Today, I went to the shooting range and actually fired a hand gun. This may seem like not a big deal to many however to me it is a huge deal. Especially after being shot recently 2023. I was had to be put on life support not knowing if I would live another second. While I will not go through the details here on that ordeal. The fact that I was did it is amazing! I told my instructor Keith about everything even me be ex-military. His approach was very very gentle and he took the necessary steps to build my confidence up. He is what we call in the military Subject matter expert!!!!!! He definitely knows his stuff. Today has been therapy for me. I was determined going in however, I was very nervous and tense. I almost turned around and left. However I accomplished my goal today. When I left I felt as if though I had a massage because i was no longer tense.I highly recommend QuickShot Shooting Range to people that has had trauma of being shot. I beg you, please do yourself justice and come to the gun range. Don't focus on your trauma remember this time you have to focus on protecting yourself and your love ones. My psychologist will be amazed that I actually went through with it. Oh and check out my shot group.🎯 I promise this will be one of the best thing for your therapy. Again Keith is an amazing instructor. They have a wide range on hand guns to choose from. They also offer classes on obtaining your permit. I will keep coming back. Thanks a million times and over.

Took the Concealed Weapons Permit class there. Keith (the owner) taught the class, and was excellent! This guy is passionate about his job and proves it to you in the first 10 minutes. He said "I'm not just your instructor for this class, I'm your instructor for life. [Reach out to me anytime in the future with questions or concerns.]" I actually took him up on that a week later and he gave me an instant response and told me to come see him at the range (no purchase necessary) :)

Took a concealed carry class here and plan to come back and practice in the future. The class was an education. It didnΓÇÖt feel as long as it was because Keith, the instructor, made it informative as well as fun. He had great stories and had great examples for different scenarios. Keith is extremely serious about gun handling and gun safety. IΓÇÖve emailed him since the course and he is quick to respond and was very helpful with how to complete the process to get your permit (fingerprints, etc.).

Keith Eskridge is the MAN! He was our instructor for our CWP class at Quickshot and was absolutely fantastic. He was SO knowledgeable, informative, and thorough with his teachings. His instruction and assistance on the range was top-notch. If you're looking for someone to help you get to know your weapon better, instruction and/or pointers on shooting, or general knowledge about firearms & safety, I cannot recommend Keith enough!! 10/10!!

My son and I had a wonderful and great time here. The staff here is amazing, A very knowledgeable environment safety (priority) at its best! The customer service was friendly and outstanding! Any questions needed to be asked all three men ( I canΓÇÖt remember their names but IΓÇÖm sure they are always there working) did not hesitate at all to answer them. We both will be returning back at this establishment again. I will definitely make this my gun range to go to and recommend to anyone! Wish I can give more than five stars !

Range is up to par! Solid staff! Extremely prifessional, and if you need to reload, they've got you. Love living a few minutes away, and have this spot to enjoy shooting down range.

Great staff! Friendly, knowledgeable, and put safety first. It can get quite busy but things still move along quite smooth. I will definitely stop in anytime IΓÇÖm in town.

DO NOT GO HERE. It is dirty, unkempt, and horrible conditions. C&S is far superior. They charged me way over the rates posted. $617 for three people for ONE LANE for an HOUR. The rental prices are ABSURD. They are getting away with robbery. This same exact experience would cost me $130 for 3 people at C&S. They showed no effort in helping me to understand the additional charges, I will disputing with my bank and my lawyer if needed. Absolutely unacceptable.

Staff was weird and the place is super small. Sad there isn't many ranges in Charleston.

Range is nice and well kept up but if you go with more people than just yourself, they try to put everyone on one booth and charge everyone. 18 dollars an hour for us to all have to take turns on one booth even though we all paid for a range pass? No thanks. And the owner is rude. He tried to yell at me for shooting fast meanwhile they rent out machine guns that go faster than my finger ever could. Would not waste my time with the one on Sam Rittenberg

Nice & compact indoor range. They have everything you need from earpro, eyepro, targets, & ammo. There are also quite a few full auto weapons available for rental.

I came in on a Thursday night in August 2024. It was 5:50 pm. I was told they were closing soon and that I could only shoot until 6:30pm. I noticed that the closing time had changed from 8 to 7pm, but why did I have to stop at 6:30 and pay the FULL price? I didnΓÇÖt even try to argue, I just wanted to try out a new gun. If the owners are ok with this, thatΓÇÖs fine, itΓÇÖs their business. I only posted this in case they werenΓÇÖt aware the employees were causing them to receive bad rep. The range is great for indoor training. Never had any issues with something not working. Everyone encourages safety and the area is kept clean. The one star is because I donΓÇÖt like to feel shorted. Especially these days with the cost of everything.

One of the worst ranges IΓÇÖve been too. The staff was very short and not friendly at all. If you asked the range officer a question you could see that he was annoyed and did not want to talk to you. The rage was absolutely gross. They didnΓÇÖt pick up the brass in what looked like over a month. They just pushed it in front of the bays. CanΓÇÖt believe thatΓÇÖs actually aloud and not a fire hazard or something.

ItΓÇÖs a Thursday evening 7/18/24, they advertise that they close at 8 pm. I went there at 6:02 PM. Before the clerk could talk the ΓÇ£securityΓÇ¥ guard was like are you by yourself. We close at 6:30 pm. First of all he works as security, he should not be speaking on behalf of the range. The clerk clearly said 7 PM and the security guard repeated ΓÇ£gotta be out by 6:30ΓÇ¥. YΓÇÖall are losing a heck of a lot of customers because behind me were many customers that didnΓÇÖt think to waste money for less than 30 mins. IΓÇÖll make the extra drive and go somewhere else thatΓÇÖs more friendly. I actually liked this place because itΓÇÖs convenient and nearby to where and I work and live but I will just make the drive out for better service.

