Not worth having a membership. Most the lanes are down. Then they if you make a reservation they can give it away. After seeing how they run today they did not make a good impression for membership. I came in today looking for ammo my first time here since range USA took control last time I was here it was Readyline. Seen this happen with a member. Me myself had a similar thing happen when point blank open in blue ash. We made a reservation and waited 1 hr past the time for it. Standing in-front of the desk. No one bothered to say anything to us that our reservation was canceled due to a ccw class that ran over time and needed a lane. I had already payed for it and never got to use it. Point blank was range usa. 2 bad experiences different locations.

100 yard range is useless since they don't allow you to go prone and got rid of all of the sturdy benches Ready Line had. Instead, the hillbilly management decided to throw ironing boards over the pistol benches and call it good. That may work for Bubba sighting in his deer rifle, but not for precision. Forget about testing loads/ammo at that place. It's fallen a lot since Ready Line.

Me and my friends were not allowed to shoot in the range because 'Indians' are not allowed lol. Felt embarrassed and outcasted. Good thing we found another range in Kentucky where we shot 9mm.

Very well organized. And the inventory is amazing… the location in Newtown Ohio is absolutely top notch . The customer service is incredible.

Great place to target practice, purchase ammo etc. Only gripe (and its a big one) is the absence of heat in their ranges. Obsurd that they cant heat them. Dropped my membership for the winter months. Too cold. Staff were made aware of this and I was told the lanes are never heated. Shooting in a 15┬░ lane isnt fun when freezing air is being blown on your neck

Usually a pretty good and fantastic space. The staff are friendly and the facility is always clean. The process is easy and directions are clear. This past experience we had an issue with the targets. They are now positioned lower on the cardboard and you have to basically point down. We wanted to change stations just for that reason. Honestly, I wouldΓÇÖve never filled out a review if it wasnΓÇÖt for this issue. But from past experiences, 5/5 stars. WeΓÇÖre able to shoot a variety of things in the facility and I feel very comfortable being there. Will come back because of the atmosphere. However, please move the target position back to normal. Reply to comment: we did ask them to be moved but the employees were told not to.

We had an awesome time in a 1-1 Handgun Safety Private Lesson with Bill S. My partner and I have almost zero shooting experience. Bill led us with ease and even some humor. CanΓÇÖt recommend it more.

I recently went to Shoot Point Blank in Newtown to buy some ammo, including .22 long rifle, but ended up leaving without making a purchase. I was surprised (and honestly a bit concerned) when they asked for a copy of my driverΓÇÖs license just to buy ammunition. None of the other stores I go to require that kind of information just for ammo purchases, and it felt invasive. I understand the need for certain policies, but this seemed like overreachΓÇöespecially for something as basic as .22. If you value your privacy, you might want to consider other options. Just thought IΓÇÖd share for fellow freedom-loving individuals who might feel the same.

This Range usa Newtown is place to go for equipment, training, information, or just to chat. The Staff is wonderful, the training classes I have taken from William M Schwartz was wonderful,beginners safety, the CCW class was awesome.

Wesley went to bat for me today in figuring out in getting my previous and lower membership rate. I appreciate the excellent service I get at the Range. My shooting skills are getting better with each time I come and practice. Safety and renewed skills are my goal, and it's coming together with help and advice from your staff. An attractive monthly fee gets me in every month to practice. Thank you!

