Peacemaker National Training Center

Q: What international airports are close
A: Dullas is about an hour and a half away.

Q: Have a 50 Cal CVA Optima... can this be shot at the range and do you have to be a member to shoot at Peacemaker? Thanks
A: I've seen people shooting muzzle loaders before, but not 50 BMG. You don't have to be a member to shoot at the public range (pistol bay and rifle from 50-300 yds). You don't have to be a member to shoot in competitions either.

Q: Does PNTC have gun storage services?
A: No they do not.
- Dennis H (2 years ago)
Q: I had planned to go out to Peacemaker tomorrow to zero a scope. It looks like it is going to rain. Does Peacemaker have covered shooting areas for their 100 yd ranges? G
A: yes.

The chief RSO is awful. When my group and I were at the 500 yard range he pulled up behind us and just started staring at us and looking at our targets with binoculars for 30min- 1 hour. After we had finished long range shooting we decided to set up a course of fire to practice 2 gun(only the riffle portion) we ran this by him and he okayed it. When a guy from our group put his pistol on his belt (just for realism, it had a chamber flag and was clearly unloaded) the RSO stormed over and immediately started screaming and giving attitude with no attempt for civil discussion.

I will be filing a grievance against the special New Chief RSO who canΓÇÖt stop antagonizing my guests and I. Yelling and screaming at members who have been training, taking classes, and shooting matches for the last two years is as unprofessional as it gets. All the other RSOΓÇÖs have common sense and are very professional people. We have video now of the hypocrisy/disrespect we received from our last visit. Waiting to hear from the New manager on how they plan to handle the situation. We will bring this up the chain as far as we need to. Changing managers/leadership every 8 months is getting old and I wouldnΓÇÖt be surprised if we see a new manager/chief RSO in the coming months.

This is the best long-range shooting range in the Northern Virginia area. It has a very open 500-yard range, plus a 1000 yard range. What impressed me the most, however, was how nice the people running it were. They were very helpful and kind. I highly recommend Peacemaker for serious long-range shooters.

I purchased a membership that includes access to all ranges. However, upon arriving, I was informed that I could not use the two firearms I brought with me. There is no information on their website regarding restrictions on firearms or calibers permitted at the range. Additionally, I requested access to the 1000-yard range, but I was told that it is only available on Wednesdays, a limitation that was not disclosed on the website at the time of my purchase. When I sought a refund due to these unexpected restrictions, my request was denied, with the explanation that I am obligated to pay for a full year of membership, despite being unable to use the firearms I own. I made it clear to them that I have no other firearms that I can use at their range, yet they still refused to issue a refund. In an email, I was told that I had signed an agreement and was informed of these restrictions in person, which is incorrect. I neither signed such an agreement nor was I informed of these limitations until the first time of my visit AFTER the membership fee had been paid online. Their website is also not concise at all about all these caveats. Despite their knowledge that I have no other firearms suitable for their range, they continue to withhold a refund. The firearms in question are a .338 Lapua and a .50 Cal GM6 Lynx. They also charged me 5.3% Va sales tax on a service. The receipt also clearly states the membership I bought was for 1 month and shows nothing about being recurring.

Had the best time at Peacemaker. Kristi and Wade provided a personal rifle training for my friend and I. Their expert knowledge of weapons, windage, ammo and more was eye opening. I will become a member on my next visit. If you are looking for the safest range, educated RSOΓÇÖs the. peacemaker is the place to be.

CanΓÇÖt recommend the training courses with Kristi and Wade enough! First of all, they heavily focus on safety, which made everyone feel much more comfortable from the start. I came into the Carbine 1 course with elementary knowledge/skills and left feeling much more comfortable and equipped with my tool. Courses are small enough where it felt 1:1 and received instant feedback for improvement. The courses are well structured and I enjoyed each process/drill throughout the day. If youΓÇÖre on the fence about signing up for any courses from them, I recommend jumping and learning some new things!

Wow! Kristi is so professional and skilled. I'm thrilled to be taking her classes! She takes safety very seriously which makes me feel very confident during time on the range. I feel so much more empowered after taking classes with her. I could sing her praises for days! Thank you Kristi! Can't wait for next session ☺️!

Peacemaker has a variety of different ranges available for different kinds of shooters/hobbies. I've only have a membership for their Liberty option which provides you with more than enough space to train on steel targets. Every lane has different types of steel targets so you won't always get your preferred range especially when it's a busy day. One thing they can improve on is providing/replacing sturdy wooden posts to staple your paper targets as they're usually unstable and don't fit well in the metal floor mounts. Usually I come to shoot steel, but I also bring paper targets for more close-range shooting. Their staff, in my experience, has always been helpful and respectful when I visit their office and even helped me register on their Silencershop kiosk as they saw me struggling in the process. Since the Liberty lanes have a lot of space, it's ideal for bringing a couple guests and they'll try to give you at least an hour and maybe longer so you can get more shooting time.

$50 to use public range (not a member). Minimal options for purchase in the office (they're working on it). There were recent changes to ownership that people seem unhappy with. But I can only speak for my own experience. RSO Shane was very helpful, informative and understanding. RSO Sam even helped address an issue with a firearm in the middle of the visit, just because he could. Had a great first time at Peacemaker. As with all ranges, it's a good idea to call ahead to ensure availability.

