A: The shooting complex is on a nature conservancy. There's no hunting at the complex itself, however there is public hunting ground at the Wayne Fitzgerald Park nearby. You will still want to get your 2024 20/25 regulations book and look up the site specific regulations

This is a great place to shoot trap. Dave has done an amazing job improving the entire facility. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. In addition to trap shooting, they also offer skeet and sporting clays. They put on some of the best monthly registered trap shoots in the area.

This complex is amazing! Staff are the nicest people and always helpful, the courses are always unique and challenging and they always provide a 12 gauge and sub gauge options. If you can shoot it, they have it.

After a recent trip, I wanted to gather my thoughts to accurately represent my experience at Rend Lake Shooting Complex. From the moment we stepped foot on property, we were welcomed with open arms by the entirety of the staff. There are a variety of shooting games to keep you entertained, but the majority of our shells were expended on the Sporting Clay course. We found a great variety of targets - some that challenged even season shooters and others that were perfect for seeing how hard you can hit them while cutting up with your group. Hats off to Dave and Kelly in particular for what has been created on this property and I would highly recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area.

This is a tremendous place to shoot all Clay Target Sports. Lots of investment made in 2023 to make this a premier shooting range for Southern Illinois
