Reed's Pistol Range

Reed's Pistol Range. Read the rules. Eyes and Ears on before entering indoor range. No steel ammo and then up to 44 caliber. Building is almost behind Monroe Muffler in New Milford. Very Organized. Gun rentals with Gun permit and their ammo only. Guest allowed in your lane if you supervise with your permit. Knowledgeable and friendly but strict where it counts for a firearms range. Going back.

Awesome place. I came in last night for my pistol class and everyone here was hugely helpful, knowledgeable and approachable with any questions I had. Fantastic experience, and a huge shoutout to Matt and Brent for being great, guys. Thanks a ton!

Great and easy going staff, helpful instructors, and bright, clean store. Went for the night pistol permit class with my husband and for complete newbs they made it a painless process.

Great spot and friendly staff. I did my pistol permit course here which was a good experience and I go here to shoot at the range. Nice little gun shop when you walk in with plenty to look at. Knowledgeable staff. I like these guys. The only thing I wish were different is the very limited space in the firing range. ItΓÇÖs totally fine when itΓÇÖs not busy but if it is busy I feel a little uncomfortable and cluttered by the limited space. IΓÇÖve been to other ranges where thereΓÇÖs much more space.

Very friendly and professional staff. Was able to rent a firearm and try it out on their indoor range. Once I have purchased the firearm, this will be the place I will go to practice.

I try to hit the range at least once per month and Reeds is my go-to spot. Staff is friendly, range is kept clean. Basically, IΓÇÖve never had a bad experience, and recommend them to anyone who asks for my opinion.

Refreshing experience at a gun shop and range. Friendly, helpful staff that want your business and want to help you make the right decision in purchasing a firearm. While I live in CT, this is where I will go from now on.

Nice indoor range, clean and well ventilated. Store display is well managed and organized. Prices for range time is a bit steep without checking out other ranges to be fair. Gun prices are within range. Very happy they are reasonably close to the folks I shoot with.

Friendly, courteous staff. Large, well organized retail space. Great selection in stock. Competitive pricing. Range is clean and well kept. Excellent ventilation. Automatic carriers are easy to operate and function smoothly. Stations are well lit and comfortably spaced.

Mask required to even enter the store/range. Only range in CT that does this - regardless of vaccination status. Take your business elsewhere

Never had a bad experience! Fair guys to deal with - very competitive prices on firearms. I also took the pistol permit class back in 2017 with these guys, which I have highly recommended to all of my family and friends.

Unfriendly and rude.. There was one particular person there a man I wish I knew his name. We are minorities, and my husband and I were treated as such. Shame, with everything that is going on in this world, you would think they would be a bit more kind.

I have to tell you I know the owners they are a great bunch of guys John is a very professional person he is very safe and he takes his job very seriously if you doing things that you're not supposed to be doing he's going to approach you about it if you're being safe he's going to welcoming you back there anytime

This place has the potential to be a decent range but the main owner manages to ruin any recreational enjoyment or satisfaction one can get from a good shooting session at a gun range. Unfriendly, unwelcoming, rude, punishing - just a few words which come to mind when thinking of him. The range somehow manages to function despite him and not because of him, and that's just sad. Everyone else there is friendly, customer focused and always helpful in responding to questions or issues. Maybe if the main owner realized it's the customers who keep his doors open and that fat gob of his fed, then maybe he'd appreciate his customers instead of acting like we've wandered off the street uninvited into his living room. If the area ever hosted another range this place would be dead in the water all because of one person.

Nice clean indoor range. More importantly the staff is very polite. They pay close attention to everything without hovering over your neck and they have cool store!
