Q: Puedo disparar con steel case Is steel cased allowed at the range?
A: Yes you can. I have seen plenty of steel case on the floor. They have a list of banned ammo at the counter. Steel case is not on the list just caliber and some bullet types are banned such as 5.45x39 and m855 .556 green tip for instance as they have steel cores.
- Brad Maresh (a year ago)
A: No steel cases rounds are allowed
- Jimmy Wilson (a year ago)
Q: Are nerf guns allowed? I have the new fortnite pistol and wanna try it out.
A: No. That's too strong for this range.
- Noe Bravo (2 years ago)
Q: Do you install scopes
A: Yes
- David Edwards (a month ago)
Q: Back when this location was 'Shoot Point Blank', this store offered house brand reloads for most calibers that were pretty affordable. Is this still the case, or did this stop when the company changed names/ownership?
A: I do not know about house brand ammo I bring my own so I wasn't looking for ammo but now I'm going to check it out
- Robert Phares (6 months ago)
Q: How old should I be to go there 17 years old is it enough.
A: Yeah but you have to be a company with a adult
- Ronald Johnson Jr (10 months ago)
Q: I like my grandson who is 10yrs old. What are y'all's Policies and procedures?
A: Just give them a call for the most accurate information.
- Chris G (10 months ago)

A: They offer an online course
- Gerald Kimbley (a year ago)

A: You can bring your own ammo for your firearms but if you are using ours, you must purchase the ammo from us.
- Range USA Cypress (a year ago)
Q: How many guns are allowed per shooter on lane/range?
A: As long as you are safety transporting them, you may bring as many as you'd like as long as it does not become problematic with walk ways or any other customers. Please be sure to keep track of your firearms as we are not responsible for them.

First let me say the staff in my experience were friendly and attentive. My bad review has more to do with the crazy policies this place has. I went here today with my step son (he’s 18 and has his license to carry) and they would only allow him to shoot rifles being under 21… he has an LTC and his own firearm. So basically he’s old enough to die for his country but not old enough to fire his legally owned, legally carried firearm. Second im a fully disabled veteran. I asked about the military discount on some magazines I was buying and they refused to give it to me unless I had a membership.. so my service isn’t really appreciated unless I pay you a membership fee. Got it. Overall it felt disgusting supporting a place like this. Ill never return and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There are alot better places to frequent close by. Your policies are garbage. This is Texas. It isnt New York or California or any of those other communist states.

Bought a couple of guns there, they have a good selection, but pricier than you can find elsewhere, same thing with ammo. I typically use it as I do Best Buy....for window shopping only, then go buy what I like elsewhere. Still nice place to go window shop I would give it high rating from that perspective. As far as the range is concerned, it is convenient to where I live, 10 minutes away, but not a pleasant shooting experience most times I've been there. Lanes are narrow and unfortunately, there are lots of patrons with higher caliber guns that get supper noisy (e.g. 223/5.56 with short barrels etc.) so much so its hard to focus on what you're doing. I have cut my range time short numerous times just to get away from the concussion those guns produce in those closed environments. I suggest the store consider implementing days/times where certain calibers/gun types are prohibited. Don't get me wrong, I have some of those caliber guns and enjoy them, but I never use them at indoor ranges, for they can be unpleasant in those environments.

Wish their website or application process told applicants that they discriminate against people with visible tattoos. Drove 30 minutes for an interview, arrived early and was told immediately “let’s just end this right here. Sorry no visible tattoos or beards.” As the employee Chris had a full faced beard… I think it’s ridiculous that it’s 2025 and we still stigmatize great workers with fantastic resumes and work history, because of non vulgar, visible tattoos? Art? With all this stupid forced diversity and still, no one is making it less restrictive for non vulgar tattoos to be allowed? I will never give this range a cent and I was going to buy a Glock 19 gen 5 today after the interview. I hope more people spend their money elsewhere so they change their outdated 1950s tattoo policy. Even though my tattoos are genuinely religious, Hebrew and have to do with my faith, I was rejected on sight. How rude to make people drive an hour, there and back, with no warning. So disrespectful and prejudice. Spend your time and money on businesses that don’t discriminate on something as stupid as religious tattoos. I’ve worked at Athena Gun club and they make more money as a unit than range USA and was never discriminated against. Athena has $10000 VIP memberships just to sign up (upfront)… still hire people with tattoos...no excuse Range USA doesn’t have high end guests or clients. or memberships over $200... and yet their business is so prestigious, they can't have people with visible tattoos work for their company? What a joke lol This company will be bought out eventually. Dehumanizing and illogical. Keep your pathetic $10 an hour lol not even worth the interview or negotiating a higher wage to represent your pathetic company. People also make more flipping burgers. $10 to be around firearms and increased risk? Genuinely, what an embarrassment.