I think itΓÇÖs funny how ever since Inter-Con (which is the corporate company that bought Peacemaker) took over, they have ran this place into the ground. TheyΓÇÖve ignore Peacemaker, they donΓÇÖt give them funding, they make promises they canΓÇÖt keep and expect the employees to keep the place running by nothing short of a miracle. They donΓÇÖt realize how hard working, and passionate their employees are because they are too busy making a dollar. This company has WITHHELD insurance benefits to long time employees and has GONE OUT OF THEIR WAY to sabotage and even go as far as to frame their employees so they can fire them. Inter-Con is a disgrace. And itΓÇÖs a shame they ruined a beautiful place. I hope one day Peacemaker, the one that we all know and love can be restored to its beauty. But that wonΓÇÖt happen until Inter-Con either ships up or ships out. They arenΓÇÖt even a local company, they are based and operated in California!!

Peacemaker National Training Center is a gunnery range that stressed safety above all else, during my visit. Professional staff, precautionary safety training before entering the range. Competent, helpful staff made me feel very welcome there. Plus, it's one beautiful ride just getting there. I'm not kidding, the land is just beautiful!

Can't say anything about the membership program(s) but I visited with friends to use the public range. We paid around $42 per person and it was well worth the cost. The public long range was clean and tidy, the RSO was very friendly and also helped sight in my firearm. The other patrons were geniuely nice and friendly. It was just a great environment to be in and shoot. Just remember to keep to the rules set forth from the instructional videos. Excited to go back again.

BLUF: Avoid this shady, BS operation. I would characterize PNTC as an unprofessional scam operation. If this were a respectable organization that either cared about their members or had a shred of integrity, I would expect an apology and refund. IΓÇÖm sure IΓÇÖll get neither. While most of the range officers and training cadre were knowledgeable and professional, the administration and management are horrendous and seemingly incompetent. I had a range and training membership for years, but over the past 6-8 months have been unable to sign up for any courses. Repeated emails over several months for various courses have gone unanswered (as they claim that training members cannot register directly, in the rare instance that the course calendar is actually updated). My understanding (so, I could be wrong) is that the POC for these registrations is a co-owner, which makes the situation and lack of correspondence even more inexcusable. However, the same lack of responsiveness or follow-up includes every other mode of contact (email address and phone numbers) available. For at least the last year, the only thing they seem to be able to do consistently is charge their monthly fees for services not provided and ignore contact from members. I plan to elevate my complaints and concerns to the county-level administrators and the state attorney generalΓÇÖs office, as the other reviews herein are a clear indication that these underhanded activities are not a one-off occurrence, but are endemic.

Mistakenly registered for a membership, sent a cancellation email seconds later and followed up with a phone call with no response from either. Ended up getting charged the next month as we, where I followed up with another email and another phone call. It seems noone is on the other end of the line. At this point they are maliciously stealing my money, and I have never even been to PNTC, I live hours away (hence why I immediately canceled).

I'd give them zero stars if it was an option. I was one of the very first members of this club when Cole opened the facility. The very first question I asked Cole was can we shoot.338 Lapua, .416 Barrett and .50 bmg. I had a witness that day, a friend who also joined that day. Cole reiterated, yes of course, shoot all you want on the 1000yd range. That was a lie of course, because with the schedule of action pistol shooting, using the 1Kyd range was impossible due to the location of the action pistol range and related scheduling conflicts After 3 months, Cole sent out a letter saying no more shooting.338 Lapua, .416 or 50 bmg. Peacemaker cannot support these calibers any longer. Whatever that meant. The place was a joke hyped by their sponsors and the wanna-b rambo goobers working there. Cole also failed to mention the b.s. drop and ballistic chart baloney you had to provide, the fact that you could not load and shoot at will. One of their local expert hound dogs that worked there had to give permission to load and send it. Absolutely ridiculous. We found the staff then to be condescending and inexperienced. I know Cole left the area working for the NRA, not sure what his ownership role is currently at this facility. Matters not, I'd never shoot there again.

Ridiculous prices. Had a military membership for a few years at $150, now its $420 per year, yeah ok. Rude and conceded employees who think they are God's gift to guns. Over the top paperwork, safety video, and range rules. We all know rules are required, but employees treat you like a child. Save your cash and go to Tango Down.

I will remove my review is Jeff ever calls me back. Bought a suppressor in the second week of Dec 2021. It is now July 22 2022 and my paperwork is not even submitted yet so I can start waiting for approval from tge ATF. Jeff is the only one able to do the paperwork and he is literally never available, not even for 10 seconds to send a text. I am unable able to get a refund or transfer my product to another store becuase Jeff has to do it. The rest of the staff is very nice but gives me a new excuse everytime I call which was weekly, now it's daily. I imagine they have a stack of notes piled up for this guy to set up an appt with me. Buy from literally anywhere else. UPDATE: I ended up having to start a completely new order with a different gun store. During last range visit the safety officer told me no loaded guns are allowed on their property so if I'm going to shoot the pistol I carried there I would have to load and unload it on the public roadway instead of safely towards a berm on the range. This place is filled with the brightest most competent employees.

If your're thinking of signing up for their training membership, don't! They make it very hard for training members to sign up for classes. Then they also cancel classes with no notice. Since you're already paid up, you're SOL.

I can understand the fee increase as a business decision, while it was quite a steep increase for those of us who would renew every year at the discounted rate. It is a shame, however, that I used to get a response to my emails from the owner or one of the excellent staff, and now I get no response.

Showed up and entered a nearly full parking lot around 1400 due to some event. No indication or clearly marked door indicating the office entrance so had to call.. Safety video is truly extensive and the range fee is pretty high. I just wanted to sight-in and it was about 42 bucks, several paragraphs for the waiver of liability, extensive safety video, and extremely stringent property rules. All kinds of talk about permanent bans for this and that...save your time and money and just go to a National Forest with some paper targets. Going here is a total process not worth the hassel in my opinion. Also conceal carry on premises is not permitted regardless if you are a CPL/CHL holder. There is no legal notice on the exterior of the building that states this prohibition...you find this out during the safety video...
