A: I realize this is an old question, but I figured it would be worth a slightly more in-depth answer. Per SPB's customer service coordinators, the list of range-banned ammo is as follows: 338 Lapua 50 BMG 50 Beo 458 Socom Green tip 5.56 Any ammunition with a steel core penetrator (this presumably extends to other penetrator cores, as well) Tracer ammunition Incendiary ammunition AP ammunition 5.45x39 Bird Shot Buck Shot And any other shotgun ammunition aside from slugs

A: Hello, We do allow 30-06 on the range, as long as the ammo is not tracer, incendiary, or armor piercing.

Q: Can you bring your own ammo?
A: Absolutely! You are free to shoot an ammo out of your guns. To shoot rental guns, they require that you use their ammo. All normal restrictions apply, no incendiary, armor piercing, etc.

Q: 300 blk allowed and what are the stipulations (ammo purchase, etc). What about Range Safety Officer? One on duty inside the range, etc. Some 'other ranges' do not have one and I've seen some scary stuff on the firing line.
A: Lanes allow up to/including 308, providing no steel core/armor piercing/tracer/incendiary ammo. Range Safety Officer ALWAYS on duty when range open, inside range. Bring your own firearms/ammo/eyes-ears/targets (as long as they're paper), or everything's available there! 20 lanes, split 10 each with breeze way in between, 25 yards long each.

A: Hello, We do allow 300blk ammo as long as the ammo is not armor piercing, incendiary, tracer, etc. You may bring your own ammo to shoot in your firearms, but we do require that you shoot our ammunition if you decide to rent one of our firearms. We also have a Range Safety Officer on the range at all times.

IΓÇÖve been coming to this range since its Point, Blank Shoot days. I was a member at another range in the area but the cleanliness, hassle free environment & cool staff kept me coming back & have me 95% ready to buy a membership. I almost exclusively deal with George because heΓÇÖs always checking to see if people been helped & when he does help me I can tell heΓÇÖs knowledgeable of the products & patient when it comes to answering questions or looking for information. Service like that has helped me purchase several firearms from Range USA & will keep me as a forever customer. Great place to come

I took an 8 hour course here, and the instructor was knowledgeable and entertaining. The facility was clean and well organized. They have a vast selection of handguns, rifles, and shotguns to choose from if you're looking to buy a firearm. They also seemed to be pretty well stocked on various ammunition and firearm accessories.

Buying a gun here requires you to disassemble the gun in store prior to purchase. Any missing parts they will sell it to you and then refer you to manufacturer. WouldnΓÇÖt suggest using them to purchase firearms

I am shopping for a new pistol, and I have been to several gun shops. At each of those, the employees acted like I was bothering them. Not at Range USA. An employee took the time to show me several options and went over every question I had and gave me an answer. I highly recommend these guys if you are looking to purchase a firearm.

I took the enhanced carry class and Steve was a great teacher he explained everything in depth was patient with every one and answered any and all questions that every one had i would recommend this class to any one wanting to get the carry license

I took a few friends from work to Range USA. ItΓÇÖs a very nice, very clean gun shop and range. The prices for non-members are pretty high and charge per hour. Which makes purchasing a membership a little more enticing. But IΓÇÖm here for work and there is not a location in SC. The gun rental is per gun rented, if you want to shoot multiple types of guns you will pay multiple rental fees. Not necessarily a bad thing. Just be prepared if you donΓÇÖt have a membership.All in all, itΓÇÖs a nice clean and safe place to shoot.

I arrived at 10am opening time to range shoot on a Wednesday. Only 1 other person in the shooting range to practice. Friendly and helpful staff member got me quickly checked in. Lots of variety to select from as far as targets. It's 1.79 per target or 4 for $6.

Very decent place to practice. I only go during the week as it can be pretty busy on the weekends. By busy I mean it can be very loud. A centerfire rifle or shotgun in the next lane can be a distraction. During the week they arrange it so there are spaces between the loud and the super loud. _

I was apprehensive about firing my new 9 mil but the gun safety class at Range USA with Chris leading it gave me knowledge and confidence. I actually enjoyed range time!
