I had the best experience here!!! I just got my PA license and hadn't fired a gun in over 20 yrs. I went in and spoke with Tom at the register. He was friendly and informative. He told me everything that I needed to know about getting started step by step. He was patient and provided me with the best customer service ever. When I was ready for the range, I was introduced to Sharon, she is amazing! She too, was friendly, patient, and informative. An absolute pleasure to work with. I met some really nice people while practicing. They offered really good pointers, and I felt comfortable asking them questions and for guidance. I had the best experience with staff and other customers. I couldn't ask for more. I can't wait to go back and take advantage of a few of the many courses they have to offer. Thank you to everyone at Pocono Pistol Range! You guys are the best!

Was looking for a fun date with my girlfriend and she mentioned that her and her mom used to go here when she was little. Did not realize that it was going to be $108 dollars for two people to use a lane for about an hour. Also was ridiculous that we had to pay $5 for the hanger when it was shot once (no where near the ceiling). If there are already clips on the hanger, there is no need for an additional cardboard hanger (total money scheme). Will never be going back terrible experience would give 0/5 stars if possible.

10/17/24 I went to the range after not going for a few months. I was a paying monthly membership but a few months back I had an issue and didnΓÇÖt pay it for one month so few months later i went to go re sign up again cause I thought since I didnΓÇÖt pay it was cancel and had to resign. Nope. Turns out since I didnΓÇÖt cancel I was being charged the pass few months. Ok my fault I should made sure it was cancel anyway so I didnΓÇÖt have the money to pay my past due owe so I said ok I pay it next time when I have the full amount for it. So that sucks canΓÇÖt go shooting but I saw a firearm I wanted to get which I had money for . So IΓÇÖm filling out the paperwork background check and etc waiting waiting. Taken longer then expected and IΓÇÖm already a gun owner so I been thru the process. Apparently the employee wasnΓÇÖt allowed to sell me the firearm cause I owed on the membership fees. Supposedly the owner felt if I had money for a firearm I had money to pay off what I owed. But I didnΓÇÖt tho what business is it thereΓÇÖs to tell me what to spend my money on at the time ? How that fair. Then I asked the employee to let me speak to the supervisor owner whoever in charge. He flat out refused to let me speak to anyone in charge said cause it a gun shop there rules are different no one allowed to know the supervisor name and allowed to speak to them when asked. I said that bs anywhere else like supermarket or somewhere else if you ask for someone in charge usually it not a problem. So I said ok when the supervisor be in next time so I talk in person. He refused to tell me when. Saying again the rules cause gun shop too. So if it a gun shop too. What does my membership fees gotta do with buying a firearm from them. Totally unsatisfactory with the whole experience. Honestly makes me not wanna pay what I owe and find another gun range in the area.( in response to owner reply I donΓÇÖt think you fully understood my review and what the issues was. IΓÇÖm not disagreeing with I gotta pay what I owe i understand that. Point of this was your employer refused to let me speak to you or someone in charge and that what I owe from my pass member ship dues had nothing to do with buying a firearm there. That was two different mattes and if I had $ for a firearm I should still been able to buy it cause your also a gun shop beside shooting range. The way your employees handle the situation was horrible and that fact it took you this long to reply to my review on here months later says something

terrible experience, we spent $400 with no hesitation and the staff had the nerve to charge me $200 for a "bracket that needed welding" because the shotgun we shot bent the bracket backwards. The instructor told us to put the target as far back as allowed intentionally, giving near impossible range to shoot the shotgun accurately. The kickback on the shotgun forced the bracket to bent backward, while the bracket is supported by a screw and a bunch of electrical tape. All the slots were damaged severely, seeming like a trap for tourists to cough up $200 for absolutely no reason. The staff was very rude about it, showing no appreciation for customers, seems like they dont like people that are not locals. There was 0 effort of solution other than yelling at the customers for absolutely no reason. I would never walk back in here, go to sunset hill instead, they are a lot better and cheaper!

Worst place to come to shoot because their instructor was saying he was in the marine corps but when I told him to shoot an easy target, he missed with his ΓÇ£own pistolΓÇ¥ that he abuses every single day, and then gives me an attitude because he missed and says ΓÇ£heΓÇÖs dead anywayΓÇ¥, then we come back to return the guns and the front desk nerd gives an attitude for no reason, why would I even come here to spend a dollar if they have this type of energy, PLEASE DONT COME HERE TO SPEND A DOLLAR!

Great experience went to another rental place the day before and was not the same experience the day before at another gun range felt like cattle being led to slaughter…. But at the Pocono pistol range it was a great experience and great employees running the place will be back

Worst customer service ever. The young man wearing the glasses was one of the rudest most obnoxious person IΓÇÖve ever encountered. Drove down 2hrs to the range with a friend. Only to find out that this place doesnΓÇÖt actually like its customers. It was empty on a Tuesday around 1pm. We came to rent the firearms and a lane and was told we only get 1 lane for the both of us & have to share 1 gun for the both of us, even worse they give restrictions on bullets so we get 1 bullet for that firearm for the price of $120. Came here plenty of times with friends always got our own individual lane. The prices here are insane. DONΓÇÖT COME AND SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS !! I could have stayed after being mistreated but decided to drive else where to a different gun range. I HAD A WAY BETTER TIME. We spent $300 in total but we had fun. Rented 3 guns each with unlimited ammo. DO NOT COME HERE AND WASTE TIME WITH THERE BULLET RESTRICTIONS, LANE RESTRICTIONS. They do not like their customers & this place needs to be shut down. Will not ever come back. rating 0/10

