Reds Indoor Range North Inc
Shooting lanes for pistols & rifles with movable targets up to 100 yards away.

Q: What is the cost of range time, if I bring my on gun?
A: Its either 19.50 or 20 even. If you shoot a clothes line clip or guide line by accident its $5 and $15 I believe. Maybe smart to bring you're own wooden clothes line clips for replacement.

A: Its up to 18 an hour now

A: I do believe it is 15$ now. It used to be 13.50 per hour. They're a pretty decent indoor range.
- Drew F (6 years ago)
Q: Do you need to make reservations?
A: No. Just walk right in. Saturdays are super busy, though.
- Steve R (a year ago)
Q: WhatΓÇÖs the price if I donΓÇÖt carry my own gun?
A: I new on this. Can I try different guns and buy one after that.? Thanks
- Gabriel Vega (4 years ago)
Q: How much does it cost to shoot in this place?
A: If you bring your own firearms and ammo roughly $20an hour
- Frank Shoemaker (a year ago)
A: Frank is correct!
- Reds Indoor Range North Inc (a year ago)
Q: Can you shoot black powder pistols there
A: Only during dueling classes
- Alex McHale (6 years ago)
A: Hopefully not. When is it ever a good idea to shoot black powder weapons indoors?
- Paul McFeaters (6 years ago)
A: Let's keep it a solid no. Black powder weapons affect other shooters experience/safety in a negative manner.
- Nick R (6 years ago)
A: I did use blackpowder (6 shooter) here before on pistol, not a good idea as a thick fog covered everyone's target. Range person said it's probably a better idea to be in lane one on rifle side as the vent is closer to that area.
- Felix Alvarez (6 years ago)
A: I call them and they said yes as long as I load pointing down range.
- william porter (6 years ago)
Q: Is the range air conditioned?
A: Yes

A: .50 BMG+ is prohibited according to the range rules.

A: You bet, I've ever shot my shotgun, with slug ammo, there.
- Jeff Regnier (6 years ago)
A: Yes sir
- chris valverde (6 years ago)
Q: What days of the week can u shoot the 300 magnum already purchased
A: 9a-9p 7 Days a Week
- Nathaniel Torbett (5 years ago)
A: Any day they are open
- Jeff Regnier (6 years ago)
Q: I like to shoot both pistols and rilfes....are pistols allowed on rifle lanes at North location?
A: They Have both pistol and rifle lanes. You have to switch between them when changing from one to another.
- Jason Hart (7 years ago)
A: No but they will let you roll right over to the pistol range given that there's a spot
- Rub Hernandeez (7 years ago)
A: According to the range rules on their website: "No rifles are permitted on pistol lanes (North)" This means that pistols are permitted in the rifle lanes but not vice versa.
- Nathaniel Torbett (5 years ago)
A: There are pistol and rifle lanes
- Christian Vestergaard (7 years ago)
A: No,. Pistols and rifles are on two different, but connected, ranges. Pistol are short ranges. Rifles only to go to 100 yards. You cannot shoot one on the other.

Great people who work here. I stop by here to look at the hunting rifle and one of the gentleman who work there took his time with me, showing me different rifle and what I should use . Plus great indoor rifle range to 100yards

I have been a avid customer at Reds for several years now being that it is the only range within city limits. Have purchased many firearms and spent many many days on the range. That being said I will never return after today's range experience. The range officers allowed the range to be over occupied with bystanders who paid zero attention to their surroundings. You could not move without bumping into someone and multiple people crowding the targets, trash bins, etc. My biggest concern was rapid firing being allowed on both the handgun and rifle range which to my knowledge is against their very own rules. This presents an insane amount of safety hazards especially with very inexperienced shooters within the range. Extremely disappointed in the staff who were too busy fraternizing and smoking their E-cigarettes to enforce important safety rules.

I work in sales for a living. I can say with absolute certainty that the staff here was not motivated to sell any product. I also asked about possibly buying the only gun they had in the store that was of interest to me that was being used as a rental. I was told flat out no and not offered to have that same model special ordered for me. The range officers were over bearing. In 8 years of shooting, i can say that this was the worst experience that I have ever had. I do not recommend this place.

Had a great experience. This is an old school range, really long. I wanted to try an AK 47 and Sig Sauer 716. Both were available. Jake explained the mechanism of the guns throughly. They have dummy rounds and will walk you through the process. Highly recommend this place.

