This range had an excellent, competent, careful, and engaged instructor. This was my first time with a gun, and I had a very relaxing & fun time. The session was worth more than the price, and I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend.

One of the best outdoor ranges I have been to. The layout of the property is incredible with many different options for your sporting needs. The high level of safety provided makes the facility that much better. The training and help I received for sighting in my rifle was very much appreciated. Will be going back

We have kenneled our dog "Charli" with Quail Ridge for 3 years now. Crystal and Scott do an amazing job. Charli gets excited when we start up their driveway, which is comforting and reassuring for us. Your dogs will be well cared for. Highly recommended.

My husband and I went today to shoot sporting clays. I can not speak highly enough of this range. Scott was very kind. We started the day with a safety brief that was very informative. This was the most safe I have felt at a range and we had a blast! This was my first time shooting clays and I was able to hit my first one. The course is not over complicated, it is a great and beautiful walk. Beginners to pros would have a great time here!

We had an excellent experience at Quail Ridge today with our 12 year old grandson. Scott is an excellent teacher who emphasized safety AND our grandson hit his first two clays!

Scott was very patient with our pretty inexperienced group. The focus of our time was on gun safety and the safety rules of sporting-clays shooting and of the Quail Ridge Club. Our 12-year-old grandson was able to follow everything, too. We learned a lot, felt very safe and confident, and will definitely be back.

This was a fun activity we tried out while visiting VMI. My 15 yr old son and I enjoyed clay pigeon shooting especially after the quick, yet thorough, safety briefing prior to handling riffles. Scott was very helpful and friendly. Schedule a visit and Check this place out for sure!

This is a really nice place to come shoot Sporting Clays. Scot and his wife are super nice and more that willing to help. My wife and I were traveling through the area and found this facility. Nestled in the woods the course is challenging but fun. I would highly recommend visiting. BTW, it's not just Sporting Clays. Rifle, Pistol, Instruction....etc. Go have some fun!!

Last weekend, myself and some friends visited Quail Ridge for an afternoon of shooting. Scott was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable, and we had an excellent time. His facilities are top notch, we had an excellent time on the pistol range as well as the 500 yard rifle lane. Will be returning for sure! 5 out of 5, would highly recommend, and will definitely return

Scott was a professional, courteous, and informative host. After giving a thorough safety brief to me and our guys and watching our baseline skillset. We were able to set up the range how we saw fit as long as we maintained awareness to the range itself, and each other in regards to safely running our drills. We recommend this property whole heartedly and cannot wait until we can host an event in this beautiful location.

This outdoor range is beautiful and the owner was very hospitable, and was overall a genuine and nice guy. The range was clean, and my favorite part was the 500yd range. 100% would come back and recommend to anyone who wants to stretch out their skillset. If you like outdoor ranges this one won't disappoint.

Scott trained me and my wife on firearm possession and safety, leading us to be eligible for Conceal Carry permits Virginia. His breadth and depth of experience were invaluable and his personal, engaging, and practical training approach was well received. We are grateful for our experience with Scott and will be coming back for shooting and additional scenario instruction. Scott always emphasizes safety; despite being quite green, we never felt nervous while learning. Highly recommend!

We had our 3 dogs boarded with them for 9 days and it was a fantastic experience. Our dogs are happy and healthy and was well taken care of. They allowed our dogs to be together which made them happier. I would highly recommend them.

It's pretty difficult to find a boarding place in Lex! Quail Ridge is by far the best. I've used them several times (probably 4-5 times) and every time I can tell my dog had a great time. The place is clean and every dog has time to get played with. One time I had to call last minute to have a friend drop my dog off that day for an indefinite amount of time because I had to fly back to Texas to be with my sick mother and they ABSOLUTELY took care of her like family. Great place to do my concealed carry training. Scott was awesome with his wealth of experience and knowledge. I have gotten my concealed carry in Kentucky and New York and am now in the process here in Virginia and this course should be the standard, whether you're new to firearms or not. Can't recommend enough! I will definitely be going back for further training!

Wow! Saying this place is awesome is an understatement! My group shot the IBO 3D archery Range and had a blast! The course is top notch and set up to truly reflect hunting situations! The staff were friendly, professional, knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back in the future!

I have used them quite a few times. They are extremely invested in my dog. She is a shy/timid dog, and they have taken time to let her work through some of her issues. She loves staying there and gets excited every time we drive down the driveway.

We have used this kennel several times for beloved furry family member, Ellie. The facilities are clean and well kept. Great running spaces for our high energy dog. Our dogΓÇÖs excited reaction to arriving there gives me all the confidence I need to know that she is happy and well cared for while we are away. Would highly recommend!