IΓÇÖm an avid shooter with licenses in multiple states, and unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. The staff at check-in were unfriendly and seemed uninterested in providing any level of customer service. Once on the range, the RSO was unnecessarily strict, enforcing odd rules like aminimum distance for paper targets. He even became confrontational when I used my own ammo, only backing down when I clarified that I was using my own firearm. It felt like a hassle for no reason. Additionally, despite being told the range was open until 6 pm, all the patrons were told to leave at 5:45 without any reimbursement for the time we lost. On the positive side, the range itself was well-lit, and the rental firearm was in good condition, but unfortunately, these small positives didnΓÇÖt outweigh the negative experience. Overall, IΓÇÖd rate this a 2/10. I hope the owner can address this review directly to ensure future customers have a better experience.

Great first time there. Comfortable environment. Funny instructor made area relaxing for our group, he even shot our target with us and hit a bulseye without looking, got a great laugh from the group and encourged us more....

While the staff is very friendly and helpful, the prices are exorbitant. $30 for a box of ammo that you can get $16 elsewhere. Range usage fees are very high. They charge you five dollars for the target holder if you get one or two bullet holes in it. Again nice facility, but the prices are way too high to want to come back.

Friendly staff. The young man at register didn't explain much, he went very quick over everything, which worried me because it was our first time, but at the lane there was a gentleman that stayed with us, guided us and was very helpful. We have fun and learned how to properly manage a weapon. They allow children of 10y and older with a parent.

This place was great, as someone who does shooting every 10 years or so, the service was great, they took safety very seriously, the guy at the counter was friendly and helpful, and Devin gave us awesome instruction and feedback while maintaining safety and and order on the range.

Visiting from NYC this range is great. The girl behind the counter was really friendly and helpful and the range officer Larry was really helpful and chill. Only thing I didn't really like was that the ammo for rental firearms were only sold in tiny bags (25 x 9MM for about $20) which I find a little steep. Other than that I'd definitely visit again

Would not recommend to new shooters or anyone at all. For starters they have 1 person working at the desk who was very nice but doesnΓÇÖt know how to manage a line. We get there to give our IDΓÇÖs and pay but that process took almost 30 minutes since she kept bouncing back and forth with every person that came and wanted to try a different gun or needed ammo. There were 2 more employees sitting in the back who just completely ignored the rush at the desk and did not help. Second, the range instructor was an old guy and was absolutely horrible and dismissive and had a horrible attitude. The only reason we managed well was because the instructor I had the first time I ever shot was a great teacher so I remembered all the important stuff. The range instructor had a horrible attitude and was incredibly hostile which is not how an instructor should be at a shooting range. Incredibly dangerous to have a dismissive instructor at a range where people are shooting loaded weapons. Will definitely not be coming back.

Not a great experience. Here from the UK, decided to visit this place. 1 staff at the desk. Would start talking to us, and then wonder off to serve someone else when she hasn't finished with us. Wasted 20 mins doing this. Person who watched/helped in the shooting area was the most disrespectful person I have met. No help, terrible attitude when asked for help huffs and puffs. Very moody, someone was in the lane we were given at the desk and instead of asking this person to move, did nothing and stood there. The shooting itself was brilliant but customer and staff are horrendous. And the stupid charge for 1 small bullet hole in the card was beyond a joke. Pathetic way to make extra money.

Went to the range today with my son who has not shot before. Everybody was very helpful from start to finish. The range safety gentlemen was excellent and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend the range.

I used to go there all the time , with new ownership new rules. Desert Eagle only one bullet IΓÇÖm allowed to bring it to the range and shoot!!! 2 guns Not allowed at the range !!! Customer service very poor, not interested, mumbling something!!! Not coming back and overpriced.

If I could give less than one star I would. I went to the range with my brother, his fiancee and a friend. The people there all had very bad attitudes off the start. Prices on line say one thing then they charged us more. We finale get up to the lanes and the range person is not keeping clear paths so people can get to the back to grab new targets. The piece of cheap aluminum that holds the plastic for the target breaks on the one lane we are shooting on. We tell the range person and he accused me of shooting it. Which I did not. He replaces it and relises that it was a clean break. We then get done and go to get our licenses back, and they try to say we shot the new bracket which they want to charge us $200 for. After looking at the bracket I tell them that the caliber we were shooting could not have done the damage that was on the bracket. Plus the piece of aluminum on cost 5 to 10 dollars. So to try and con money out of new customers is ridiculous. The range officer comes over and trys to talk to me like a child and like I don't know what I am talking about. They need to seriously get there people some customer service training. I do not recommend you go there. Owners when you comment don't try and pull we can't find you in our records I have the receipt to show it.

Place sucks, tried to charge us $200 for a 50 cent piece of aluminum that holds the target up. Which what we were shooting could not have left the damage that was on the piece of metal, and had to of been there previously.

Waste of time and money we were charge $100 for shooting at the ceiling and we never did shooting officer wasnΓÇÖt even there then African America gentleman walks in saying we shot the ceiling and went ahead and charge us damage fee without any prove please look for other options before u consider spending any money at this place because I sure wonΓÇÖt never again.
