l am amazed at the detail and the quality that went into the designing and building of Range USA. The outstanding memberships and training are available. The prices on your ammo when you're a member are great. You're available different handguns , long guns , at good prices. The ability to trade in handguns to get in store credit towards new purchases in store. Friendly staff and range assistance individuals that watch over the range as you shoot. The availability of all manufacturers , Sig Sauer , Smith Wesson , Glock , Ruger , Desert Eagel , Cz , etc. , for rental to shoot on the range. A person can fire handguns and truly find what fits their personal fit before making a purchase. Being involved with USCCA is an excellent organization. That helps train people in responsible , safe , handgun ownership. To be able to protect one's family as well as others in the community.

So if you have bought marijuana legally through your State you will step into a snare if you try to purchase a firearm, unless you lie on the form, which I didn't. So instead of allowing me to purchase down the road if I stop marijauna use. I was banned permanently from any purchase for life with no due process. I am essentially now a convicted Felon I guess in thier eyes. I am not a Felon. I hold a concealed carry permit now for 15 years. Gun owner for 50 years. Humiliated by store staff. I bought some ammo online because it was an online purchase sale only, then when I went to pick it up they refused to give me the ammunition I purchased. I will never step foot in a Range USA again. Be warned... if you have purchased marijuana legally in your state... they are completely stripping you of your 2nd Amendment rights for life in this store. No due process, no Felony conviction needed. I wouldn't give them any business if you are a gun owner that respects our 2nd Amendment. Just because I was uncomfortable with the language on the background form and didn't finish it, does not justify Range USA banning me from any and all purchases for life.

This was my first time at a range and my instructor Pat Clark, made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire training. His customer service, knowledge and understanding were attributes that made the experience well worth it.

If you are new to shooting or need a refresher, I highly recommend taking a private lesson with Bill from Range USA. I have been around guns my entire life, but Bill's amount of knowledge brought many new techniques to me that I have never been aware of. He is INCREDIBLY gifted in both his knowledge of guns, but also with people and his method of training.

BILL. BILL. BILL. So I was (before I took BillΓÇÖs class) one of those people that had ΓÇ£shotΓÇ¥ guns a handful of times in my life but it was more knowing which end not to point at myself and that pulling the trigger shoots said gun. I started wanting to have a home defense gun for myself, but before making an investment that big, I wanted to learn how to safely use a gun and shoot correctly. My boyfriend and I talked to the staff at Range USA and became aware of the private lesson class (if you bring a second person with you then you spend $10 more than the ten person class). We signed up for a private class and met our instructor Bill Van Zwoll. I went into the class feeling 0% confident about guns and left feeling informed, confident, and eager for more! Bill served in the marines for 30 years and is extremely qualified to teach this class. He explained things clearly, patiently answered ALL my questions, helped pick out a gun for me to shoot that was suited to my needs and wants, and was outstanding every step of the way. Thank you Bill. Thank you for your service to this country and thank you for your service now to teaching people like me how to handle guns safely and confidently. I am thrilled! Go take BillΓÇÖs private class. You will not regret it.

I had never been in Range USA and wanted to check it out. My experience was exactly what I wanted and appreciate AnnemarieΓÇÖs assistance. She answered all of my questions and gave recommendations, even knowing I wasnΓÇÖt going to make a purchase that day. When I do come back in to make a purchase, I will definitely seek Annemarie out! Thank you for not being pushy and answering my questions.

I had never even heard of Range USA until I saw this one being opened near us. I have a membership at another range but Range USA is much closer so I gave it a try. The range is great, though I was a little surprised that the controls aren't digital to allow setting of an exact consistent distance. It's a minor issue, I've found that using the shadow of the target on the floor works pretty well to set the target at the exact same spot out to the 15y mark, and then 25y is easy as it's just all the way back until it stops. The range is also nice in that it has two handicap accessible lanes, one on each side of the range -- important as I have a wheelchair bound friend. The firearm prices aren't always the cheapest but they have frequent sales and are somewhat offset in that they absorb the FFL fee if you buy from them -- and often this can make the end result very competitive or even cheaper than other places. After a few visits to check it out I ended up getting a membership, and thankfully they offer a "Defender" discount to military (active/reserve/retired), law enforcement, and first responders. Even with the Defender discount It's more expensive than the similar membership at my previous range but it's so much closer that I'll save gas, time, and/or be able to go more often and get more use out of it. Overall a win, the staff has been great, and their electronic 4473 process has been outstanding through a couple of purchases already. I'd recommend anyone in the area to at least check it out.

