A: Stationary shooting. Don't think there is any restrictions on ammo.

Q: Question is is there area for pistol shooting for like 5,10,15,20 feet or not place for pistols and how much does it cost
A: Free to go here, it's DNR managed and free for the public to use during the operating hours. For pistol shooting I just bring my own target hold and set it in the closer range, all of the back stops are 25, 50, and 100 yards I believe.

Q: What time does it close?
A: Sunset currently, so generally 7pm.

A: At 9am, but there is no one there to tell you not to start any sooner.

Would have been 5 stars, but the brass goblins crawling under shooter's tables for spent brass really make it annoying going here. Also, if it has rained in the last month, this place will be a swamp. Went on 2/24 and quickly remembered why I normally shoot elsewhere.

Excellent range, free for public use - make sure you bring your own targets, the bays with the closer backstops fill up quickly. I recommend yard signs with stapled on targets - easy to set up, works great, and very cheap.

Worked with First Line of Defense who were teaching basic handgun and self defense. While there this morning there were a couple groups that stopped by, all were following range safety and mindful of everyone else. Rules were posted as you walked under the pavilion with a couple tables set up and trash can.

Pleasant Creek is my favorite place to go shoot my rifle at that's not someone's private land. Boasting 8 bays, 25, 50, 100 and 300 yard backstops, and no Range office or reservations or range fees. This is the best place to zero your rifle, shoot your own targets, and get in some private range time. Out of the handful of times I've been I've been the only one at the range a majority of the time. On nicer days definitely expect this place to be packed with locals and people from Morgantown which is about an hour north.

We've been going here for over 11 years. It's a pretty nice range! The only complaint I have is that I wish there was a bathroom of some sort.

Nice gun range but I wished the archery range was better and you can shoot out to 60 yards or farther.

I shot at this range yesterday. I have some concerns that people donΓÇÖt know Range Safety Rules. It is not a comfortable feeling to be down Range and see someone pointing their weapon down Range. Range safety rules MUST be posted. The public needs to be responsible for policing the area of shot shell casings and brass and trash. This is a wonderful place to shoot. Covered firing points and benches are very nice!

Very good small range. Even though it is public it seems private. All it is, is the range and stands that's pretty much the facilities there. People that were there shooting were very nice and helped us set up. In Florida we don't have public ranges like this. Very cool.
