A: You dont need to buy a permit to buy a gun. This isnt New York. If you plan to carry concealed I reccommend getting a Georgia Concealed Weapon Carry permit. But you dont need one just to buy a gun.

Came in to get passes verified and validated. I've been here a couple years ago and the woman working the counter "helped" me. She was pretty gruff towards me and acted as if I was interrupting her day. Thankfully, this time, a young guy (mid 20s-early 30s and really tall) helped me and was super sweet. Definitely made me feel welcome and I'm definitely sending my folks here. Thanks for the validation, "Dad". 😁

This place is the worst. Do not use Fort Benning Shooting Recreation Complex for fire arm transfers. I had 2 fire arms shipped to this place from different companies. IΓÇÖve received both orders with missing items. Fort Benning shooting recreation complex claims to received my orders that way. Both packages shipped with invoices listing the contents. Good Federal Firearms License holders would read the invoice and inspect the order. So why did this not happen? And where is my property? Either someone is stealing or they need to have their license reevaluated. This is unacceptable. Never again, take your money elsewhere.

I enjoy using the Archery range, IΓÇÖm usually the only one there. Not convinced the designated distance is correct to the targets.

$12 for all day and targets for a dollar. From rifles to pistols, as well as friendly range safety officers who will help you if it first time shooting or help improve your shooting.

Awsome shooting complex safely on base. Just make sure you're equipment is registered and all is well. They're big on safety so don't be an ass.