Great shooting range, my wife had an issue with her new pistol and the staff tried everything to help, turns out it was an assembly issue that I remedied, can't say enough good about the staff and range

Very over priced and a dismissive staff member. I wouldn't recommend nor will I be back. Guy who was there when I checked out could barely even be bothered to acknowledge me. There are far better places to shoot in the greater charleston area

Horrible experience with the staff of this place today. It was my first time there and after today I definitely won’t be back. Please feel free to let me know if I’m the one who is out of line here… but I had a malfunction with my gun ( I didn’t have it oiled enough ) so it it stopped shooting for me. Confused on what I should do, I unloaded it, took the round out of the chamber, released the magazine and pulled the slide back. I made sure the gun was visibly unloaded from a distance. I walked out to the lobby with the hopes that they would inspect it for me, and immediately this dude behind the counter screamed at me and told me to get back in the range now. Like I said, the gun was visibly unloaded. He then came in and told me they should’ve kicked me out for that. With all this said… I’m aware that it would’ve been wise of me to just leave the pistol in the range. But I felt his reaction was extremely dramatic and unjustified. I don’t believe any other place would’ve treated a first time customer like that. If you want a good range with a really friendly staff, you should go to C and S shooting in North Charleston. Will not be returning to this place.

Big black dude that did my gun transfer was VERY rude and demeaning. Every single phone call and interaction for no apparent reason, to the point where it was comical. Plenty of other gun ranges and brokers around town.

Visited in August 2023, had a blast. We had a great instructor/rso who showed us the full autos we rented. 10/10 will go next time I'm in Charleston.

Current staff is very good. Convenient location. This review has nothing to do with them. It has to do with Quickshot policy of not maintaining a tidy range like every other indoor range IΓÇÖve been to. Again, this isnΓÇÖt because the employees are slack, itΓÇÖs because Quickshot leadership doesnΓÇÖt prioritize having a well kept range. It struck me as odd and slack the first time I shot at this range, but it wasnΓÇÖt really an issue until tonight. My XS F8 front sight flew off my pistol, I noticed it immediately. These sights are not only pricey, they no longer make the sights I lost. The range was about to close. So itΓÇÖs not like I was holding up the entire range. Since they have such a unkept range, finding my front sight is a near impossibility. I wasnΓÇÖt allowed to sift thru the thousands of spent casings, prob wouldnΓÇÖt have done any good any way. Any other indoor range in this area is so well kept, I may have had to wait to get the sight, but it would have been very easy to find. As most ranges are kept very clean, and my front sight would have been the only thing on the floor. IΓÇÖve shot at this range at least 50 times over the last few years. IΓÇÖm not some slappy. Things like this happen, and I should be able to retrieve my sights. Even at an outdoor range, I would have eventually found it. Also, it has to be a health hazard to leave spent casings piled up like that with all the heavy metals right there. The amount of effort it takes to keep a range tidy by the shooters and staff is minimal. Picture doesnΓÇÖt capture the mess, but it shows IΓÇÖm not a slappy.

Love this place as loyal. Keith is awesome. Jessie is great too. Respect them and the range and they respect you. This is serious stuff. A well run operation. I will continue to go there. Plus the range is lit very well. I like this a lot

Update: From 1 star to 5 stars. We went to the shop yesterday to pickup our item. We talked with Mr. Kieth(manager), we discussed about what happened, and he made our transaction smoothly and well-taken care of. He gave us his email and number so we can reach him incase we are going to have a transfer again or have any problems in the future. Thank you Mr. Keith This is my go-to range as I am a member here. This range has always been good to me but my recent experience here is not great. Before, it was fast to get an ffl transfer(they will call you as soon as they can and ask for you to pickup). Now, it is so slow. My package came to the shop wednesday, I called them to ask if they received it and when can I pick it up, they said that I can get it on saturday. I went there today(friday)to shoot, and asked if what time I can pick up my package tomorrow(saturday) but they insisted that I cannot get it on saturday and it will be on monday because there are no transfers on saturday. Service quality here has declined over time with new people manning the shop.

The Place is convenient to get since we live in West Ashley, but the people are rude and few are not even qualified to check bags in Wallmart. Better drive 15 min to C&S Shooting Sports if you want to enjoy the smell of gunpowder and feel safe with professional employees. (To the girl employee with the tattoos that canΓÇÖt recognize the direction that the gun is placed, get better training or you might get someone hurt)

DonΓÇÖt ever buy a gun and ship it here. Slowest process youΓÇÖll ever deal with; and thatΓÇÖs if the person who can legally transfer the sale is even there. A big waste of time ultimately wouldnΓÇÖt do business with them

Good range however the times posted are not accurate. This range closes at 7:30. Asked the employees to make this explicitly clear when a customer walks in at 6:50, avoids customer frustration. I wouldΓÇÖve come the next day to ensure I shot the full hour I paid for.

Have used this range dozens of times and have had nothing but positive experiences until today. Ralph is the reason and my first encounter with him. He starts out trying to lean my rifle against a glass case barrel down with nothing supporting it. Not another soul around and I pulled down my safety glasses to adjust my scope with rifle on safety and the bolt open. Ralph standing over my shoulder the entire time, yells at me for pulling my glasses down and when I let him know IΓÇÖve done this to adjust my scope. He kicks me out of the range. This guy is a serious loser and scores a F in customer service. Avoid Ralph
