RAINCITY SHOOTING CENTER

Q: Hello. We are French citizens and are coming to Seattle this summer. Can we shoot in a shooting range? Thanks !!
A: Hello, the cost is $14 for first shooter and $12 for the second shooter using the same lane. Rosa Champion Arms

A: How much does it cost for one person to come shoot with their own gun an ammo for 1 hr? I've checked the website but I can't can't to find anything.
- Diamond Gaming (3 years ago)
A: I have been a American citizen all my life. I have a Washington state driver's license. Copy of my SS card. Do I still need a passport just to use your facility?
- Margaret Eaton (3 years ago)
A: Yes but you will have to bring your passport along and read the conditions of the range (in English). Highly recommended. If you haven't shot before, start small and let them know. You may also want to bring additional ear protection, or purchase the ear plugs if you intend on staying a while.

A: Yes you can

A: Sounds like they do 👍
- Eat Carbs Outdoors (6 years ago)
A: Yes, we do. Just let us know when you come in and we would be glad to show the basics. Champion Arms

Q: Hi, I was wondering if you allow Ar15's chambered in 5.56 to be shot at your range? If so, are there any ammo restrictions? Thanks a ton!
A: Yes, you may shoot your AR 15. Yes, you would need to use frangible ammunition. You can only use our frangible ammunition. Champion Arms
- RAINCITY SHOOTING CENTER (5 years ago)
A: They allow 5.56 ar 15s as long as you are shooting frangible ammo. They may require you to buy theirs, can't recall
- Jimmy Son (5 years ago)
Q: Can I shoot a bb gun at the range?
A: Yes, you can shoot a BB gun.
- Rosalinda Yoxtheimer (5 years ago)
Q: does this range allow .44 magnum rounds?
A: We sure do, come on down!

Q: Can I use my 20 gauge shotgun?
A: No shotguns
- K. Darrough (5 years ago)
A: Unfortunately no.
- RAINCITY SHOOTING CENTER (5 years ago)
Q: Do they allow people to come by their self?
A: If you have your own firearm with you, you may come rent a lane a shoot by yourself. However, if you do not own a firearm and plan on renting out firearms to shoot, you will need to have another person 21 or over with you. We do not rent guns to solo shooters without a firearm already in their possession.
- RAINCITY SHOOTING CENTER (a month ago)
A: Yes just make sure you have the correct ammo that they require.

Rain city has some of the most friendly staff around and will work with you to order something if they don't have it in stock. The range isn't the best in terms of space behind the bench, but it's well maintained and the RSOs take safety very seriously. I've been coming here since they opened, and it's quickly become my go-to range and gun store.

I took a beginners firearm training course for women taught by Mona. She was very patient, professional and thorough. I learned a lot from her. If you're inexperienced with firearms and want to get more comfortable, I highly recommend Mona as an instructor. She's the best.

It was very exciting, after many years of not shooting and the staff made it easier for me despite it being my first time in that place.

I signed up for a basic pistol class with Raincity and the experience was great! The instructors were very easy going and provided a thorough curriculum. Aside from the class, the other staff were also friendly and gave help tips and recommendations for a newcomer.

Went to this place to allow a military friend to fire my versa thunder since he wanted to purchase the same one. I was visiting from out of state and figured I would hit the range a little myself as well. Never expected a lecture on why a 9mm is better than a .40 CAL. We were instructed to read the range rules and sign the waiver. I had a Quentin for one of the range staff members standing behind us. I called out 3 times and got no response, the young man was too busy on his phone. The fourth time he said, oh the date is right in front of you. We were only able to purchase ammo for the .380 because their ammo selection was limited. Once on the range, the shooting part was fine. When my old shipmate wanted to see another one of my firearms I handed it to him and the same African American gentleman from earlier who lectured us about why the .40 CAL was created came over and said my friend turned my firearm directly at me. I have been shooting and training for close to 30 years now, first as a range coach in the military and then as a civilian. I have probably been training and shooting longer than this kid has been alive. Instead of arguing the fact we decided to leave. Will never come back to this place nor recommend it to anyone I know. Update: After reading the owners response to people who have had issues at this range I realize the root of the problem. Sir this is the perfect place to warn others about a negligent discharge, a damaged firearm by staff, and several other issues you decided to tell clients should not be posted on a review. Your condescending responses shows why your employees feel it is OK to treat people that way. Respect should not be sacrificed for safety especially when your range has limited space and unprofessional staff. Have you ever heard of walking the line to make sure all firearms are on the table and safe? Probably not. But I would not expect that from a place such as this. My review stands.
