The indoor range is pretty bad. No storage areas for your firearms, bags, or accessories in the range area other than a couple of tables and the floor. Range is very dimly lit making it very difficult to see your sights clearly. Extremely high transfer fee for firearms at $75 a pop (most shops charge only $25). But they will push you to start a range subscription for $60 so youΓÇ¥saveΓÇ¥ money. And of course when you forget about the subscription and it auto-renews the next month, you will be charged again and no refunds. DonΓÇÖt bother trying to trade a gun as you are likely to get a better offer at a pawn shop. I suggest going to almost any independent gun shop instead of this massive corporation. 2-25-2025 - Range USA continues to suck. Stopped in to look at a FN 502 Tactical 22LR pistol as they have one in stock. In store price is $529. But they show on their website, it is on sale for $468. But it is an online price only and they won't match their on price in the store. Would have to order online and have it delivered to the store days later for pickup. What a clown-show. Left from there and went to Triggers a couple of miles away and bought the EXACT SAME pistol for $429, $456 out the door. That is less after tax than Range USA's online sale price.

I honestly wish I could give this particular location 0 stars. I came in to the Florence location on 02/07/2025. I had been looking for a Canik Rival-S Darkside for a WHILE, and I saw that they had one in stock. Upon entering the location with my boyfriend, I was completely ignored. I found the pistol I was looking for in the display case, and I was still ignored by the three employees on the floor (not including the two at the range counter). I continued to look around for a couple minutes, and I found another pistol I was interested in in one of the other display cases. I stood by the display case for at least 20 minutes, and I continued to be ignored by all employees. There was no acknowledgement that I was even in the store. At that point I begrudgingly left empty-handed. I decided to check out Spyder Arms in Alexandria afterwards, and I found the Canik Rival-S Darkside there. Not only were they very helpful and friendly at Spyder Arms, but the pistol was $100 cheaper. I found the second pistol I was eyeing for $50 cheaper there, too. I have been to many Range USA locations in several states, and this was BY FAR the least friendly location of them all. I feel like it had to do with the fact that I do not appear like the "typical" gun buyer (purple hair, etc.). Honestly, their loss. I would much rather drop that amount of money in a location that will at the very least acknowledge my existence.

We had a group of 16 men from our church go to the range for a fun outing. I talked to the range ahead of time. They recommended we arrive first thing to assure we could all get in together. Most of our group did waivers ahead of time which is the key to getting through the line fast. We occupied the entire far range and had a great time. Tom, our RSO, was great. He helped out some of the guys as he had time. We had guys who hadn't shot in years up to members of the range. It's a great place to get back into practice or keep the skills fresh. Appreciate Tom, Phil, Stacey and the entire staff at RUSA Florence!

Greg B. is a through instructor. Very knowledgeable. He works with the student's pace. You feel very comfortable in the range after his class I will ask or him again in the future if the need arises.

Love this range. Specially early, when there is not so many users. I'm a member, and love using couple of hours at an enjoyable pace to train with diverse weapons and calipers. Additionally, tge people behind the counter are very helpful and know their business.

Man we had a blast with the guys. CanΓÇÖt wait to go up there again. Everyone was very nice and professional about everything. Lots of knowledge from staff members. Ended Opening a membership. Which I think is a kick ass deal. Come check this place out, you wonΓÇÖt regret it

I told them it was my first time taking a shooting course and that I was from New York. Without any explanation, they told me I couldn't take the shooting course. They flatly refused😡. There were two elderly men with beards and an old man with some kind of injury on his nose.

I took a class from Greg B. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about firearms. Going to the firing range with a new firearm and never having fired a handgun can be a bit intimidating. The range officer that helped me was Greg Boothby. He was outstanding. Very helpful with techniques in the range and with sharing his great knowledge of firearms to help me select the right one for me. I look forward to going back to the range again. I bought a firearm from this shop and they were very helpful. I took my ccdw class there and the instructor,Steve, was very knowledgeable. They will offer help and advice when on the range. Great bunch of guys.

Extremely friendly and courteous staff from the moment we walked in. A great assortment of selections for your needs. It was the most impressive and welcoming experience I've ever had. Greg B., the range warden, was not only friendly and looking out for the wellbeing and safety of customers, but he went above and beyond in providing guidance and tips to improve my form and accuracy. I hope management is paying attention to his customer service and stellar professionalism!!!

Came to KY on vacation with my girlfriend, both of us had no experience in shooting firearms at all. The facility was very professional and clean. The two standout gentleman were Pete and Shawn. Pete took the time to thoroughly explain and answer all the questions I had about firearms and had a lot of patience with helping my girlfriend and I on the range. Shawn was such a pleasure to speak with and showed a tremendous amount of kindness and enthusiasm in how he helped guide us in what firearms to look for and instruction on how to properly handle them. I would highly recommend this facility to any locals or people on vacation looking for a professional gun range.
