Went to this gun range expecting it to be ok most gun ranges want you to take your ammo and make it safe so no ammo's and unload Read the sign on the door they wanted you to have a case i do not have a case was not going to leave my guns unattended in my truck while I went in to ask for a case My guns were unloaded and safe. Went into inquire about how to come in if they had cases available for me to put them in The guy flew off the handle and then handed me two cases while being extremely rude Walk back outside put them in cases came back in still belittling me about not doing what the sign said I didn't have cases and I wasn't leaving them in my vehicle for someone to potentially smash a window and steal them proceeded to take my guns out of his cases because I was leaving did not want him saying that I was stealing he then proceeded to attack me trying to snatch my guns away from me and then shoving me outside the door The second shove I swung at him and he proceeded to pull his gun on me or acting like he was going to pull his gun on me this is not a very friendly place would not recommend at all Hope this post helps people someone's going to get shot and it's by them

Fui a pasar un día diferente e ir a aprender un poco y me atendió un señor mayor que nos discriminó y nos sacó del lugar “por no saber inglés “. I always have an amazing experience when I come shooting here. Darrell is an amazing RSO. He handles any unsafe situation with respect and doesn't berate or talk down to you if you happen to make a mistake. Tons of lanes and it's usually not very busy. Best place to shoot in Ocala by far.

Pretty straightforward gun range. You pay per hr or go all you want with an annual membership. Not much shopping you can do there nor is there a gunsmith on site (at least to my knowledge). the range itself is clean and there is a/c

My wife and I shoot every week here for the past two years. Frank is great and the range is well kept. There are safety rules for a reason and signs everywhere telling you what to do. I shoot all pistol caliber rifles here as explained in the rules.

Probably the worst shooting range experience I've ever had. Multiple pages of waivers. Staffed by an elderly guy who was wildly rude throughout my interactions. Can't wear a holstered weapon in the door despite carrying with a permit - this is something I've never seen before at a range, and certainly not in Florida. No drawing from the holster. All targets must be 24x36 inches and they won't let you shoot at smaller, no matter what you say. Between the safety video in which you can tell the "head Instructor" is a lawyer (which he feels the need to have written on a white board in the main room of the place), and the overall treatment, the place feels outright hostile and not like an enjoyable experience, which it should be. Every other range is equally safe and you don't feel threatened or overly scrutinized. The entire place is also dingy, and the bathroom looks like it was used in a Saw movie, complete with dripping rusted sink and a light that flickered on 20 seconds after the others. The range itself is ok - same as most other indoor ranges. But the experience is garbage. Go to a different range.

ItΓÇÖs an ok range but I feel they take the fun out of shooting or for people learning to shoot. ItΓÇÖs supposed to be a fun experience. I understand you need to have safety rules in place when dealing with firearms but in my opinion they take it a little too far. I personally prefer outdoor ranges but donΓÇÖt know of any in ocala. Again. ItΓÇÖs supposed to be a fun sport. They just gotta lighten up a bit. ThatΓÇÖs all.

If I can give them a zero I would. Spoke with a gentleman by the name of Stew. Absolutely disrespectful and does not know customer service even if it smacked him in his mouth. Do not recommend.

The two old guys that works there at the counter are both very rude and just right down ignorant. They use to yell at customers and threat to throw them out for any little mistake. I would not recommend going there.

Went with my nephew and told the guy I was the responsible adult and should sign the release, he started telling me NO and was rude about it saying someone got shot and I need paperwork so I said fine and preceded to leave and started talking about me as I was walking out halfway to the door with some other customers behind me. I will tell EVERYONE I know to NEVER go there. They will NEVER get my money again.

Have used the R&D Tactical Solutions / Ocala Gun Range since moving to Ocala in 2018. I find the staff very professional and the facility excellent for target practice. Also wife and I took a CC class with Howard which was fantastic.

Went there today to shoot, new in town, walked in with an unloaded Shotgun not in a case (my fault) an employee started screaming behind the counter "get out" !! He explained the gun must be in a case so I asked to buy one and he said we don't sell cases but you can have this used one for 20 bucks. I said great! Put it on my bill I will bring back the shotgun in the case. NO! He said...you must give me 20 dollars before the used beat up case leaves the store!! He said. "Cash only" after 20 minutes or so of going back and forth he decided to tell me they don't allow shotguns in their so called "state of the art" range. One of the most bizarre gun range experiences in my life. Will definitely go somewhere else.

As IΓÇÖm new to the area, I saw that this was the only shooting range in town. I arrived at 6:10 PM after work. Although the range closes at seven, this was still more than enough time to get some shooting done. The doors were locked, and I knocked on the door a couple times. Eventually, a grumpy old man came out and said that they were closed. I mentioned the sign says they are open till seven and he mentioned that it is an unwritten rule that people do not come after six. Very disappointed. IΓÇÖll be taking my business to shooters world even though itΓÇÖs a drive away.
