Walked into this store excited to check out some new gear, but left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. The staff barely acknowledged me when I came in, and when they finally did, their tone was cold and dismissive. I noticed they were friendly and chatty with other customers, but with me, it was like I was an inconvenience. I asked a couple of questions about a firearm, and they gave me short, vague answers like they didn't want to help. It wasnΓÇÖt just bad customer serviceΓÇöit felt like there was something more behind their attitude, like they had already judged me the second I walked through the door. IΓÇÖve been to plenty of gun stores, and this was by far the most uncomfortable experience IΓÇÖve had. If youΓÇÖre looking for a welcoming, respectful environment, IΓÇÖd suggest taking your business elsewhere.

Terrible customer service. Walked out and walked back in just to see if there was a difference, but nothing. Plenty of local shops in town IΓÇÖd rather go too. Very disappointing.

I purchased a membership last year because they had a good price at the time. In that year I had a child and lost a mother, I ended up not using RAC except one time to purchase a rifle to which my membership had no effect or advantage for the sale. My walk in experience was good and they have always been friendly. Naturally I lost track of the year , I figured my membership had lapsed and thought nothing of it. I never received an email saying ΓÇ£ hey membership anniversary is coming!ΓÇ¥ Therefore never remembered there would be an auto charge coming. Well they charged me and I called to ask if they could refund it, I explained my situation and they reminded me of the contract I signed for auto renewal. I explained that I understood that and thought being a local business would understand and give me a break, after all itΓÇÖs only $200 itΓÇÖs not like it will break their bank but definitely breaks mine. Just like a corporate gym they told me too bad so sad and reminded me how lucky I was the price was $200 and not $350! They then started to tell me to come in once a month and buy ammo to put my $200 to good use. Buy that point I understood they were taking every advantage they knew they had and I decided I will do business elsewhere. I sent an email requesting to no longer renew my membership. Do not mistake this business for a local charming business, these folks are a bit cutthroat.

Took the ccw class last wknd. Rick and Heather do a great job presenting this class. If ever in the need for a ccw or training of both safety and technique you owe to yourself to chech these folks out. You won't be sorry Just renewed my ccw, my how time flies. Again top notch everything and even better this time in New building with indoor range. As usual Rick and Heather knocked it out of the park. This is where you go in Reno for anything gun related or any self- defense training. REMEMBER YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SECURITY AND SAFETY, police are merely there to investigate after the fact.

I took my brother to the range to shoot for his birthday. We both know nothing about firearms and Nathan was above and beyond in making our experience comfortable and enjoyable. The service is great and employees are more than happy to inform and teach. ItΓÇÖs a welcoming atmosphere and I would definitely recommend them especially for newcomers and others like myself with limited knowledge.

When I move back home, RAC will be my 'go to spot'. Went there for the first time three weeks ago, while back home on a visit and loved it. For a shop that has multiple things going on (gun store, MMA gym, coffee shop/eatery, gun range), I was amazed that it wasn't full of 'tough guy' mentalities. Like in Las Vegas. One of the owner's, I believe, checked-out my purchase and was extremely friendly. I will definitely be back!

My wife and were extremely satisfied with our visit. From the nice lady at the front, to Christian inside the range. Christian was extremely friendly and helpful. Helped us with tips and tricks on how to use our guns and how to get better results when it comes to aiming and shooting, posture etc. we immediately felt home. My wife doesnΓÇÖt speak much English but they still talked to her and made her feel comfortable. A great staff can make or break a business but this one has definitely gotten it right when it comes to service and hospitality. I read a negative comment about staff being racist. I can assure you that we did not experience that at all knowing that my wife didnΓÇÖt even speak English and myself being a non white ambiguous looking person.

