Point Blank Range

friendly staff.. bought a hellcat from them today and the older gentleman at the counter made a comment like “glad your not a felon” as i walked out the door with my purchase… wont be coming back

I'm thirty minutes early for a medical appointment the next building over. I decide to get breakfast, a bagel and coffee. This business is closed and has a completely empty parking lot except for a couple of food trucks in the back corner. I park in the back of the lot, away from the entrance and not obstructing anything or in anyone's way. While I'm sipping my coffee and listening to a podcast, an older, unkempt, white gentleman comes to my car. Thinking he's going to ask me for spare change, I roll down my window and he asks why I'm parked there. I tell him that I'm just having breakfast and this seemed like a quiet spot early in the morning. He tells me that this is a shooting range and that my presence is making the patrons, which include law enforcement officers, nervous. I'm a Hispanic male driving a luxury SUV. The only things in my hands have been a bagel, a coffee, and my cell phone. From all impressions, this is a shared parking lot with the dentist's office and food prep business that are in the same parking entrance. But this "patriot" has basically let me know that he's armed and there's law enforcement inside the premises and that he's perfectly willing to make my life miserable for having the audacity to eat a bagel and drink a coffee in his parking lot. Here's the thing, I'm also a gun owner and enjoy going to shoot at gun ranges. I've been invited by friends who are members at Point Blank to shoot with them. However, Point Blank can be sure that I will never spend a penny in their establishment and will encourage all of my friends who also enjoy shooting to find a place where they don't treat people like garbage. Between Blackstone and CSA, there are plenty of better options to spend your money. Good riddance Point Blank.

These guys were SO nice, especially to someone who is brand new in this arena. They are very knowledgeable and helped me test out a few to see what I might like. We will definitely be coming back, it was a great experience! Shout out to Don who made it the best time.

Okay range. Typical roster of rules including "no rapid fire." Funny, they rent machine guns. How does that work with their "no rapid fire" rule? A little expensive overall.

We rented out their private room for my husbandΓÇÖs birthday, and we had THE BEST experience! Amanda took great care of me and let me know exactly what to expect, and made booking easy. Don, our RSO was very knowledgeable and helpful all day long. We had some newer shooters in our party, and he took great care of all of us, and made everyone feel super safe. We got to use our own private range for the people in our party. We also had exclusive access to their private room, which had its own restrooms, TVs, tables, and even a pool table! 10/10 recommend, book your party here!!

Bought my first gun here the other day. The process was straightforward and the man behind the counter was extremely informative, knew his stuff and gave great recommendations, and above all stressed the importance of gun safety. I'll be back for some classes and range time.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! I was in town visiting friends who have never gone shooting before. I have been shooting since IΓÇÖm a kid and they trusted me enough to take them for their first time. On the ride to the range I explained the basics of firearm safety and the basics of pistol shooting to the best of my ability. My apologies I donΓÇÖt remember the names of the two gentlemen who helped us but once we got to the range we got checked in and waited for a bay to open up. While waiting one of the two gentlemen took the time to throughly explain stance proper grip trigger manipulation using the sights and basic gun safety. In my experience going to many different ranges IΓÇÖve seen a lot of guys be dismissive with new shooters and that wasnΓÇÖt the case here. It was very welcoming and the staff was fun to work with very knowledgeable and professional!!

Mike, Dustin and Garret and just awesome knowledgeable guys. Always able to answer my questions and get me what I need. The facility is top notch state of the art. This is my first place I go to shoot and shop for firearms!

Extremely packed and crowded they can't even form a proper line Short bearded black dude was very standoffish after. I just asked him what type of license does he want me to present. It was my first time there. I thought he was asking me for gun license. Driver's license could have been anything and he says you know what I'm talking about Kind of attitude and then he says I should drop my attitude when I ask him a simple question. I went and complained to the manager about him. Another dude about 6 ft big dude was listening to me. Look like he didn't give a damn what I was telling him. He was just like. Yeah yeah acting like he was concerned and I just left as the black bearded dude short asked me to do when he blew everything out of proportion. There's more than one gun shop in the city bud He should not be working there. He should be demoted or moved to another department

Great range! Greg taught an excellent concealed carry course! When you're using the range, you can leave and come back later the same day, without paying again! Plenty of parking in back.

On a Thursday evening, I visited the range solo to explore options for purchasing a concealed carry handgun. Glenn and Reggie were absolutely outstanding! Their extensive knowledge, attentiveness, and warm demeanor made me feel comfortable and right at home. As someone with limited experience, they went above and beyond to ensure I felt confident, safe, and well-informed. IΓÇÖll definitely be returning. I shot for the first time today. IΓÇÖve been in and out of this range many times but out of fear of embarrassing myself I never shot. After talking with Glen who was very friendly and reassuring. He Said be safe and have fun, IΓÇÖll keep a eye on you through the window. I went for it. He gave me the biggest target they had and said go for it. Success I made it through didnΓÇÖt do to bad and will definitely be back. A special thanks to Glen!!! And all the other workers.

Best place to buy and shoot your handguns. Wife and I are new gun owners and Mike was extremely helpful with a lot of novice questions. A few weeks later when we were ready to buy, Dustin helped us and could not be more patient. Ben Newton gave a fantastic beginner lesson to owning a gun 101. Brad was great for our conceal to carry class. And when we want to come in to practice Reggie is great at the range. All the staff Point Blank are great. Very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.

I like the fact that they do NOT charge hourly. ItΓÇÖs a flat rate for range use all day. I like that they have several lanes. No wait. I like that the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. I like that the place is clean and free of clutter. I like that they have stools to sit and watch players on the range. I like that patrons can bring all their own equipment and just pay for use of the range all day. If I lived nearby, I would look into the membership.

The staff and the range are great. Plus, there’s a wide variety of firearms, knives, and firearm accessories for purchase. And…a nice variety of rental firearms.
