Range USA Mokena

Q: Do you have the same sales on firearms as the other stores do?
A: They are always having sales. Always changing. Great place to go!
- David Buss (5 years ago)
A: Seriously they have really comparable prices. Sales associates know their stuff, and yes their ranges are very clean and well maintained! Also their classes rock!
- Sarah Smolarek (5 years ago)
A: All Range USA locations generally share the same prices and promotions.
- Range USA Mokena (a year ago)
A: No, not always, but they do have sales. Call around if you have a particular firearm in mind. You'll find that prices can vary tremendously. Do your homework before you buy.
- Quasi Moto (5 years ago)
A: They have more firearm choices than any chicago south suburb store. Beautiful range as well.
- C. Smith (5 years ago)

A: Only the rental guns are available to shoot.
- Range USA Mokena (a year ago)

Q: Hello, I don't have own guns, but if I would like to shoot a 9mm, you could rent me one? What requirements I should to bring with me for that? Thanks
A: You will need your FOID card, along with other ID.
- Quasi Moto (6 years ago)
A: You can rent. Bring proper identification.
- Mike Stegenga (6 years ago)
A: In Illinois, you will need to bring your FOID card and your state ID, and if it is your first time at the range, you will need to bring a friend, as we only rent to first time customers in groups of 2 or more. To rent a handgun, you must be 21. You must also purchase our ammo for use in our rental guns.
- Range USA Mokena (a year ago)
A: Yes, you can rent without owning a firearm. You will need a FOID card and DL/ID.

A: You cannot rent a firearm if you don't already own one was the last ruling that I heard.

Everyone is very helpful and willing to assist with questions about the products and services. Would love to see forward to more skills training classes,1-1 and assistance with the new equipment. It might be helpful to have more barrel cleaning and red dot-sight adjustments of the rentals after multiple uses.

Brought a friend to shoot with me for my elite membership. Got bumped to the back of the line because forgot to sign waiver.. then a group of 8 non members were allowed to go ahead even though they walked in after we got in line the second time while the 2 of us we were still in line and a line of 6 members formed behind us and had to wait as well. Then their computer system was down we stood in line for 30 minutes waiting to use range no apology or anything for the delay. Worse than the DMV

Have been to ranges all over the country, went to Range USA in Mokena today for the first time upon request to help a friend get started, met Branden out on the range and must say, he has to be one of the nicest RSOs or range employees I've ever met, would send people to him all day long.

It's a decent range, and the people who work here are usually helpful and knowledgeable. Sometimes they seem short of sales people and it's hard to find someone to help you. The only (big) issue I have with it is that the focus on helping their club "members" before others. Trying to check in to use the range or to make a purchase can be a nightmare. They have two check in lines, one for club members, and one for non-members. They have a policy of helping members first, and all others have to wait. I was in there recently in line to pay for a range. There was one elderly gentleman at the register in front of me and no one else in line. The person being helped had some issue the clerk was helping him with for over 10 minutes while I was standing there waiting, which was fine. However, when the clerk finished with the person he was helping, I walked up to the register and told him I needed a range, and he asked me for my ID. As he was looking at my ID and getting ready to ring me up, a group of six "members" walked up in the "members" line. The clerk asks me "are you a member?" To which I replied "no,"and he says to me "well I have to take these members first." Even though he saw me standing there waiting for 10 minutes with no one else in line, and I was already at the register, he was going to make me wait even longer to take these other people first, so I picked up my gear and left, and haven't been back. Although I'm not a "member" I've spent a lot of money at this store, which I won't be doing anymore.