I've been a frequent visitor at this store over the last couple of years, and let me tell you, it's a gem. My wife kicked off her CCW journey there earlier this year, my brother joined the club last year, and I got my recertification done in October. What's great about these guys? They're as real as it gets - straight shooters, no fluff, just the cold hard truth. That's the vibe I vibe with. I had a blast in my class, and Ric and Heather? Absolute legends. Ric's got that spicy edge, but it's all from a place of wanting to keep you out of the danger zone. These folks are passionate about the Second Amendment and genuinely want you to excel as a gun owner. Oh, and about that one review where some dude felt "profiled"? Here's my two cents - sounds like someone's a bit too sensitive. When you step in here, check your feelings at the door, buttercup. This place is about safety, skills, and the love for firearms. Thanks for keeping it real, team! Keep doing what you're doing.

Sweet local gun store with rad employees that go the extra mile for their customers; I enjoyed my time in their range, and the work they did on a set of handguns I gave them was completed in a timely manner without any hiccup. Love that ownership is present in everyday business, really shows that the business owners intend on keeping their customers happy :) thanks RAC!

Stopped in the other day for the first time for no real reason just to browse, everyone was super personable and helpful, digged the vibe so I went to the range today. Flawless experience, I signed up for a year membership and CCW class immediately. Definitely a place I will be spending a lot of time in. They make you feel like family and they clearly love and care about what they do and what they (and we all) believe in. Extra thanks to the range officer who kindly helped me with a jam and also gave me some tips that completely changed my game in an instant. Felt like I'd already been there a hundred times, and with my new membership, soon that will be the case haha Clearly the hub for the neighborhood and rightly so. Thanks guys and see you soon! Addition: Did my CCW class today, just wanted to say thanks to Rick and Heather for the great day. Learned a lot and gained many new things to think about from different angles. They couldn't be any nicer or any more passionate about everything they believe in, and it comes through in everything they do, from CCW classes, to just every day in the store. Thanks guys and I always love being at my new home!

I have bought 2 guns from RAC and the owners and staff are very helpful and nice. Never pressured to buy always willing to answer my questions. Me and my children have been here many times to use the range and let me tell you sparks NV. I would NEVER go no where else !! Period. My daughter is going to take her ccw class and we are very happy to have a moms and pops shop that serves our community!!

Rick & Heather have an amazing business and crew at RAC. The price for the CCW course is the best period with the amount of knowledge you leave with. The store is stocked incredibly well and very clean. The selection of firearms to ammo is awesome. They have the best prices in the area period and will match competitors prices. One thing that stood out to me and the others that were attending this course was that all the staff wanted to be there on a Saturday no less. Rick & Heather are very good instructors and repeatedly asked if we all had questions and made sure we all understood the subject matter every time. The amount of safety and professionalism at this business is top notch. If your on the fence of where to go for the CCW course or anything else they provide look no farther and book with RAC.

I came here with an open mind despite bad and good reviews, and after my own experience here definitely will be the once and only time I come here. Over charged and rude employees. Either way not a loss for me or this place.

My husband and I took our CCW class this past weekend at RAC. It was a great class. They kept everyone engaged in the training material and conversation, went above and beyond to ensure we were all properly informed of all the necessary information and hands on training for qualifications. GREAT PLACE!!

Best one stop spot for everything MMA CCW class, Self defense firearms safety & shooting range. I've been coming to RAC for 15+ years owners are Amazing people and the staff are very Knowledgeable. Highly recommend anyone stop by and check them out. Coffee spot next door is great too.

We've really enjoyed doing business with RAC and we are now members. I recently completed my CCW renewal, learned a lot. As for the owners Rick and Heather, wonderful people and they really care about their clients. Now, guns are not for 'weak people' and neither is Rick. He call's it as it is and if you get your feelings hurt easily, then take lessons from someone passionate and will hold you and cry along with you. He was fun to kid with during the class, but very in you face, regarding his beliefs, and I appreciate that. Does Heather push clients to use certain caliber of guns, YES, she did that to my wife during her CCW class as my wife was using a 38 revolver, so thank you Heather as the wife is now comfortable with a Sig Sauer 9.
