Our instructor, Wayne, was outstanding. We did not know what to expect but what we received was a person genuinely interested in our understanding and appreciation of the guns we were using in terms of their capabilities and power. He was concerned first and always with our safe use and handling of the weapons. He had an easy manner about him. His ability to communicate was evident from the moment we started and that made for all our questions to be easily expressed and his answers to be easily understood. It is very likely we will take more private classes from Wayne.

Update 2024 - I now shop here, and for great reasons. They offer online coupons for 5-15% off your online cart most of the time. Then half the time the staff will not do the POS correctly, and after 6-8 weeks will refund the purchase cost -10% for "restocking" fee per the checkout agreement. What a fantastic deal. Got a pistol and a red dot for 10%. LOL. I have waited to write this. I will tell you my best of three visits. I walk in, three employees stand at the half round desk talking, laughing, hamming it up. Each one makes eye contact with me for a second before returning to the pow wow. 2 men nicely dressed sitting in chairs near window overlooking range. 2 minutes go by, they all see me. One of the nicely dressed men stands up and says "will somebody please help him" turns to me "sorry, someone will help you in just a second." None else is in this store, just the six of us, not a soul on the range. , Employee wanders over. skinny, long unkempt hair, full beard with leftovers suck in it. Next 20 minutes spent trying to get a dd rail. Left my info, told them to call me. Since then I have bought a gen 4 g17, g23 and the dd rail from atwells, located on chestnut street not far from this sad example of Wal-Mart gun culture. And like I said this is the best experience I had at this location, it was bad enough for me to write my first review ever.

Entered the place super friendly. Asked to do some basic shooting. Handed over all the documents and details needed… But was sent out because of the so called boss. The older gentleman that helped me was the best, but the manbun “boss” told him to “send me out”. There was not a single reason to do that. Not sure what his problem is. Weird way of doing business. Update on september 6th after company reply: First if all thanks for taking my review serious and contacting the store. I find it hard to believe that he meant “send them out” in the way of sending us to the shooting range. He was very unprofessional and uninterested. Maybe he had a hard day or something but still not nice of how we acted towards me and my cousin. We both were very friendly from the moment we entered the store till leaving the store. You can ask the older gentleman with the glassed behind the counter. We even made a little talk with him even after hearing the words “send them out”. If that boss/manager meant it in a good wat he definitely could be more polite and friendly. He didn’t even came to us, didn’t smile nor greeted us. I’m willing to edit my review stars if this is actually a misunderstanding but as I stated before, the way he acted and behaved… I think he is trying to turn things around. I really hope for the employees there that he is acting more friendly and nicely towards his employees because he seemed quite irritated as well when the older gentleman asked about the rules for shooting for non-us citizens. Once again. Thanks for replying. Update October 18, 2024: Went back to this place hoping things would be different this time… I have to say, absolutely amazing experience. Me and my cousin were welcomed and helped very politely and professionally. All the employees were very nice. Tom the range instructor was amazing! Such a helpful and lovely person. If I had to name something “bad”, it would maybe be the fact that you have to pay for each single rental gun between $20 and $25. Together with the ammo that you have to buy from them, it can become very pricey when you want to try out multiple guns. Changing my star rating from 1 tot 5 because of the latest experience. I hope you guys continue to provide a good customer experience. Thank you!

Go to Great Lakes outdoor, or summit armory, this place is WAY too corporate, ever since the change of names from point blank to range USA theyΓÇÖve gone way down hill, now I walk in and the cost of ammo is higher for non members vs members. ItΓÇÖs like the whole idea is to be all members as much as possible. I wonΓÇÖt go there anymore. They are shooting themselves in the foot.

Went to purchase a firearm went through all of the papers and questions. I am a legal buyer and when they ask you on the form for your email and phone number it said email is optional. The short guy with the beard that has been there for a long time told me he had to have my email address for a second contact. I told him I would not give the email. It was optional on the form, and he refused to sell me the firearm. This place is very invasive to your privacy. I have had other experiences here, where I brought a brand new firearm in to see what they would give me on a trade-in, and they slammed. The slide forward with the release without ammo in it dry. Had no respect for my firearm whatsoever. I went somewhere else and bought the firearm. And I refuse to do any business with this place again. I tried them after many years after they were point blank, and the one guy is the same staff. Terrible experience.