Nice little range. Everyone working there was friendly and willing to help. The facilities were adequate, nothing special but nothing run down either. Seemed like a good place to get some familiarity with your firearm or just put some rounds down range.

Thank you Joe for getting my rifle taken care of. I had an issue with the firing pin and without hesitation, gave me a quick run down & resolved my issue. Had little wait time for a Sunday afternoon, went through a couple mags and had no issues. Thanks, for good customer service.

Terrible rules - canΓÇÖt rent more than one firearm at a time. Okay ish staff. Staff yelled at me to not use the charging handle on the MCX since previous customers would tend to break it. They charge per hour too. Also if you go as a group all of you will be forced to use the same lane. Should tell you enough of the kind of range it is.

Dude honeslty these guys are absolutely trash. Went in with my gun licenses. They explained how a shotgun was not a good choice for home defense. As soon as I walked in they were already eyeballing me. They took my ID. Didnt help me. Gave me a trash gun course. Didn't run my background or ask me any questions or help me out in any way. I left to Central Texas Gun works on Ben white were they helped me, ran my background & i was able to buy a shotgun that day. These guys swear they treated me this way because the people were new. I already knew these people were gonna discriminate against me so shame on this people & store.

Not bad, but not great. Guns are on the expensive side. For the lanes they charge you per person per hour rather than per lane, which wouldn't be a problem if they let you use more lanes. We had a group of 4 people with 7 guns and because we were a group we had to share one lane because it was a busy time, even though there were 4 empty lanes by us. This means we spent more time there and paid more while shooting less. Other ranges you'll get at least 2 lanes for 4 people. Edit: after a while they did let us use another lane so that was good.

This place is really nice and staff is excellent. Wish they restricted magnums from an indoor gun range. Some people have no sense.

If you go to this place in a group, be sure to act like you are seperate. Otherwise they will require you all shoot on the same lane. You'll spend all your time individually loading magazines one at a time. And they will still charge you per shooter per hour regardless. It's how they get to charge you double for an extra hour if you go over.

Update 4dec24: so wonderful here! The Staff are very helpful and kind. The range is safe and the Range Officer is right there, 100% full attention, to insure that everyone shoots safely. I'm grateful to be able to come to Reds time after time after time, and they are consistently top-shelf, best in the business, folks! Thank you to everyone there! I've been coming to Reds for 35+ years, at the Y, then here. I may have been the first Pflugerville customer. They have always been beyond outstanding. Running a gun range is not the same as selling appliances at Lowe's. Rules must be STRICTLY enforced, with zero exceptions, ever! If customers are offended by this, probably they should go somewhere else. I feel safe at Reds when I'm shooting. I know that the Range Masters are keeping track of folks and saving me a trip to the emergency room (or morgue). I'm thankful that they are clear and direct. It is not a time for politeness and lovely words. If the snowflakes can't handle it, please do us all a favor and go elsewhere. For me, I'm glad that they are stern and direct in their range management. I'll continue to come here! If anything, I can't understand why their prices are so low. Reds continues to be my favorite indoor range.

First started shooting at Reds (south) and purchased a firearm through them. Never had an issue, always helpful and knowledgeable. My move was coincidental with the closing of that location and IΓÇÖve had the pleasure of shooting at the north location and the purchase of another firearm. Everyone is great at the facility, the selection of parts and accessories is pretty impressive and the range is equally good. The range masters are professional and do a good job while also being social and insightful.

For the purest or the novice, a great facility. Good selection of guns, ammo, and a great range. Ample and very welcoming and helpful staff for help and they offer conceiled carry license training. I like the range, basic and you can do rapid firing. They accommodate pistols and long guns.

Lanes are really close together. She didn't like that. I didn't care. But, I couldn't shoot my AR Pistol because it didn't have sites. Other people have told me that MOST places don't care. Went to Lone Star Gun Range in Lockhart (outdoor); didn't care. We went on Lady's night and got a free 380 S&W rental for her. Staff was attentive, respectful and polite. She doesn't want to go back. I might.

Great place! The staff here are friendly, professional, and strict about the rules on the range, which is a good thingΓÇöfirearms arenΓÇÖt toys, and itΓÇÖs their job to keep you and everyone else safe. I rented several guns, and everything went well. My only constructive feedback is that a few of the rental guns have misaligned sights. IΓÇÖll definitely be coming back!
