only do long range sessions now and then because, they have to close all ranges to do it.

I came by and saw the sign said Pistol Range open. I went to the sign in box and the guy asked if I'm a Hunter sign in. I'm not sure what that meant but the guy was kind of laughing at me for being confused. I told him I brung my own pistol to shoot but he said the range was closed. I asked him if it'll be open tommorow, then he told me it was members only, while laughing at me. The entire exchange was so unneccesarily confusing and rude for no reason. If I'm new to this range, why are you so dimissive of me? Never going back here.

I've been going there since the early '80s and it has grown into a great long range facility.
