Most definitely a great range, all staff are super nice and cool people, place was very clean and range workers always cleared the floor of casings, prices are fantastic. Definitely will be returning soon, nothing negative to say about this place AT ALL.. Workers clearly explained all the rules and helped out if needed, just a friendly environment for people to safely have their fun with their own guns or even rentals, store was good as well with decent apparel. Thanks for the fun time Red River Range !

It was my first time at a gun range. The entire staff, from the check in desk to the range attendant, were extremely helpful. The funny thing is there was a guy giving me pointers on what I was doing wrong and we thought he worked there. Turns out he was just a guest there, also. 😅 He was extremely helpful and an all around cool guy. I will be making a return visit when I’m in town for Christmas.

This indoor range provides 2 bays, 8 lanes each, for shooting pistol or rifle at 25 yards. There is also a bay of 3 lanes, 100 yards long for rifle shooter's. The facility is very clean, the staff is very courteous and knowledgeable and have an impressive inventory of firearms, ammunition, and accessories. Red River Range also have full time gun smith's on staff, along with training staff.

If this were my first experience with firearm training, I would be completely and totally clueless. I feel so bad for every single person who attended this class and has had no prior training. The instructor robbed us of $125 and drowned out any accurate information with irrelevant life stories and memes that had nothing to do with concealed carry. The fact that I held my gun for less than five minutes and never even used my holster shows that he was an awful instructor. WE WERE LITERALLY IN A GUN RANGE! I was in the actual range part for no more than 20 minutes. No drills on loading, unloading, holstering, OR PROPER INSTRUCTION. There were several people who said this was their first class and first time shooting. More time was spent pitching us insurance than me actually holding a gun. He specifically said he didn't want to rob us of a full 8 hours of training. This man spent 40 minutes on one slide because he got sidetracked, telling useless information about something that happened to him. The first hour was a sales pitch for stuff from the range. We spent maybe 15 minutes holding and manipulating our guns, and that was without any instruction from the instructor himself. I shot my 36 bullets in less than 10 minutes and was sent on my way. I didn't even use the holster at all. He was very vocal about the sheriff's office illegally giving permits because they don't hold the classes for the full 8 hours, but he maybe gave me 2 hours of actual information, and the rest was unimportant and extremely irrelevant information/YouTube videos. If you're going to say the state requirements are 8 hours of instruction and you aren't going to cheat us of that time, then give me 8 hours of actual instruction. We were supposed to be on the range for a minimum of 2 hours. Again maybe 15 minutes and with no instruction. He waited until almost 12 to get us in the range but we had to be out of there before 1 because that's when the range opens and paying customers would be there. There were maybe a total of 15 PowerPoint slides and each one was extremely drawn out, again with the instructor being constantly sidetracked with things and stories that were not relevant to concealed carry class. Also, he continued to say he did not get political, when in fact, he spent more time on his political rants than I did shooting my damn gun. I think the last hour he was really running out of stuff to talk about because he showed us what his next holster was going to be and what colors were his favorite. Please, I beg you, if you need a concealed carry permit, seek another class.
