I had a great 1st experience here with my son. Friendly and safe staff. Front desk was responsive and knowledgeable. Range officer enforced ettiquette and safety rules respectfully. This is a good place to go with new shooters. They have a good selection of weapons and accessories. They rent a wide range of firearms too. One of the more impressive indoor range experiences I've had. Shout out to Josh and Cy. We'll be back.

Super clean and modern facility, Erin at the counter and Ken the RSO were kind and helpful. Safety protocols were clear, thorough and logical. I will absolutely visit again whenever I am in Prescott.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Prescott Gun Club and Shooting Range. When I was thinking of getting a handgun, my neighbor suggested I go to their Introduction to Semi-Automatic Handguns class. I was nervous going by myself but the instructor was knowledgeable and patient and when it came time to actually shoot the Smith & Wesson 380, I felt safe and confident that I was in good hands. Besides the fact that they have a great range, their prices are very reasonable and I love shooting, I also go there for the camaraderie and friendly staff who are always so helpful. The Range Officers are all great too! They are always happy to help me when needed and give me great tips and advice. My shooting skills and confidence with firearms has really grown and it is because of the owners, Pete and Val and all of their wonderful Staff. I recently went to Ladies Night at the Gun Club and I would like to recommend to women who enjoy shooting and want to improve their skills that they come to Ladies Night held one Friday a month. Erin who coordinates the event is awesome and easy going and she makes it a fun time for everyone no matter your skill level. You will learn new things and have fun doing it!

What a wonderful place! I have taken a few different classes and have thoroughly enjoyed myself, while learning to be a better shooter. The instructors and the range officers are very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. The entire staff, from the owners, manager, instructors, range officers and the front desk have all been awesome. This is a very welcoming range, while still keeping everyone safe. Warning though...can become very addicting!

We , myself and two friends had the best gun training class by Chris. He was so knowledgeable on all of our guns. Very nice and professional. We left the class plus shooting time, much more confident in our handling of our firearms. Price was reasonable for a 3 hour class. We would all recommend this firearms training class to everyone. My wife and I visited the Prescott Shooting Range today whilst on vacation from the UK, and had an introduction to pistols session with Pete. We were novices when it came to handguns although have shot before. For the classroom element Pete tailored the session to our needs and experience levels (while keeping in mind we were on holiday)- it was so informative and gave us absolute confidence we were going to have a fun and safe practical session. When it came to the shooting, we had all the ammunition needed to put the fundamentals into practice. We both walked out of there feeling really understood the fundamentals, from the safe handling of a gun, to firing a pistol accurately we even had an introduction and the opportunity to have a go at rapid fire……all in 3 hours. I could not recommend this place highly enough, the staff were fantastic, the facility was modern, and the range was well ventilated clean and felt safe! I have been to Vegas and blasted bigger guns at human shaped paper targets at 5 yards and while that is huge fun (and ruinously expensive) you can do that almost anywhere in the US. This type of learning based recreational experience is different and was not something we have done before but I’m so glad we did…The only draw back was the wife was a better shot than me! If we get the chance we would go back again without a second thought.

My entire family and I are very impressed with the training and the facility. Pete, Val, and all of the staff are professional and helpful. They provide excellent training and continue to provide guidance every time we go in. I highly recommend this range, whether you're a novice or a pro!!!!

Staff are quick and professional. Always helpful helping with rentals or allowing you to borrow items to transfer firearms in and out of the store. Both cleaning and sighting services are done at the store. The pricing is fair and excellent work even with some firearms that may have been neglected. The range they provide is smaller than most but the range safety officer is professional and patient even helping newer shooters to learn about new purchases or how to tell what range firearms are currently sighted for. Membership is pretty standard with a lot of nice benefits and private services but is not required to use the range. Classes are also provided by knowledgeable instructors. Purchases are quick and reliable with discounted offers of membership and use of the range after purchase. Firearms are available for rent for old a newer shooters alike with options from handguns to long rifles for a small rental fee. Safety items are also provided for a small fee (3$) for use on the range. They are kept in good working condition and cleaned after each use. Ammo and accessory options are more limited.

Staff up front good. Facilities good. Rental guns (2 out of 3) jammed regularly and range supervisor not great. It's between 2-3 stars.

Pete and Val were very welcoming and explained everything to the last detail. This was my first shooting range experience in the US, and it was AMAZING the range officer was also very nice and helped with actual shooting setup I know that if I ever get to be in prescott again, I would definitely come back to this shooting range.

Very very pleased with the service I revived from this establishment. I came in a few months ago for an introduction to firearms course for 20 members of my university club. The range over delivered with their support, great teaching skills, safety, and kindness. Special shout-out to Ms. Valerie for supporting us every step of the way. I will definitely make sure to visit here again during this new year. Thank you Prescott Shooting Range & Gun Club!!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable place. I'm so glad we came across this facility. Definitely recommend going here for beginners or advance gun knowledge. My wife took a beginner lessons and by the time she was shooting I was amazed on how accurate she was.

A+ for this business. Pete, Val and all staff were excellent. Highly recommend taking a one of their group or individual training classes regardless of your shooting experience. My friend and I took the 3 hr Introduction to Handguns training class with the owner Pete. My friend was new to shooting and we wanted to go through the class together even though I had more experience. I initially felt I would be there for support but I totally feel I benefited equally. I improved my gun safety and gun handling skills with a combo of classroom and range time. I thought I had enough experience shooting over many years but found I was doing several things incorrectly which Pete helped me identify and improve. Safety is a high priority and it shows from the moment you enter the front door. This place just feels right. This is also a great place if you are exploring what gun to buy. They rent about 100 different guns and sell ammo in addition. I do like that they appear to have new stock of all the rental guns to purchase at competitive prices along with many accessories in the store. This has become my favorite place to shoot and learn.

I would gladly refer anyone looking for a clean, professional and safe environment to practice shooting, to Prescott Shooting Range and Gun Club. Ignore the comments left by clearly unreasonable and arguably dense folks below. A+ staff and service itΓÇÖs a shame that businesses have to deal with unreasonable folks that try to put down a business that serves its community by providing a place to develop one of the most valuable skill sets out there.

It became obvious after talking with Kam. I was not going to be able to use the facility today. I am new to the Prescott Shooting range and their policies. We could have saved ourselves plenty of time. If I do return (not being an expert in firearms). It would probably be best to speak with someone else more willing to accommodate to people like myself.

Fantastic facility & staff. My .22 auto kept jamming on the range & the range-master was able to assist me in safely clearing the weapon.

Great experience with an 'Introduction to Handguns' private lesson for my daughter & myself. Very professional instruction with a great sense of humor from Bill W. They are committed to teaching responsible firearm handling while at the same time making the lesson fun and sparking an interest to improve our skills further.

I am former military; the CCW class was spot-on. Bill was an amazing and engaging instructor! The staff are courteous, kind, and knowledgeable. Great gun shop. Great classes.

I hadn't fired a gun in over 25 years and never fired a shotgun. Enrolled for a solo shotgun class with Bill Waddell. I was impressed with Bill's breadth of knowledge and teaching style. The staff were all helpful and supportive. I didn't do any shopping when I was there, but I probably will in the future.

I've completed a one on one instruction, and the concealed carry weapon class. The staff here is amazing, professional, helpful and just dog gone good folks. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!