I hate to leave a negative review but this issue has happened 3 times now. This location has a rifle bay where no handguns are permitted and two pistol bays where rifles ARE permitted. So if you want to shoot your hand gun, the guy next to you might be shooting a huge and loud shotgun or ar15 where the concussive blast, noise and smell all hit you in the face in your bay. And there lies the problem. The range officers do nothing about it. As a matter of fact they encourage it. If there is one guy in there shooting a loud rifle guess where they stick you. Right next to him. They have this policy it seems of always sticking people next to each other. I guess it makes it easier to watch. I donΓÇÖt know. Something else they do is for instance me and the guy in the next bay will be shooting handguns. Then the guy next to me puts down his handgun and starts shooting s big nasty rifle with a huge muzzle brake and you can clearly see all the fire, smoke, sound and blast hitting me in my bay since the muzzle brake disperses all that to the side and rear. You would think the range officers would ask the jerk next to me to move down a few bays or ask me if I would like to switch bays. Nope. Last time it happened the range officer started laughing and the guy shooting it says ΓÇ£I feel sorry for anyone next to me hahahahΓÇ¥. Common sense doesnΓÇÖt appear so common. Either does range etiquette apparently. All I am asking is if a fella is shooting a big, obnoxious rifle in the handgun bay and you see the guy next to him getting blasted, please ask if I would like to be moved over a few bays down or ask the guy shooting to move down a few since itΓÇÖs literally a safety issue. I almost shot to the side as I was pulling the trigger and the guy let out a huge shot that moved me and disoriented me for a split second. There are always empty bays. I shouldnΓÇÖt have to go and ask to be moved like some whiner. It should be standard practice that if your disturbing other shooters, you need to be moved down a few bays or ask the other shooters if they want to move down. It should be standard practice. I didnΓÇÖt pay my hard earned money to have a lousy experience 3 different times.

DonΓÇÖt join their membership. TheyΓÇÖll tell you itΓÇÖs cheaper to sign up for a month membership than to pay normal range rate for the day. Then they automatically charge your credit card for another month and will not refund the renewal even if you contact them the same day that they charged your card with the renewal. Rip off and POOR customer service. And as you can tell by their snarky response to my review (below) their customer service is in need of an overhaul.

I shoot weekly and the guys at Newtown store could not be nicer. If I ever have questions or need anything, they are quick to help. ItΓÇÖs also more updated than some of the other stores, very clean & super safe.

I just want to share my experience at Range USA in Newtown because I whole heartedly believe a few of the fellas there deserve a shout out. I have been going pretty consistently for a few months and things have always been totally what you would expect out of a professional, well managed environment. The facility is always clean, there is a big emphasis on safety and everyone who works there is always willing to lend a helping hand. I decided that I wanted to get my conceal carry permit. To my surprise Range USA offers the classes for both classroom and range lessons as well as numerous other services like private instruction at a very reasonable cost. I had decided to take my classes there and Brandon, the instructor was awesome. It doesnΓÇÖt matter how much you think of yourself as a seasoned gun vet, there is always new stuff to learn. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient and very hands on and helpful. He took to the time to make sure every student was helped in a way it felt like a private one on one lesson. You couldnΓÇÖt ask for a better instructor. A few days later I came back to the range to practice some of the things Brandon had taught and shown me (he spotted a bad habit I have had for years when holding a pistol that I never noticed). Inside the range I asked the range safety officer (RSO) if Brandon was there that day and it turned out to be his day off. The RSO who was there was a gentleman named Chuck. He took the time to answer all my questions, check to see if my pistol was dialed in correctly with the Red dot, and spent considerable time going over some of the things I had learnt with Brandon, from my form to my grip. I canΓÇÖt thank both of these gentlemen enough for such a wonderful and positive experience. It really makes me look forward to coming there and getting better with every visit. Everyone else who works there has been a class act as well, however my time with Brandon and Chuck has been the most personal. Usually I donΓÇÖt take the time to write positive reviews because good service is to be expected. However they have gone above and beyond. A++ Fuad D.

Anytime I leave a review I always wait til I have used the product/service for a while. I came in a few times and rented a lane and then upgraded to a membership. I have been a member there for about 6 months now and every single time it has been a great experience. Top notch instructors/employees, really nice and clean facilities and they offer a lot of services from buying and selling guns and accessories to ccw classes. If I have one nit pic itΓÇÖs the rifle lane. The tables are a bit wobbly and itΓÇÖs very hot in there. The pistol lane room next to it is always nice and cool so possibly an AC issue. Nonetheless I give this place a full 5 stars and I am trying to be as honest and transparent as possible as I would hope reviews of all products should be to help out one another when it comes to spending our hard earned money. I am grateful to have such a nice place be local.
