Q: Do they sell 22 caliber handguns at Pro Armament?! I need a compact gun for home protection.
A: I'm sure they have plenty of options, but I would personally go with something bigger than a 22 like a 9mm or even larger. Your preference is what matters most. Hopefully they treat you well and answer all of your questions.

I've spent a good amount of $ at this place in my lifetime. First visit, 2 of the 3 employees I spoke to talked down to me for asking simple questions. 2nd visit, a few years later, same exact thing. Last visit, employees were incredibly short and rude. Not sure about the hiring practice here, but one requirement must be to be arrogant to anyone that doesn't pretend to be a cop. I'll gladly drive out of my way to avoid this desolate, run down, backwoods-run establishment. If you wanna pretend you're something you're not, this is the place for you. Never again.

Was in the neighborhood and stopped by to see if they had the new Canik Mete MC9 LS long slide and what they had in PCC's. When I mentioned Canik the guy said they don't carry "Turkish Glocks" or Walthers, and I kid you not, that EVERY time he went ot the range the Caniks were blowing up, slides flying off and all the other gun guys laughing at them. Absurd. Caniks are known to be some of the best guns for the money and I have a rival and the MC9 and have thousands of rounds through each without a single malfunction. Some of the best triggers around, best bang for your buck. They did have a good selection of Staccatos and CZ Shadows and guns in the 2,000-5,000 dollar range. We're not all rich. If you're looking for a quality gun in the $500-1,000 range they will laugh at you. Guy reminded me of a finance guy at a car dealership. Will lie through his teeth to sell you something ridiculously overpriced. And you can save at least $200 on any gun they have by making the extra 20 min. trip to Fin Feather Fur in Canton. I support small business when I can. I have paid more for guns at Spartan in Streetsboro, Carats and Calibers in Ravenna, Mantua Hardware and others, just to support small business. I will never step foot in this store again.

I called them to see if they had the ammunition I needed in stock. They took the time to go check and gave me a price over the phone. I told them I would be there shortly to buy some. I walked into the store for the first time about an hour later. The store is extremely well stocked the staff was friendly and helpful! As I was searching the shelves for the ammunition I was looking for, the man who I called walked up and asked if I was the one that called. I said yes and then he proceeded to help me find what I was looking for. He even went above and beyond to see if they had more in stock than what was on the shelves. All though I wasn't shopping for a rifle, he had no issue showing us the ones that caught our attention. If I was local I'd be a regular customer at this store. After looking at the 1 star reviews claiming racism at the store... I'll just say this, I'm not exactly white and I was treated very well. There were two black customers in the store while I was in there and both were being treated well. One was a woman shopping for a pistol and the sales man was kind and courteous. I could absolutely tell that she was a new gun owner too. I'm not going to discount other people's experiences but mine was clearly much different.

I have public proof of people being bullied at this place. There is no way to post the screen shots, but multiple people are stating how rude and not helpful employees are. If management can contact me, I'd be happy to share. It's absolutely ridiculous how these people have been treated in your store by your employees. Not to mention all of the reviews below mine talking about the racism they experienced. Something needs to be done.

Another 1 star rating for the worst gun shop around. Save yourself from a gut wrenching experience trying to deal with the guys working here and go somewhere else.

Let me start by saying Jeremy and the staff are all good people. Have been going here as long as I can remember. Very helpful and always willing to go out of thier way to help out whether it be a warranty issue or any of the sort. Negative reviews for this store from result from stupid people acting stupid and get treated as such. I've witnessed it personally.