As a female it can be kind of intimidating going to a gun range at times. But I will say that was not the issue here at Range USA. It was my first time there and the whole staff was super nice. Ryan J was really nice and even gave me some great pointers to better my shot !

I was going to take off one star because of a technical issue when getting my membership, but yeah, an employee named Dustin made my whole experience there beyond better. I've never met someone somehow in all my time That knows as much about firearms as him. Even while he was just keeping an eye on the range, he gave me better advice than any instructor could he is amazing at what he does and knows more Then I can wrap my head around. And I've been raised around a lot of gun enthusiasts. Exceptional man there, an exceptional staff all around. This is my first indoor range I actually like, and I'm going to stay, and I'm very grateful.

Range USA is an awesome place. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and they make you feel welcome every time you walk in. I recently took my CCW class here, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Larry, our instructor, was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to, which made the class both informative and enjoyable. During the shooting portion, Tim, another instructor, jumped in to help out. He worked with me directly to fine-tune my stance and gave me some really helpful tips on improving my technique. Whether youΓÇÖre brand new to guns or have some experience, Range USA makes sure you have the best experience possible.

This new location is my first experience with Range USA and I am thoroughly impressed. The store is clean, bright and, most importantly, welcoming for novice and experienced shooters alike. Not only is the staff knowledgable, you can tell they enjoy working there. There is almost always an adequate amount of lanes available, even on the weekends. Product selection is strong, and if something isn't available, the free ship to store option via online is quick and painless. And the membership pays for itself if you shoot twice a month (Premium tier). Cons are few and far between but do include the company being a big box store, meaning prices often do come in a bit higher than what you can find at smaller outfits, but oftentimes those differences are offset by no FFL transfer or no shipping costs. If you do wish to transfer a firearm purchase into Range USA and do not have the highest membership tier, the FFL cost is a disappointing figure ($100), but again, a bit to be expected from a major retailer. Otherwise, my only other critique is the store could use an additional POS for busy weekends. All-in-all, it's great to have such a friendly place to practice and purchase in our backyard! Major kudos to every staffer!

I drove 30 minutes across town to come in and pick up a hollosun EPS. The website said it was in stock and that it was 10% off. I went into the store waited 15mins for somebody to help me only to find out that they wouldnΓÇÖt price match their own website. They said I would have to buy it online and come back another day to pick it up, even though I was standing there in the store holding the exact optic. The guy helping me made no effort to price match their own website just told me they wouldnt honor it and i left.

Ok, I want to preface this review by saying, I don’t usually do this kind of thing. That said, I have worked in retail for over 10 years and have never been treated like I have at North Kansas City Range USA. I was excited when I heard (and saw) that they were putting one near my home, but every time I have gone in there I have experienced piss poor customer service. Today I went in at 4:50pm to look at a firearm. There were only three customers in the store. I stood at the counter for 30 minutes without any employee asking me if I needed help, or even giving me the courtesy of saying, “we will be with you in a few minutes.” The assistant manager was helping a customer right next to me and walked by me multiple times and never once even acknowledged that I was there. Another employee came over to talk to him and just turned around and walked away without acknowledging me or asking if I needed anything. Three more customers came in to the store and were all helped before me. It was like I wasn’t even there in their eyes. I finally left after 30 minutes of waiting and absolutely no acknowledgment. I would not recommend this store to anyone…and I most definitely will NOT go back. Sorry, another gun shop will get my business. One star review for me.

Don't be fooled by the Basic vs Premium membership rules. A Basic membership does NOT allow you to shoot 'at all' on weekends unless additional payment is tendered. This should be more clearly explained on this company's web site. Annoyed. Response to reply: Show me where the word "only" appears.

My niece and I went to Range USA a couple of times in the last few weeks. It was our first time at an indoor range. We shared a lane and had an absolute blast. We brought in our own, but there are so many rentals to choose from. The facility is immaculate and the staff are all incredibly helpful and polite. Signed up for a class in Jan and looking forward to it.
