IΓÇÖve been going to Recoil almost daily for a little over a year. ItΓÇÖs a nice, clean, affordable indoor range. The RSOs are all friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and vigilant. They also have a good ventilation system which is key when shooting indoors. They have 16 lanes at 25 yards each. They have it split into two, eight lane sections and try their best to segregate larger and smaller calibers when possible. The sound-proofing on the walls as well as the rubber-covered bullet trap really reduce the sound and reverberation. The target retrieval system is excellent and you can use it to create and save a variety of sequences that allow you to shoot a moving target. IΓÇÖve also done a few classes (CCW & drawing from a holster) and have had good experiences in that regard, too. I highly recommend Recoil!

Absolutely best indoor range in New Jersey. The guys at the counter today and the people working the range weΓÇÖre so helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to make my first shotgun experience the best gun shooting experience I ever had. This range practices safety and the best customer service IΓÇÖve seen. IΓÇÖm a lifelong customer for sure! Keep up the good work.

Awesome facility, very friendly sales staff in the shop. Answered all of my questions and made me feel confident in my decision making process. IΓÇÖve had nothing but positive experiences with the younger RSOs, they are eager to help with technique if you ask. Seems like a nice place to spend weekends casually improving your skills or if you are a beginner looking for lessons. If you want to run drills or work on recoil be careful about what the lingering older RSO called ΓÇ£rapid fireΓÇ¥

The perfect range to get some quality time in at. Clean, great air handling, well lit and friendly, vigilant safety officers. You can also take multiple classes here, for certifications as well as skills building. There are no firearms rentals, which is a plus because generally people are more familiar with their own firearms (which they must bring). There's one thing missing, which I've mentioned to the staff, and hope will one day be added: a counter surface opposite the ports, to put your ammo on and use for reloading. If you have a second person sharing your port with you, one can actively be sending rounds down range, while the other reloads magazines without monopolizing the port's table surface. The dedicated table space also helps keep ammo, about cans, and range bags off the floor around the ports. Some ranges I go to have this and it works great. Recoil is my group's favored range.

Recoil Gun Range is, in my opinion, the best range for anyone looking for a top-notch shooting experience. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and designed for both beginners and experienced shooters alike. What truly sets Recoil apart is the staffΓÇöthey are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help with anything from firearm safety to shooting techniques. Whether youΓÇÖre a first-time visitor or a seasoned marksman, they make sure you feel comfortable and confident. The range itself is well-lit, spacious, and equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable session. If youΓÇÖre looking for a professional, welcoming, and high-quality shooting range, Recoil Gun Range is the place to go!

Clean, professionally staffed and never crowded. Unless your doing something blatantly unsafe they leave you be. BYO ammo and guns as they do not rent or sell anything. Much quieter setting for the beginner or someone seasoned that just wants to go shoot in peace. Clean bathrooms and post shooting scrub down station.

I had an amazing experience at Recoil Gun Range in Monroe tonight! I brought in a new firearm I had just purchased along with a new scope I had attached. Since this was my first time firing the gun, I had a bit of trouble initially getting it to fire because the cartridge didnΓÇÖt release a round into the chamber. The RSO on duty quickly assisted me and got things running smoothly. What truly impressed me was when the RSO realized my scope was far off. They called in another RSO, Brian, who is an expert at zeroing scopes. Brian went above and beyond, taking the time to adjust my scope and get it dialed in perfectly. Thanks to his help, I was shooting like a pro at 25 yards in no time! Huge thanks to Brian and the entire team for their expertise, professionalism, and willingness to assist. I canΓÇÖt recommend Recoil Gun Range enough and will definitely be back!

This is a great indoor range. The staff was courteous and willing to help any way possible. Had private 3-hour class with Dan to learn the basics of safety, grip, synace, etc. and he dominated! Highly recommend Recoil to anyone.

Pretty good range - clean, plenty of lanes and parking space even during busy weekends. Staff is pretty reasonable and will not annoy you unless you're doing something really stupid. The ventilation system is also pretty great - I brought my shotgun to test fire it using some pretty smoky S&B buckshot and I could see all those clouds of smoke being quickly sucked in by air intakes in the ceiling. Overall it's definitely worth getting a subscription for it.

I recently took a private class with Dan, and he was an excellent instructor! He was extremely diligent and thorough throughout the entire session. Before the class, I was unfamiliar with my firearm, but now I feel confident and knowledgeable about operating it safely. We also worked on shooting, and his guidance made a huge difference. Highly recommend Dan for anyone looking to improve their firearm skills!

Dan was the man, he helped me learn the flaws in my shooting technique. Would definitely recommend a private class if you need guidance about what your doing wrong.

I had an amazing experience at Recoil! I wanted to learn how to shoot and decided to take a private lesson with Dan. HeΓÇÖs an excellent instructorΓÇöknowledgeable, patient, and professional. In just two hours, I learned so much, and the lesson was very reasonably priced. The range itself is fantasticΓÇöclean, well-maintained, and safe. With DanΓÇÖs guidance, I felt much more confident handling a firearm. IΓÇÖll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Recoil to anyone, whether youΓÇÖre a beginner or experienced shooter.

Excellent range, clean, friendly staff. Fellow shooters are very willing to share knowledge and shooting tips. Shot 40 rounds with my new 5.56 Aero build. Good groups, rifle shot like a champ. Best of all, it's affordable and close to home and convenient.

Just got done with the range with a group of friends. This was my second time here and this place is by far the BEST range there is. The staff always are beyond helpful and are patient when you have questions (like my 100 questions haha). IΓÇÖll be back to practice and for some courses. Thanks again Recoil and keep doing what youΓÇÖre doing!!!

Had a great time at the range. Place is very modern; has electronic setting making it very easy to place target 5,10,15,20,25 yards out. For sale is eye and ear protection and targets. No ammunition for sale as of this post. Also have some clothing for sale. ThereΓÇÖs a timer on the electronic pad showing how much time you have left. I believe it started at 1 hour.

Im a member here. They always treat you good here, almost like your part of the family there, read reviews and the negatives as you see are from people failing a test that recoil has no control over. Yes i wish they had a 50 yard lane and more room but thats what the outdoor range is for. I should deduct a star for (as the owner himself stated) they dont sell pizza. Wtf m i supposed to eat while shooting so yeah theres room for improvement but otherwise nice clean, friendly, family range and the range officers are all awsome.

Wish I could leave 6 stars for this place. Safe, fun, and overall relaxed environment to shoot. This place is BYOG and ammo so be prepared. It's indoors so best to wear electronic ear protection.

I usually go to RTSP in north Jersey as I love how well oiled they run their business. I chose here last minute as they had slots available. Big mistake. I feel like the ccw class was poorly run. Not worth it. -Update- The response to the review by the ΓÇ£ownerΓÇ¥ just shows what type of circus this place is. Took the class at RTSP in Union last night and passed with flying colors. The officers there are professional and informative. The entire class heard the instructing officer tell me you can qualify with one firearm and use two on one permit. This is clearly against the law . RTSP even said he didnΓÇÖt know the law. lol. Before I left a review, I wanted to make sure that it was not a one off clearly other people have had the same experience about this place . IΓÇÖm not the only one David, check your reviews my man. #Cheers