Review for Range USA As a first-time shooter, I couldnΓÇÖt have asked for a better experience at Range USA! The staff was incredibly friendly and created such a welcoming, judgment-free environment. I never felt rushed or sensed any frustration from them, even as I learned the ropes. Their patience and professionalism truly stood out. I was so impressed that I signed up for a membership! The focus on education and customer service here is unmatched, making it a perfect place for both beginners and seasoned shooters. I highly recommend Range USA to anyone looking for a supportive and enjoyable shooting range experience.

I recently visited Range USA in Cypress with my mom and girlfriend, and it was their first experience at a shooting range. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing visit. We waited in line for a long time without anyone acknowledging or communicating with us. When it was finally our turn, we were informed that they would be closing soon, which completely wasted our time. There was only one staff member processing clients, which added to the inefficiency. To make matters worse, my mom has a knee problem, and the long wait was especially uncomfortable for her. I asked her to sit down while I am in the line waiting. Better communication and staffing could have made this experience more manageable. This was a bad first-time experience, and I do not plan on returning. I hope they work on improving their customer service for future visitors. I am going to try other places personally.

No. Never. Absolutely not. Never again. About face. Halt. Freeze! Reverse. Backup. Run away. Keep clear. Speed pass. No parking. Negative! Do not waste your time. Attention all people with purchasing power. Stay as far away from this place at all cost. The customer service is the very worse on this planet. The prices are a bit higher. The range lanes are small and tight so it feels like you are crowded in like sardines. You can only shoot lugs and don't dare buy a gun from here as it instantly loses its value and they compare it to buying a car. So I have been to this place 4 times. Purchased a riffle, got the whole membership thing and returned a month later to buy a handgun. I was talked into buying a specific model that they didn't have to rent to test. (Yes, to test any gun you have to pay to rent it first.) So I bought it, didn't like it, took it home overnight to think it through and decided to take it back to trade or return it for a model with a safety. So you have to talk to the manager to inspect the gun before you can trade it in. They offered me half the price I bought it for literally 2 days later from when I bought it and it was shot 1 time. I told them I wanted one with a safety. So with some casual back and forth to explain my concern about wanting a safety these dudes told me they refuse to let me trade in the gun even if I agreed to take the half price hit. They wanted to force me to keep the gun and get used to it instead of allowing me to trade it in at a lost to me all because I wanted a safety on it as the gun was going to be a gift for my wife. I was shocked. Wait .. I WAS SHOCKED! That's better. So I say, wait?! "So you don't want me to trade it in because you disagree with my reasoning and you will not sell me the one I want because you want me to keep this gun I don't want and keep coming back to pay for practicing with it more until she's comfortable with it vs me take a lost and getting another one that she is already used too." They said, "exactly." I said cancel my membership and I will never come back here again. I left there angry, found another spot up the street who traded it with zero problems with a way, way, way less hit than Suck Range USA and then the new spot was like, "if you buy anything from us you have 30 days to return it for full price." I'm like ..heck yes! So. Never shop at Range USA. Don't even waste your time on the tight range where even the target button never works right or at all. And they don't even warn you that the moment you buy anything from them, that you can only take it back for half of what you paid for it. Range USA is out of range! Stay safe and Prosper.

So far, itΓÇÖs a good place to go shooting. However, it seems like they nickel and dime you for everything. Targets should be included in the membership. Another shooting club I used to be a member of did not charge for targets. Ammo is somewhat pricey. $19 for a box of 9 mm is just too much.
