Coming from a military background, it's refreshing to see the rules held to a high standard. The range is clean and run well. Can't wait to be a member to partake in more opportunities.

i mean it was alright, some of the other people at the range acted immature and cocky when i was setting up.

I have never had a good experience with this organization. They are not willing to invest in the future and support kids learning to shoot.

Overall great experience. Friendly staff, great views, and great range. There is some things to be aware of before coming here: 1. No rapid fire. They require you to watch a safety video and have signs that say no full auto, binary, bump stocks but nothing about rapid fire. Range officer came and told us himself. I believe it should be clearly stated from the beginning. There is a brochure that has rules that we were not required to read that may have had this rule. 2. No "pistol caliber carbines" on pistol range. I took my six inch cz scorpion with a pistol brace and i was told it had to be put away after 2 different range officers originally said it was fine. (Side note: a six inch scorpion with a pistol brace is a pistol caliber pistol not a pistol caliber carbine. Youre welcome). You can however bring a 8 inch .357 magnum revolver just not a 9mm 6 inch barrel with a brace :). This rule was shown to us in the brochure that again, we were not required to read. (Or even told about). Overall the staff was very friendly and kindly explained the rules and helped us with any questions we had.

Great place to go shooting! Outdoor range. $20 bucks per person. They have about 3 ranges and a great facility for restrooms and outdoor shooting. Targets are $1 each and they have 2 choices (regular targets and a headshot target). You watch a three minute video when you are a first time customer.

I went with my friend Thursday and we had a blast. I haven't shot for years and I needed to reacquaint myself to the guns. I felt very safe there and I felt the management they were good guys with a lot of knowledge. I didn't even know where the gun range was I would say you would go on Oracle and turn east on wilds that's the easiest way to get there. The restrooms were spotless and it really is important to have your ears protection once you get The hang of it on rules from then on it's a breeze I really would like to join the membership it's very close and to me it's a lot of fun

Nice range. Pretty affordable. Probably the best in Tucson.

I've been to a few ranges in Tucson and it always seemed that their RO's saw everyone as incompetent liabilities. PPC is a lot more of a community. Staff is absurdly nice and accommodating and want to see everyone get better. Some people may think the yearly membership is steep compared to other ranges but the value is far higher.

The range itself is not bad, but had I known how much members are put on the back burner in terms of member range availability I never would have purchased a membership. The main days that I was able to go were Saturdays and almost every Saturday the range gave priority to competitions so I found myself using the general ranges, completely voiding any member benefits that I should have had access to.

While staying at Saddlebrooke, north of Tucson, we discovered The Pima Pistol Club. Down the end of a well traveled dirt road, and through into well kept grounds, this club has full amenities for pistol and rifle use. If you’re a member there’s access to private ranges, if your a guest there are other clean, safe, well kept ranges to use. Check-in is simple but carefully done, there’s a good video to watch that informs range practices and protocol. The sun came up over the Catalina mountains, and the crispness left the air. Seems like I could find the bullseye better! A great pistol club in the tradition of Arizona’s western traditions. I made a iMovie video stored on Vimeo, but not sure if it can be listed here…. I’ll make some changes and put the link up here soon (Dec 20, 2021)

Went here to shoot with a friend. ID check-in and safety protocol. DoesnΓÇÖt take long for check in or to get started. Range is made clear before all reset targets or brass cleanup. Everything went well with ability to request appropriate range. Easy to get to, and way closer for Oro Valley residents. Outdoor range.

During the summer the range closes at noon. Don't bother coming in the afternoon.

Outdoor range, beautiful Mountains in the backdrop, friendly employees,safe..Only 2 negatives are driving on the dirt road,It's pretty bad unless you have a suv or p/u truck. Second, the minimum distance on the pistol range is 30 feet, which is a tough shot with a pistol. Not good for beginners. If you can't make a 10 foot shot you're not making 30..

IΓÇÖd been here several times in years past and came again recently due to prior good experiences. This time they failed to inform us of brand new rules, had conflicting signage that directly contradicts itself which can easily lead to safety issues. I wonΓÇÖt be coming back. This place really went downhill after COVID I guess.

During the Covid pandemic my membership expired because I wasn't able to get out like I would have wanted. After 60after the expiration and when I did feel comfortable going they informed me since my membership was expired I. needed to pay an additional 75$ to renew plus the membership fee. I will be looking a new range to attend and invite all my friends. To my surprise I have found there are several in town that are cheeper to join and attend as a guest and with better access and less dust.
